A/N: here's chapter 8 for ya guys

The next morning

Meredy was the first to wake up in the house, as she stretched her joints popped making a satisfying click sound. She stood up from her bed she walked down the hall towards the bathroom when she saw that Daniel's bedroom door was slightly open, curiosity took over so she open the door slowly to see Daniel and Ultear cuddling each other as they slept. She smiled knowing that Ultear had finally found someone that makes her happy, also making a mental note to ask and tease Ultear about this later, she then closed the door and entered the bathroom to start her morning routine.

Daniel woke up and looked over at the sleeping Ultear, 'she looks so peaceful' he thought, he slowly and gently removed Ultear's arm from around him as so not to wake her up, but unfortunately for him she started to wake up. Daniel chuckled as he said "Good morning ". "Morning" Ultear replied groggily. "Where are you going"? She asked as she tried to get out of bed but her body failed her. "I'm just going to the bathroom to get ready for the day". Daniel replied as he stood up showing off his lean and muscular physique. Ultear stared at him blushing slightly. "Is it your turn to stare at me now"? Daniel asked while smiling."You can't blame me when you have a body like that". Ultear retorted while smirking.The morning continued as normal with all three of them carrying out their usually morning routines. Daniel then woke Luna up and cooked breakfast for everyone, which consisted of toast, bacon, scrambled eggs and beans. After eating breakfast everyone then walked to the guild making small talk along the way. 

At the Fairy Tail Guild

Team Natsu were sitting at a table. Gray and Natsu were hurling insults at each other while Lucy looked like she'd given up trying to stop them. Erza was eating her strawberry cheesecake. Happy was trying to get Carla to like him and Carla was refusing his gift of fish. Wendy was trying to tell Carla to give Happy a chance. The doors opened and Daniel and Ultear walked in holding hands with Meredy standing next to Ultear,  Luna sat on Daniel's shoulder staring into the Guild.

"Morning guys". Daniel said. Everyone replied with either hello or good morning. Today was uneventful really nothing exciting happened until Macao told Wakaba a bit too loudly."It's about that time of year again huh". He said with a defeated tone. "What are you talking about"? Makarov asked. "The Grand Magic Games". Wakaba said in the same tone as Macao. Macao then explained that the Grand Magic Games is a compatition to see which guild is the strongest in all Fiore. Makarov didn't seem interested until Macao said that the winning guild also gets a prize of three million jewel. Makarov then shouted that Fairy Tail would enter and win, the guild erupted into a loud cheers. 

"Well we best start training". Natsu said with his fist in the air. The rest of his team agreed and said that they would train together. "But where are we going to train"? Lucy asked no one came up with any good ideas. Daniel walked up with his team and said "Well, I know a place to train  where you will get much stronger and I'll take you there, on the condition that we'll  get train with you". Daniel smiled."Very well Daniel, take us to your secret training place". Erza said with her usual serious and commanding tone. "Very well meet me at the edge of Magnolia in one hour". Daniel said walking away, he turned around and said "Oh, and make sure you bring your A game to the training or you might not survive". Daniel said with a devious smirk and walked away leaving Team Natsu, aside from Erza who was looking forward to the challenge, worried at just what the training would be like. 

At the edge of Magnolia

Daniel and his team and Team Natsu stood there."You ready"? Y/N asked looking around at everyone present."Yeah I'm all fired up". Natsu replied with fire in his eyes. "Off we go then, oh and is a long way from Magnolia". Daniel said as he and Ultear began to walk away with their hands linked. 

Far away from Magnolia, on a steep mountain side

"How much further Daniel"? Lucy asked tired from all the walking. "We're here". Daniel said as the group stopped and some lay on the floor catching their breath. Daniel walked up to the rock face and put his hand on the rock releasing some of his magic. The group was then enveloped in a bright yellow light, Team Natsu, Ultear and Meredy were scared and nervous about what was happening."Don't worry, it's just teleportation magic to get us to the place we need to be". Daniel said calmly with Luna on his shoulder. The large group was then teleported to a giant rocky open area, almost as if someone had destroyed the peak of a mountain and carved a giant arena where the peak used to be. "Where are we"? Ultear asked looking around.

"Welcome to the Elders Recess, a place where the dragon gods live or so the legend goes. Time flows differently here than out there". Daniel said as everyone looked at him like he was crazy.  "How different is the time flow here then"? Erza asked while the others started to walk around."Three months out there equals one year in here". Y/N stated shocking everyone. 

"WHO DARES ENTER THE SACRED RESTING GROUND OF THE DRAGONS"! A booming voice came from above the group causing the group, aside from Y/N and Luna, to shake with fear.'This magic power is intense ' Gray thought. Then a large black dragon landed in front of them, this dragon was pitch black with pitch black scales some were large enough to look like spikes jutting from his back. He had blood red eyes and two large black horns coming out from the top of his head. "Hello Lord Tiggron it has been quite a while since I last saw you". Daniel said to the dragon bowing in respect to the dragon."It has, young Daniel son of Quinterra as well as you Luna, and who are these guests you have brought with you". Tiggron asked looking at the scared group that Daniel had come with. Tiggron sniffed the air he then looked at both Wendy and Natsu.

"So we have the son of the Fire Dragon King Igneel and the Daughter of the Sky Dragon Grandeeny" Tiggron said with a smile. He then turned to Daniel and said "So I assume you're  here to train with them then". He said, Daniel nodded. "Very well I shall assist you with your training". Tiggron boomed. And so three months of hellish training started for Team Natsu and Daniel's team. 

Time Skip:  3 months 

After their time was up, Tiggron teleported them to Magnolia. The Fairy Tail guild then set off for Crocus to compete in the Grand Magic games. They arrived in Crocus, the people in the capital were surprised to see Fairy Tail in the Games again after they'd be humiliated every time they competed. After everyone got settled in to the hotel they were assigned to, which was a low budget bar with a hotel on the top floor. Team Natsu and Daniel walked around they, came up to a group of people surrounding a blond hired male with an open blue vest with fur around the top and white baggy pants and a black haired male wearing a black cloak with a long sleeved grey top and grey pants.

"Well look Rogue some pesky fairies have come to see what true dragon slayers are like". The blonde haired male said with a condescending voice. The black haired male just nodded. "Hold up what do you mean true dragon slayers"? Natsu asked. "We got our powers from dragons then killed them and absorbed with powers". The blonde said with a smirk however before Natsu was about to charge at the two when Daniel stepped in front of Natsu stopping him."Your dragons must have been weak if you managed to kill them with that weak power". Daniel said smirking at how irritated they had got."WHAT DID YOU SAY"! The blonde yelled, his fists raised as he charged at Daniel looking like he was going to kill him.

As the blonde throw a punch, it was caught by Daniel's hand before it reached his face. "Like I said, you two are weak, I can prove it to you now if you so wish". Daniel said in a calm tone."Prove it you worthless fairy"! The blonde spat out. Daniel sighed letting go of his fist as he threw a violent right hand that collided with the blonde males face sending him flying backwards to where he was originally standing. "Don't test me or you will understand why seven years ago I was feared by every single dark wizard guild out there including the members of the Baram Alliance". Daniel said as he stared at the two dragon slayers with a look of pure hatred. "Let's go Natsu we've got more important things to do than play games with these bastards". Daniel said with venom in his words while walking back to the place where Fairy Tail were staying.
