Flashback one year ago Elder's Recess

"Phew that's training for today done, how are you two holding up"? Daniel asked Ultear and Meredy. "I'm fine though this is less intense than last time we were here". Ultear replied exhaling."You got that right Ultear, I can at least stand this time where as last time was way too much". Meredy added exhaling as well. Just as the group of three were going to take a break a loud roar could be heard and a pitch black scaled dragon could be seen heading towards the group."Lord Tiggron is back and he seems upset about something". Daniel said looking up at the dragon with a look of concern and also there was a slight bit of fear in his voice.

"Young Daniel I have urgent news you must hear" Tiggron bellowed at the group."What's the matter Lord Tiggron"? Daniel asked worried."Your guild Fairy Tail is under attack from a dark guild called Tartarus" Tiggron replied. Daniel, Ultear and Meredy were shocked but the shocked quickly turned to one of angry and hatred. They turned to each other and nodded grabbing their things and running out of the training area. As they exited the Elder's Recess Meredy then turned to Daniel and asked "How are we going to get to Magnolia fast to help the others"? 

"Grab my hands now"! Daniel shouted, surprising Ultear and Meredy as they've never seen Daniel so angry. 'I'm not losing the only family I've ever those bastards in Tartarus and going to pay ' Daniel thought as Ultear and Meredy grabbed his hands. "Earth Dragon Sand Shift". Daniel shouted as sand enveloped the three of them teleporting them to Magnolia and the sight of Magonlia shocked them."This can't be". Meredy said standing there stunned with her hands over her mouth

Magnolia, the once vibrant city full of life and happiness, was now in ruins burnt houses and rubble. Cardia Cathedral was broken almost destroyed. The sky was a dark red colour, the ground started to shake as Y/N's anger began to rise."They're all dead I'm going to kill them all"! Daniel roared running off to find where everyone was. 

At Tartarus's crashed base 

Daniel and Ultear ran to find Natsu looking up at the sky, when they looked up they saw that dragons fighting one red dragon with some scars and a very familiar black and blue dragon.

"Acnologia is back". Daniel said his voice had an essence of fear and his face drained of colour 'why does this dragon plague my life ' he thought. "Natsu what's going on"! Ultear yelled getting the pink haired dragon slayers attention."Ultear and Daniel, Tartarus attacked us and they've really done a number on us, they unlocked a super weapon that the council had hidden away to remove all magic but it looks like it failed". Natsu said getting the two up to speed. He then looked around and asked "Where's Meredy"? "She's with the others trying to help heal the injured". Ultear said as Natsu nodded 

The silence on the ground was broken when Daniel yelled "Earth Dragon Roar"! As he connected with Acnologia, the black dragon looked down to see Daniel angry. 

'He's here but he won't recognise me like this maybe I should show him who I am ' Acnologia thought as the dragon landed in front of Daniel as a bright light surrounded the dragon who lost its form and revealed to be a woman. 

"Wait Acnologia was a chick this whole time"! Natsu yelled out. 

Acnologia hand long dark blue hair, she wore a black tattered cape with what looked like dragon teeth to keep it in place. She had tanned skin with a prominent light blue tribal mark down her left arm and on her face. She also wore dark blue pants with the same markings down the left pant leg. But to Daniel she looked familiar somehow.

'She looks like Ashley but that can't be she died when I was about 7 years old ' Daniel thought as Acnologia walked towards Daniel as Ultear stepped in front of her boyfriend."Who are you and what do you want"! Ultear yelled at the woman as she got into her battle stance."I just want to talk to Daniel please". The woman said in a tone very similar to Erza's one but it sounded like she was almost pleading. "What do you want with me"? Daniel asked standing next to Ultear. "Do you not remember me Little Drake". The woman asked with a smile in her face, Daniel's eyes widened at that name "Ash is that you"? Daniel asked with tears going down his face. "Yes Daniel it's me". Ashley said as tears ran down her face too. They both ran at each other and embraced after 11 years of being apart from one another. 

"Excuse me young man but this woman needs to die she has caused too much trouble in this world"! The red dragon from earlier boomed."Fire Dragon King Igneel let me explain my situation first, I am not the original Acnologia he died many years ago thanks to injuries he sustained from fighting one of the 11 Dragon Gods. He attacked our village and stole me in order to make me his successor to destroy everything". Ashley explained. Everyone was taken aback by what had just been said. "If you want to kill her your gonna have to fight me first you overgrown lizard"! Daniel yelled at Igneel. 

After the end of Tartarus Battle

"Fairy Tail will be disbanded". Master Makarov said. 

One week later

"Well we made it to Crocus girls let's find the Sabertooth guild hall". Daniel said as he looked over at the girls who still wore a sad expression that the one place they had been accepted was now gone and they didn't know why. Daniel looked at them before walking towards them and putting his arms around both of them in a hug which they returned. "Look I know what happened was terrible and I feel the pain of losing Fairy Tail to but we must not be sad because of what is lost we must smile for all the memories we have made and look for a new adventure". Daniel said with the same determination and fire he used when he fought a tough opponent. 

Ultear leaned towards him and kissed him on the lips which Daniel instantly returned. The kiss last only a few seconds as they pulled away Ultear said "You know, it really is a mystery to me how I managed to get with you".The group then laughed and set off toward the Sabertooth Guild hall, once they reached they opened the doors and looked for Sting. Yukino saw them and walked over to them with a large smile on her face. 

"Hey Daniel, Ultear and Meredy what brings you here"? She asked. "Hey Yukino is Sting around at all"? Daniel asked looking around for the blonde Dragon Slayer. Yukino was about to answer when they heard a loud "Daniel"! They group looked around to see Sting walking toward them with Rogue and Minerva causing Daniel and his group to get into a fighting stance. "Whoa Whoa Whoa, calm down guys Minerva is here because she regrets what she has done and wishes to repair the damages she has caused". Sting said jumping in the middle of the two. Daniel and his group stand down but still keep their guard up just in case. "Anyway what brings you here"? Sting exhales as he asked them.

"Can we join Sabertooth"? Daniel asked very simply shocking everyone in the guild hall into silence. "What about Fairy Tail"? Yukino asked as Daniel, Ultear and Meredy flinched at the question. "Master Makarov disbanded Fairy Tail after our fight between Tartarus with no explanation, so us three came to an agreement that we should join Sabertooth because they are similar to Fairy Tail in the way they treat their guild members". Ultear replied as a few tears welled up in the corners of her eyes. Daniel wiped the tears away and grabbed her hand in a show of support and comfort, Ultear smiled at him as Sting replied agreeing to take them in as members of the guild. 

A few weeks later

Minerva was looking at the S Class request board in Sabertooth looking for a job when she found one that asked someone to take down a large monster in a forest. ' maybe I should ask Daniel and his team for help and apologise to them for my actions ' she thought as she approached Daniel's table she had a weird feeling in her chest with every step she took towards Daniel the feeling got weirder and weirder but she made it to the table with her normal composed features and asked Daniel and his team."Hey Daniel can I asked for you and your team to help me on this quest"? Minerva asked showing them the flyer for the job.

Daniel looked it over as he passed it to the Ultear and Meredy he looked at Minerva and sighed saying "Yeah I'll come with you, I might as well get this out of the way so there is not awkward air between us". Daniel said as Minerva stiffened a little bit as she anticipated a bit of verbal abuse coming her way from her past actions but instead Daniel put a hand on her shoulder saying "What you have done in the past to my friends I can forgive but never forget the pain you caused them and me. But I guess you were in a similar situation to Ultear in that you were both misguided in your youths. When me and Natsu broke into the Sabertooth hotel a year ago there was a certain feeling I got when you were around Jiemma, it was almost like you were afraid of him not because of his magic but because of something else, if I may can I ask why you felt like that"? Daniel asked, Minerva stiffened up even more at that question but she replied. 

"Jiemma was my father but he wasn't the nicest father by any stretch of the imagination, he was very abusive towards me so much so that he took me into a forest when I was a young girl and left me in the middle of it and told me if I wanted to come home I would have to fight my way back, all I ever wanted was for my father to love me but he only loved power so I thought if I became stronger than anyone he would love me but he only saw me as a tool nothing more". Minerva said tears coming out, she flinched as she felt something embrace her as she looked up to see Daniel hugging her and saying "No one should have to face what you have faced, I'm sorry that your past wasn't great but I'll make sure your future is much better". Daniel said with a smile, while all this was going on Ultear had a look of anger on her face ' Minerva leave Daniel alone now ' she thought but was snapped out of her thoughts by Daniel asking "Hey Ultear you coming or not"?

"Yeah I'll come with you, someone's gotta make sure you don't destroy the forest". Ultear said grabbing Daniel hand. "Hey that was one time"! Daniel yelled causing the guild to laugh and Minerva to giggle at Daniel reaction.
