A/N: here's chapter eleven for ya guys, now if you're wondering why there is a large time skip its because I feel like Daniel wouldn't add anything of new to the story, so everything plays out how it does in the show. Also everyone survives the dragon invasion, including Ultear because Team Natsu trained with Daniel in the Elder's Recess and they helped to prevent anyone else from dying.  

Inside the Castle of Crocus: Female Dressing Room

"Do I really have to wear this"? Yukino asked wearing a long green frilly dress and a green flower in her hair. She also has a hint of embrassment on her face as she asks the question."Yeah because it looks amazing on you". Lucy replies as she smiles at the silver haired female. "I've gotta say Yukino that dress looks great on you, really makes you stand out in the best way possible". Ultear said as she admired Yukino, who was blushing slight because of what Ultear had told her. 

Inside the Castle of Crocus:Male Dressing Room 

"Do I really have to wear this devil clothing"? Daniel as as he reluctantly put on his pitch black blazer over his white dress shirt, he winced in pain as the blazer went over his arms which were bruised and had scarred due to the fight with the dragons earlier. "Yes you do Daniel, if we have to do it so do you". Gray said as he was about to walk out of the door with nothing but his boxers and a necktie on but Daniel stopped him by saying "Gray put some fucking clothes on before you leave this room"! Daniel coughed as he finished his sentence while Gray just dashed to grab his suit he was 'supposed' to wear to the ball.

In the ballroom 

The ballroom was well light with multiple chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, lots of long dinner tables scattered across the room with a multitude of food ranging from meat to desserts. Everyone from all the guilds attended this ball at the request of the King himself. "Damn look how lively everyone is you wouldn't know that we've been fighting each other and then to top it off fighting a bunch of dragons". Daniel said to himself as he stood off to the side observing how everyone was suddenly so friendly to each other after most people displayed complete animosity for one another. "But don't you think it's better that everyone is like this rather than at each other's throats all the time". Someone said as the walked up next to the auburn haired earth mage, Daniel turned around to see Ultear standing next to him with her long dark purple hair braided and reach the middle portion of her back. Ultear was wearing a white one sleeved kimono with a dark golden sash around her waist. Daniel looked over to Ultear and smiled, causing the time mage to blush slightly, Daniel then said "You look absolutely stunning Ultear". Daniel then gave Ultear a quick kiss on the cheek

"Ugh can you two love birds get a room". Meredy said as she walked up to Daniel and Ultear wearing a very similar outfit to Ultear expect her kimono was a light pink colour and the sash was dark blue in colour. "But Ultear is right you know Daniel so just relax and have fun". Meredy added with her usual upbeat and cheerful tone while flashing Daniel her infectious smile that he no choice but to give Meredy a sly smile and pulled her in for a hug. "Pinkies right you know Daniel". Gajeel said as he walked up to the group. Meredy pouted and turned away from Gajeel as Daniel and Ultear just laughed slightly."Who are you and what have you done with Gajeel". Daniel said as everyone laughed 'it's nice to see everyone relax after what just happened ' Daniel thought 

"Alright who's ready for some drinks". Sting said as he approached Daniel and his group."Sure your not already drunk Sting". Ultear said with a slight smile."No I'm fine, like I said who wants a drink"? Sting asked "Give us two then". Daniel said as Sting grinned and poured two glasses of champagne and gave it to Daniel who took two and gave one to Ultear and the other to Gajeel."You not drinking Daniel"? Ultear asked as she took a sip of her drink. "Nah not a fan of that stuff, I'm gonna go grab a beer". Daniel replied as he left the group and walked over to where Cana was standing to grab a drink. 

The doors to the ballroom opened again and in stepped Yukino, Lucy, Mirajane, Lisanna, Wendy and Carla. Everyone's heads turned to face them. Yukino's eyes looked around the room, she then spotted Sting and some other members of Sabertooth and tears started to fill her eyes."I can't do this, I'm sorry". She said quietly and began to run out when Sting called out.

"Yukino wait! The master and Milady are gone and aren't coming back, I know what we did to you was horrible but we're going to have a fresh start and rebuild Sabertooth the why a real guild should be build and treat each other like friends so please come back, I beg you please. The guild just wouldn't be the same without you". Sting said almost begging Yukino to come back. Yukino was shocked to hear this but then a young slim woman with a voluptuous figure walked toward Sting. The woman had long purple hair that fell to the middle of her back and is cut in a traditional Japanese 'Princess' style. She was wearing a very elaborate black dress. "Did you forget our fight her life belongs to me and I say she has to join Mermaid Heel"! The purple haired woman yelled in a very drunk voice.Sting walks over to her and says "Your completely wasted Kagura"! "Whatever her life is mine and say she still has to join my guild". Kagura replied with a nonchalant attitude. 

Just then all the other guild started to chime in on why Yukino should join their guild. While all of this was happening Yukino was completely overwhelmed she originally thought that no one would want her in a guild anymore because she was weak. Suddenly a big hand came down a rested on Yukino's shoulder causing her to flinch slightly and look up to see who's had it was, she was shocked to see that Daniel had put his hand on her shoulder, the earth dragon slayer had a large smile on his face, and next to him stood Ultear and Meredy who each flashed Yukino a smile."Look at this noisy bunch almost fighting over one wizard and here I thought that the arguments had ceased. But I wouldn't blame them if they did start fighting over you since you are an exceptional wizard Yukino. You are strong and brave you know what to stand up for your friend and those you care about. Any guild would be lucky to have you, of course I would love it if you joined Fairy Tail but at the end of the day the choice is up to you". Daniel said as Yukino began to cry. 

"He's right you know, everyone deserves a second chance to prove themselves just look at me and Meredy. We did some bad things in the past but we changed, largely thanks to Daniel but everyone in Fairy Tail made us feel welcome so never think that you don't deserve a second chance because you do". Ultear added. "Thank you so much". Yukino replied as her tears wouldn't stop flowing.

"No more tears now, you can decide who to join later but now let's have some fun at this party". Daniel said as he wiped away the silver haired wizards tears Yukino just nodded her head in agreement. "I suppose I should step in before they do actually fight one another". Daniel said offhandedly as he yelled . "Alright shut up everyone"! Everyone turned to see who was shouting only to see Daniel standing next to Yukino along with Ultear and Meredy."No point in fighting over who gets Yukino, she'll make her decision later now let's get on with this party shall we". Daniel finished as he went to grab another beer.

After a while the music in the ballroom became slow and the tables were placed at the sides of the room to allow people the chance to dance with their partners. Daniel shook his head slightly at the music as he stood up and walked over to Ultear, who was talking with Yukino and Lucy. "Hello ladies". Daniel said causing all three female wizards to jump slightly, they turned arid to see the auburn haired mage smiling slightly at their reaction. "Hey babe, what's up"? Ultear asked as Daniel did a slight bow and asked "May I have this dance milady". Daniel offered his hand to Ultear who just smiled as she replied "Of course you may". The two then waltzed to where everyone was dancing. 

With Daniel and Ultear 

Daniel and Ultear were dancing in traditional ballroom style as Ultear rested her head on her Daniel's shoulder and the two slowly danced the night away. Daniel looked down at Ultear's content smile and a love struck smile slowly began to crawl onto his face as he said "You know something Ultear". Ultear then looked up at Daniel, her bright red eyels looking into his dark blue eyes, as Daniel jsut contiuned saying "Being with you is the best thing that has ever happened to me, while I love being in Fairy Tail and I care for my guild mates but with you I feel different. I know we're together but whenever I see you my heart begins beat faster". Daniel then lent down and kissed Ultear passionatly on the lips, as the pair parted from thir kissed Daniel finished his heart felt speech by saying "I love you Ultear Milkovich with all my heart and I will always love you". Ultear was crying after hearing how much her boyfriend loved her, she never thought that anyone would ever love her romantically after the awful things she has done, her tears began to stain Daniels black blazer jacket as she replied "No one has ever said anything like that to me. You saved me when I needed saving the most, you are the most important person in my life. I love you Daniel please never leave me". Ultear then gave Daniel a very tight hug as she right now felt tnat if she let go of him that Daniel would disappear, Daniel just hugged back and said "I'll never leave you Ultear, not now not ever".  

The next morning 

Everyone from Fairy Tail was walking in the streets of Magnolia being greeted as heroes once again. The Mayor of Magnolia decided to give Fairy Tail its old guild hall back causing Master Makarov to cry in appreciation. Everything went back to normal for a few weeks, people laughing and drinking, taking jobs and most of all brawling in the guild hall. "Damn can't they stop just for one day". Daniel sighed as he and his team sat on the second floor which was for S Class wizards. "I know what you mean, I don't mind a brawl every once in a while but we've had a brawl for two weeks straight now. It's just way too noisy". Ultear said signing as well as she was trying to read a book that Levy had recommended she read. Just as she finished a wooden chair was sent flying and almost hit Ultear in the face but Daniel jumped from his seat and punched the chair causing the wooden chair to splinter before it hit Ultear.

"Okay that's it I'm breaking this one up". Daniel said as he jumped down from the second floor.

"I'm going to give all of you five seconds to stop this now or I will send everyone involved in this brawl to the infirmary for a month am I clear"! Daniel bellowed and just like that everyone stopped. "Look I know your excited but use that energy and take on a quest so you can use it for something useful other than beating each other up". Daniel sighed once again. He walks back upstairs and grabs his hoodie. "Well I'm off to go train, you two wanna come with"? Daniel asked Ultear and Meredy."Yeah sure lets get going". Ultear said as she put her book away into a small side bag, Meredy also rose from her seat as she followed Daniel and Ultear out of the Fairy Tail guild hall. As they walk down the stairs and out of the guild hall Daniel tells Makarov that himself, Ultear and Meredy are going to train and that they should be back in a few months.
