Bello! And welcome to a new chapter! Sorry this one took me a tiny while to write, I had major writers block for a few hours and I wanted to punch something. POV: Lucy

"What do you mean your death?" Gray asked me, as I sat at a table with Gray, Juvia, Erza, Mira, Gajeel, Erza, Natsu, and Happy.

"I asked the same thing." I said. "And it said that if a descendent didn't give in and the wolf took over, the descendent doesn't just switch places with the wolf. The descendent dies, and the wolf is the only thing that will exist."

"So you'll die?" Happy asked me.

"If I don't give in, eventually yes." I said. I looked down at my lap, and thought to myself for a moment.

"Is there something else?" Erza asked.

"When my wolf side told me this, it didn't sound aggressive." I said.

"What do you mean?" Juvia asked me.

"It sounded more like a warning then a threat." I said. "Like it's trying help me, not kill me."

"That doesn't mean it's not." Natsu said.

"Natsu's right, it might just be trying to get to you." Erza said.

"But if it was, it would be telling to fight it, to not except it." I said. "Because if I keep fighting it, I will die and my wolf side will take over." I said and everyone went quiet for a minute.

"Lucy, you have to give in." Natsu said.

"No, I can't." I said.

"Why not?" Erza asked.

"Because I don't want to be this. What if there is a cure but it can only be used if the descendent hasn't given in?" I said. "I know I'm probably being selfish, but this is my body, my life. And I don't want this."

"Juvia doesn't believe that you're being selfish." Juvia said. "Juvia thinks that you're fighting for a good reason."

"That's not helping." Gray snapped.

"Hey!" Gajeel yelled.

"Gray!" Mira said.

"What?" He asked. "We're supposed to be helping her right? Well if Lucy doesn't except that she is a Werewolf she's going to die. And then Juvia is saying that its a good idea to fight back, when it's only going to kill Lucy."

"That's still no reason to snap at her like that." Gajeel said, and I couldn't sit there anymore. I stood up and ran out of the Guild and down the street until I was at the edge of a forest. I stared at it and breathed in the scent of the pine.

'Run.'

A voice said inside my head.

'Why?'

I asked it.

'Just do it, it will make you feel better.'

It told me.

'How do I know that I can trust you?'

I asked.

'Because I am apart of you. Always have been, always will be.'

It told me and I thought about it.

'Run!'

And I did. I took off into the woods and ran as fast as I could. I ran and didn't look back, I ducked under tree branches, jumped over logs and rocks. I just ran without thinking. I felt the wind in my hair flowing behind me, and I smiled as I felt the rush of the wind try to pull me back, but nothing was going to hold me back.

'How does it feel?'

The voice asked.

'Amazing.'

I told it and ran until I broke through the trees and I looked around and saw that it opened up to a meadow, that lead to a cliff.

'Walk over to the edge.'

The voice told me and I slowly walked over towards the edge and I saw that it looked out over Magnolia.

'What do you see?'

"I see Magnolia." I said aloud.

'What else?'

I looked around a little and saw a big building.

"The Guild." I said.

'Exactly.'

"What's your point?" I asked the voice.

'My point is that you love Fairy Tail. And until you give in to being a Werewolf, and join Ethan's pack that Guild is in danger.'

"Is this a threat?" I asked.

'No, like you said earlier this is a warning. Unlike most wolves, I respect the 'I was here first' rule. However I wouldn't mind taking over if I got the chance.'

"Then why are you attacking my Guild? Why did you attack Natsu?" I asked.

'It's a wolf's instincts, to attack those that appose a threat.'

"That doesn't explain anything." I said. "Natsu isn't a threat."

'I also don't have full control of you either, when I took over you were fighting me.'

"I didn't even know what I was doing, I wasn't trying to fight you." I said, as I sat down on the edge of the cliff.

'You weren't physically or mentally fighting me, you not excepting what you are, is you fighting back.'

"So if I don't except it, I will continue to fight you back without even trying." I said, as I figured this out little by little.

'That's right.'

"That still doesn't explain why you attacked Natsu." I said.

'Like I said, it's an instinct to attack when felt threatened.'

"But none of them threatened you." I told the voice.

'But you did.'

"What?" I asked.

'You are fighting me on the inside, therefore you are a threat. And because I can't attack you while I'm in control, I attacked those who you care about to get to you.'

"All because of a wolf's instincts?" I asked.

'Yes. And I do apologize, it is not my intention to hurt you or anyone else. But when I feel threatened I attack, and because I'm busy doing a multiple things at the same time I didn't really know what I was doing I went after your Guild mate. But it is not something that I can control.'

"What do you mean you can't control it?" I yelled at nothing but the voice inside my head.

'Have you ever fought more than one war at a time? And your life depended on all of the results.'

"Not until recently." I said thinking about how crazy my life has gotten in the last week.

'Well, it's really hard. I am fighting you, and I am also fighting myself. I know it doesn't sound like I'm doing much, but even at this moment I am still fighting you. I am being forced to take control of you.'

"It doesn't feel like that." I said.

'I know, you can't feel it but I can. And it's draining.'

"Well I know how that feels." I said agreeing as I looked at the Guild.

'I know you do. So the next time I attack your Guild members, know that it is not my intention.'

"I still don't understand something, how are you being forced to take control?" I asked.

'It's the way that the curse was made.'

"What curse?" I questioned.

'That's a story for another time.'

"But I want to know." I begged.

'I know, but the sun is starting to set. And you need to get back to your friends.'

"But I forced you away last night I can force you away again." I said while I stood up and started heading back into the woods to get back to the Guild.

'Not tonight, and remember the more you force me to go away the less time you have with your friends. So, don't force it. For your sake.'
