"Lucy" Lucy flinched and looked at the white cat in shock "you don't have to panic. I can see the future and happened to find your name on it" Lucy dropped her shoulders "I know you're not a bad celestial wizard" Carla faced the wall "the master of this guild told everyone that if you can earn their trust, that anklet will be removed" Lucy's eyes widened "do you think you can earn their trust?" She looked down and shook her head "why not?" She went silent. There's no way she can earn trust. She's considered dangerous and hated. It's impossible, and why would they take off her anklet? To test her?

"Well, you better put those clothes on so Natsu can take you down to meet everyone. I picked these out with Wendy, so I hope you like them" Lucy slightly smiled and got dressed in blue and white sleeveless shirt, a blue skirt, and brown boots. She didn't have to wear rags, how great! These clothes feel nice

"Do you like it?" Carla asked. Lucy shyly nodded "do you ever talk?" She ignored the question and put her very long hair in a bun. All this hair is annoying... Carla sighed and stared at Lucy's outfit "a great fit" Lucy sat down in front of the cat. She seems trustworthy. If she believes Lucy isn't like the other wizards, then she trust Carla "now that we have that, let me explain some things. My name is Carla, I'm a exceed. You are in the infirmary in a wizard guild called Fairy tail" she showed her the marking on her back "this guild treats each other like family. They're loud and stupid if you ask me" she shrugged "but that's just me. The old man you saw was the master of this guild, Makarov. He runs the place. The little girl is Wendy. She's shy and polite, and a air dragon slayer" she explained everyone in the guild, including the people that took Lucy here

"And there's Natsu, the one that is supposably your master" hm.. "But he didn't know the extra reward was a person. So don't bother being his servant. He's not like that" Lucy sighed. Natsu... The first person in a long time to give her a true smile. Spacing off, she can remember seeing that same smile years back... Weird

"He's not that bright, but very powerful. He believes in friends and family. He's a fire dragon slayer, so don't try to pick a fight with him" Carla chuckled "not that he'll ever hurt you. You already earned his, mine, Happy, Wendy, and Gray's trust" Lucy looked down to hide her smile. So... They won't hurt her? That's... Wow

"Erza, Mira, and Master still have some doubts, and the guild is ify, ify... They have to see if you're good or bad" Carla jumped on the floor "they'll be in caution, even if your magic is sealed" she walked to the door "I'll go tell Natsu to come. "Oh! And..." She looked at Lucy "you should wear that smile more often" she exits

Lucy looked at her keys and smiled. Soon... Hopefully soon they'll be together. She hugged them before hearing a knock on the door, then opened, letting in Natsu wearing a smile

"You look great" she blushed, looking down "ready?" She looked away. He walked over, placing his hands on his knees to reach her height "hey, don't worry. I'm here" she shyly nodded and took the hand he offered, pulling her out of bed. She stared at the floor "come on"

Natsu walked Lucy to the main room, where everyone usually drinks and hang out "so I never got your name..." She kept her mouth shut while her keys jingled on her belt. She held them to keep them quiet "still won't talk huh?" She looked up at his smiling face before looking away to hide her own "it's good to see your hair out of your face, Luce" she looked at him surprised. He froze there surprised as well. There it goes with that name again. Why did he call her that? It's not the first time that happened. Who was Luce? Short for Lucy?

They finally arrived at the main hall. Everyone went quiet when they saw Natsu. Lucy his behind his back shyly as they walked to Team Natsu's favorite table

"So you're out now" Gray smiled, next to Juvia staring

"That's wonderful!" Wendy clapped, next to Romeo

"Oh! I hardly recognized you" Erza said with a slight smile

"So that's the dangerous celestial wizard? She's just a bunny" Gajeel said. Levy slapped his arm "ow" he sweat dropped. Levy shyly walked up to Natsu. Lucy peaked her eye out to stare at her

"H-hello... I'm Levy" she offered her hand. Lucy hid completely. Levy frowned "um... I heard of your story and just wanted to say... I never seen a woman as strong as you!" Lucy looked at her surprised "you went 3 months without food and you're still alive after that and all those injuries! I think you're really cool!" If you earned Natsu and everyone's trust, you got mine!" She winked

"Me too!" Romeo ran up to Levy's side "if big brother Natsu trust you, then I do too!" Lucy hugged Natsu's arm and started crying tears of joy. People actually trust her..? Is this a joke? She's too happy to care right now. Let her enjoy it while it last. Everyone smiled at her. Natsu rustled her hair with his signature grin

The whole day passed and all Lucy did was stare at everyone talking and having a good time. She even giggled from time to time it recovered it so no one would notice, but they always did. Erza and Makarov took a good look at her enjoying herself secretly

"What do you think, master?" Erza asked

"It's only been a day and she has half the guild smiling with her" Makarov responded

"Maybe she's not so bad" Mira said behind the bar "a girl in her condition can't be evil. Wendy can read people's emotion. If she sensed evil, she would have done something" Makarov nodded

"True... I think we should have a visit with Mr.Hearfilia"

"Master..." Erza said

"I would love to know more of this child's background, will you be coming?"

"I can't... The guards cast a spell on me and the others. So I can't go back to that place"

"Well!" Mira held her hips "I don't mind coming, Master! I also would like to know more about the poor girl" the three looked at Lucy hiding her smile, then looked at her looking at her keys and hug them

"Maybe she is different..." Erza frowned. Makarov nodded

"We shall leave in a few days, ladies" he walked away

"But master-"

"We'll find a way to get you in that place" Erza smiled and walked over to Lucy

"Ms.Heartfilia" she called "Natsu" they both looked up at Erza surprised

"You called her Ms.Heaetfilia, is that her name?" He looked at Lucy sipping her tea

"Oh, yeah... Anyways, maybe you both should go and get some sleep. You can show Ms.Heartfilia what it's like to do a job tomorrow" Lucy pouted at the name as Natsu's smile grew

"Alright! Come on, Happy!" He cheered

"Aye sir!" He took Lucy's hand and yanked her out the guild. She shyly waved to everyone while flying out until the guild was gone.

The three arrived at a small house with the boy's names on a sign "here we are!" Happy cheered. Lucy looked around the house. There was dirty dishes in the sink, clothes all over the place, and trash piling in the trash can. Lucy sweatdropped

"Sorry about the mess" Natsu nervously laughed. Lucy took this as the opportunity to be useful, so she bowed to him and started cleaning "huh?" Why did she bow for? Why is she cleaning?

"She must've found out you're her master" Happy whispered

"But I'm not her master... That's just wrong"

"She knows you know this. Carla told me. Maybe she's just cleaning because she thinks it's dirty and girls don't like that? Or maybe it's a thanks"

"A thanks?"

"Yeah! Remember that man offering the extra reward? If you never took it, we wouldn't have a new friend!" Natsu smiled and watched Lucy cleaning

"Let me help" the three cleaned the house together and were completely tired "wow..." Natsu said while laying on the floor opposite of Lucy laying in front of him "I never think I'd see the floor again" he and Happy sat up after Lucy and faced her staring at her doll "thanks a lot for doing this!" She smiled a little "So anyways, what job do you think we should do?" She started thinking

"We already split the 10 million jewels, Natsu. Why do we need to go on more jobs?" Happy asked

"Because they're fun! And Lucy will get the chance to see one in action!" Lucy looked at him shocked. He just realized what he just called her "Lucy..." He started thinking.

"Who's Lucy?" Happy asked

"I..I don't know... It just came out my mouth" who's Lucy? The blonde in front of him nodded "huh? is your name Lucy?" She nodded again "how did I even know that? I knew that before anyone gave me the name" she looked at him, ending up having them stare at each other. Looking at each other like this... Makes their head start to hurt

"Hey, are you ever going to talk?" Natsu asked. His face close to hers. She flinched wide eyed "here" he lifted her up to lay her in bed "you can sleep here tonight" she looked down. He laid down next to her. W-what is he doing..? She stared at him and started falling asleep.

She then looked at the door... Should she escape and be free to do as she wish? She didn't know anything about the outside world. She's been in the Heartfilia mansion her whole life. She didn't know the ways of commoners

She looked at Happy and Natsu peacefully asleep. No... These are the people that saved her, that healed her, that fed her, and let her smile... How can she leave something like that? She watched a few strangers going to the woods from her window back in the mansion. She knew something was going to be different. She didn't know why, never expecting that what was different was going to be her life changing for the better... She smiled to herself and fell asleep in Natsu's warm arms

Upon returning to the guild after Natsu burned the breakfast he wanted to make, the three went to the job board after eating breakfast at the guild.

Lucy stood near Natsu, trying to ignore the glares of some guild members. She was aware that she hasn't earned everyone's trust

"That celestial murder came back?" They whispered

"Who's she trying to fool?"

"She's not a member, why is she still here?"

"Of course Natsu would believe in a pretty face"

"Actions ruin a pretty face. She's terrible"

"All of them are the same"

"They abused and forced their celestial spirits to do their crimes"

"I bet her spirits are all messed up and abused"

"What a joke" Lucy shut her eyes and begun crying, until Erza came over and smashed the men's table angrily

"I'm sorry, what were you saying? I don't think you were loud enough" dark haze escaped her glare "care to repeat yourselves?" she took out a sword "I would love to listen" the men shook in fear and ran away

"We're sorry!" Scary... Erza sighed and walked over to Lucy

"You alright?" She shyly nodded and looked down "you just need to build their trust. It'll be hard if you're just going to stay quiet all the time" Natsu turned with a flyer in his hands and noticed Lucy looking down

"What I miss?" Erza snorted

"Nothing much" she moved her hand behind her and took out the cloak Lucy was wearing yesterday, plus a whip on the top "here, I got this washed for you and got you this. I figured you'd need something to defend yourself while on a mission" Lucy held the handle and whip it to the empty table the men were sitting on, and destroyed it. She flinched, dropping it. Her friends grinned

"Impressive" Erza smiled

"You're strong" Natsu chuckled

"So cool!" Levy ran over

"You're powerful even without magic!" Wendy cheered

"She was alright-" Gajeel was hit by Levy before he could finish his sentence. Lucy looked at her hands. This was the power that the celestial use to hurt their spirits. She fist her hands in disappointment and looked at everyone. Natsu tugged on her hand

"You're definitely coming with me on this mission!"

"Aye!" Happy agreed. Lucy took the whip Happy handed to her and smiled. Maybe this won't be so bad... There's some that still don't like her but there's enough to trust her enough to make her feel good.

"Let's go!" Natsu went flying out the door

The train ride took 2 days to get to the job sight and back. It's been forever since they've been to the guild, but it's finally time to go back. Riding on this train was a total nightmare for poor Natsu. Lucy smiled while looking out the window

"I hate trains" Natsu whined, getting off the train after arriving back to town. After landing in the ground, he revived himself "I'm alive!" He cheered. Lucy giggled and follows him back to the guild.

The mission took several days, so she used it to fight monsters with her whip and get to know Natsu and Happy more. They're great. The more she got to know about Natsu, the more her memory of her childhood started coming back to her

They arrived at the guild. Natsu froze when he saw a very familiar guild member sitting down on the bar. He knew he smelled him from outside "Laxus!" Natsu glared. The large blonde man with the scar on his face looked at Natsu and Lucy staring

"Natsu" Natsu flared his body with a smirk. Lucy flinched

"Let's fight!" Right when Natsu jumped him, Laxus punched him to the wall in one hit. Lucy gasped

"So" she looked up at the man towering her "you're the celestial wizard the guild was talking about, huh?" She grabbed her chin. Her eyes widened "you don't look like much to me"

"Laxus!" Gray yelled. Laxus took Lucy's keys off her belt. She tried reaching for them, but he kicked her to the floor as he observed them. Levy caught her before she hit the floor

"Celestial keys... Weird looking things"

"How could you do that!?" Levy glared "she did nothing wrong!"

"I won't let you hurt a friend, Laxus!" Gray glared

"Friend?! Are you kidding me!?" Laxus glared "she should be nothing but ashes right now! Her kind is the worse!"

"That's enough, Laxus" Master came back with Erza and Mira. Mira held a box while Erza held a glass jewelry box

"Gramps? You're protecting her too?"

"I will tell you now, Laxus... She is nothing like the other celestial wizards" Makarov said. Lucy gasped "she's different"

"Oh yeah? How?!" Laxus glared at Lucy. Who was crying for her keys he was crushing, except for one dangling out. Makarov nodded

"Levy? May you remove the magic seal?" Everyone looked at him in shock. Levy took out her air pen

"Already on it!" She started writing a spell in the air. Natsu groaned awake and walked over. Lucy stared at Levy trying to remove the anklet. Can she really do it? Can she finally see her spirits again?!

"And... Done!" The anklet disappeared. Everyone waited to see what would happen. Most prepared for battle

"Heh" Laxus laughed "what magic can she do without her keys?" One started shining "huh?" A bright light figure appeared in front of everyone. Lucy cupped her mouth, seeing one of her spirits coming back to her

The shine stopped and revealed a red headed man with wild hair, glasses, and a suit. His eyes were closed. Everyone in the guild prepared for battle. Lucy burst into tears, sobbing. The spirit heard and snapped his head to look at her in shock

"Lucy..." She opened her arms

"L-Leo..." He ran over to hold her in his arms

"Lucy..." He sobbed "I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you" she nodded

"You're here... You're really here..." He strolled her hair

"Yes... And I'm not going anywhere" the keys were dropped. Letting all her sprites out at once, smiling at her. She cried more

"Everyone..." They rushed over to hug her. She sobbed as loudly as she could, finally feeling the empty space in her heart vanish. Everyone in the guild smiled. Natsu smiled, finally happy to hear her speak for the first time

"I miss you... All of you" she cried, looking at them individually

"We miss you too, Princess" Virgo said

"It's good to see your body again, Miss Lucy!" Taurus smiled

"Hair cut for a celebration?" Cancer asked

"It's about time you escaped! Brat!" Aquarius grabbed her ankle and lifted it in the air, making her dangle

"Don't be mean! Peri! Peri!" Gemini cried

"Let go of her!" Leo pulled on her hands. Aquarius pulled on her legs

"Not until I teach her a lesson for making us worry!" Lucy just stayed in the air, confused

"Miss Lucy..." Aries frowned "you're going to hurt her" she told everyone

"Don't hurt my lady!" Taurus pulled with Leo

"This looks fun!" Lyra cheered

"I honestly don't know what to do..." Scorpio sighed

"You can get off your ass and help me!" Aquarius glared. Lucy became uncomfortable from all the pulling. Everyone had a tug of war with her. Some people in the guild found it funny

"Guys... Please st-"

"Rescue Lucy!" Gemini cheered, transformed into her and jumped on her body with Virgo. Everyone was pulled together and fell on one another with Lucy on the very bottom.

Everyone quickly got off and stared at her. She sat there blankly before bursting out in laughter. Her celestial spirits laughed with her. The entire guild stared at her happy face, having a good time. This is the most they ever seen her show emotions. Natsu smiled at her smile. It's like she never went through the pain.

He looked down at Gemini transformed into a little girl with a pretty dress on. This little girl... The way she smiled... Why did he have the feeling he's seen it before?

"Lucy" Makarov walked over to her "we had visited your father" she flinched and scooted away. Her celestial spirits covered her

"We won't let you take her back!" Leo glared and grabbed her hand, pulling her up "you're going to have to beat us all in order to get her!" Lucy frowned

"Leo..." Everyone in the guild frowned. Maybe... Not all Celestial wizards are bad after all...

"Here" Erza handed the glass box towards Lucy behind her spirits "we got your father to give this to us" her father? Gemini (1) snatched it and gave it to her. It required a key

"It requires a key, Princess" Virgo said. Natsu's eyes widened before digging in his pocket and take out the pink celestial key the ghost gave him. Gemini (2) noticed and snatched it from him to give it to Lucy. She looked at the Key surprised

"Mr.Heartfilia explained the true nature of Lucy's mother. She was a kind soul and never demanding. She never told her husband the truth about her magic, not until she accidentally dropped her keys when falling ill on a walk together" Makarov spoke. Lucy fist the pink key "his brother died in that war the celestial wizards caused, making him hate every last one of them. He didn't see his wife the same again and she died from her weakness. Even as a gentle soul, he let his anger blind him and take everything out on Lucy, even if she was only 10 years old when he found out"

"10..?" Levy gasped

"How terrible!" Juvia gasped. Lucy looked at the box in her hands and lifted her key, watching the tip glow and open the box automatically

"Jude said this box belonged to your mother, Lucy" Lucy looked at him "he said she kept her important documents in there" she slowly opened the box and took out a note. Her eyes widened in every word before biting her lips and face her friends

"Everyone..." She finally spoke to them "I couldn't thank you enough for all that you've done for me... I never thought I would deserve something so great. Even when no one believed in me, you did. Though it is true most celestial wizards gave all of us a bad name, many of us were loyal to our spirits. I care about my spirits as much as you care for each other... These guys were my only family, I thought I only had them to depend on. You showed me that there's others out there who come to accept me. I am not like those other wizards. Thank you to those who believe in me. Thank you for your aid and love... Though it wasn't for that long, that's all I ever wanted. I really wish I can stay... But I am needed else where" Natsu stepped forward

"Lucy..." She smiled, facing him

"If it wasn't for you, I would had still been in that place receiving punishments I didn't deserve. It's my gratitude that I should give to you the most" this is the most she ever spoke... Starting from not saying anything at all to all, this shocks him... He doesn't like how serious she was

"Lucy..." He took another step forward

"I am the last Celestial wizard in existence. Without me, the Celestial world could not exist... I must go.." She closed her eyes happily "thank you so much for all that you've done..." He shook his head and ran after her when she and her spirits turned into light

"Wait! Don't go!" She offered her hand

"I'm going to the celestial world..." She smiled brightly "please don't forget me..." A tear ran down her cheek

"No! Luce! Lucy! Wait!" Tears shed from his eyes, almost reaching for her hand

"Thank you... Natsu Dragneel..." Her body disappeared with the rest. He fell on the ground in shock

"Lucy..." He stared at the floor, wide eyed, watching his tears falling "why..? You didn't even get the chance to become a official member... We all could had been great friends" him and his friends cried in silence. She wouldn't even open up, and now that she did... They never got the chance to become close to her

"Natsu..?" Mira walked up to her "if it makes you feel any better, you can have this..." Natsu stood up and shakily took the box she offered, but ended up dropping it and whatever was inside all over the place. His eyes widened at all the photographs on the floor. Most was of a little girl with blonde hair next to her celestial wizards, hugging them happily. And others were of her family's vacations and time together. The pictures that stood out the most from the rest, and the ones that made him burst into tears, were the ones where that little girl and a pink haired boy were holding hands and smiling at the camera

He cupped his mouth, staring at them in shock. Picking up one picture of her hugging his head while her celestial spirits smiled around them. He shakily turned it over, seeing a message written in crayon.

"Me and Natsu meeting my friends!" He turned every photo of them together, seeing that there was messages on all of them of what they were doing. He picked a photo up of her, himself, and her mother laughing together. He flinched then read the message

"They gave me and my mother a bad name... I hope I'll be the one to change that. Natsu will always be the first one to believe in me and my mommy"

"Luce..." He was out of breath, shocked that he forgotten about someone so important. His grown body remembered her scent, but it was him that couldn't remember those special moment when he was a kid. Lucy must've remembered... Since she called him by his first and last name one last time

"Natsu..." Makarov frowned. He rubbed his nose, still holding the pictures and stood

"Natsu..?" Happy cried. Natsu walked to the exit

"Where are you going!?" Erza yelled. He stopped walking, not looking at any of his guild members frowning at him

"What does it look like..?" He showed them the picture he picked up "I'm going to look for my first best friend" he shut his eyes angrily before storming out

"Wait! Natsu!" Everyone shouted at him. It was that like that... No one had been Natsu nor Lucy in the pass 3 years

How was that? Should I make a new chapter? Cuz this is where I stopped in my notebook! I gave myself a cliff hanger! How could I do that to myself!?Lol. Let me know what you think! See yah later! Bye now!
