"Well come on boys we have some places we want to take you." Lucy said, as she grabbed a hold of Natsu's wrist and started to pull him towards the first place on the list, then Juvia did the same to Gray, and Erza didn't force Jellal to go anywhere.
"Ladies first." Jellal said bowing playfully to her and gestured for her to go first and she giggled a little and grabbed his hand and slowly pulled him with her.
Then on the other hand Levy tried to push on Gajeel's back and pull on his arms, except that he wouldn't budge.
"Why are you being difficult?" She questioned him, while putting her hands on her hips and stomped her foot like a child.
"You didn't ask." He said smirking to himself as he infuriated the shrimp of a girl.
"Will you please, move your ass?" She asked, smiling to herself as she shocked the mountain of a man.
"Fine." He said smirking to himself as he thought of an evil idea, Levy looked at him wondering what he was going to do. Then suddenly he took a hold of the girl's hips and placed her on his shoulders and started running after the group of people who were leaving them behind.
"What are you doing?" Levy yelled as she held onto his hands that were tightly on her thighs.
"Well you're so short I thought you would like to know what it's like to be tall for once." Gajeel told the girl on his shoulders. She slapped the top of his head and he slowed down as they neared the group.
"Hey! Be nice." He warned Levy.
"Or what?" She challenged him on, he looked up at her and smiled.
"Or else I might fall over from my feelings being hurt." He said as he side stepped and dipped at the same time, making Levy believe that he was going to fall with her on his shoulders.
"Don't do that." Levy demanded.
"What? This?" Gajeel asked and did it again in the other direction.
"Yes! That!" Levy said.
"Oh, yes, do that? Okay!" He said as he did again.
"No don't do that!" Levy said as she started laughing, she didn't really want to admit that she was enjoying Gajeel's goofy side.
"Aww! Look at how cute!" Lucy said, teasing the little bluenette, looking back at Levy and Gajeel mess around together.
"Says the girl who is holding a boy's hand!" Levy blurted out at her blonde friend. Lucy then looked down at her right hand to see that Levy was right, she was holding Natsu's hand from when she pulled him towards the path to go into town. Lucy quickly pulled her hand away, and blushed from embarrassment.
"You know you're kind of cute." Natsu told her while giggling and giving her a smile that could make anyone's heart melt, which only made Lucy blush harder.
"Umm, thank you." Lucy said, not knowing what else to say in response, which also made him giggle.
"Who's being cute now?" Levy teased her best friend.
"Shut up Levy!" Lucy yelled at her, which made everyone laugh at the flustered blonde. "You guys are suck!"
"Yes, but you love us anyway." Erza said leaning over to Lucy a bit bumping their shoulders together.
"I'm starting to rethink on that." Lucy said.
"Well we will always love you." Juvia said, and then they continued to walk along the path in a comfortable silence.
Once they reached the market the girls started walking around showing the boys the different stands and other small shops that were out for the day.
"Won't these shops be out again later?" Gray asked, more to Juvia then anyone else, and the other girls realized what was going on they shut up and let Juvia explain.
"Not really when we have festivals, which isn't very often, it's more food and games." Juvia told Gray.
"Even then only a few booths that are out right now, pull out their pieces that would most likely sell better than on just a regular day." Erza said.
"So no matter what we will have a have things to look at." Lucy said.
"Oh look!" Levy called and jumped off of Gajeel's shoulders and ran towards a booth farther up ahead, and everyone jogged a little to catch up with the short girl, who could surprisingly run.
"What is it Levy?" Lucy asked as she looked over the top of Levy since she was small enough.
"Trinkets!" Juvia said, sounding excited.
"Trinkets?" Natsu asked.
"Yeah look at all the good things that she found this time." Lucy said, as she stared at a gold key that was on a chain, while Juvia was looking at a necklace that had a silver cross on it, Erza was looking at a silver sword necklace, and Levy was looking at a silver necklace with a closed book hanging from it.
"Yes, although either humans have been more clumsy with dropping things in the water lately, or she's been going out farther then normal." Erza said.
"Who's 'she'?" Gray asked.
"'She' would be me." Said a voice from behind the stand, and there leaning against the wall on the other side of the booth was a tall slim girl with long brown hair.
"Boys this is Cana, she one of our Mages!" Juvia said.
"A Mage?' Jellal asked. "For what?"
"In case sharks happen to come in the area, our Mages will come straight back here and report it, then we wait and watch to see what they do." Erza said.
"That's actually what we were doing, when we found you." Lucy said.
"So you're all Mages as well?" Gajeel asked and the girls nodded.
"So you guys are leaving tomorrow right?" Cana asked the four boys that were in front of her, and the boys nodded in response. "Well then how about a free future reading?"
"Alright." They all agreed to it and Cana then lead them to a small tent right next to the stand.
"Okay boys take a seat this will only take a minute." Cana said grabbing a deck of Tarot cards, and shuffled them.
"So where do you find all those trinkets out there?" Gray asked.
"When I'm out scouting I often bring things back with me." Cana said sitting down at the table from the boys. "Now sit there and be quite!"
"Fine." The boys grumbled while can started laying out cards on the table. First was a card that had a man running from another man, but the man who was running was leaping into the arms of an Angel.
"You boys got in trouble with a very powerful man but was then saved at what was to be your last moments." Cana said drawing the next card. This one had the man following the angel. "You are all falling for those who have come to your aid." She drew the last card, on it there was the man turned away from the Angel and the Angel was on the ground covered in her own blood; Cana sat there staring at the card, scared for what it meant.
"Cana?" Gray said, wondering what was wrong.
"What does the card mean?" Jellal asked.
"I-It means." Cana started but stopped for a moment before continuing. "You will bring destruction to your saviors."
"Destruction? How?" Natsu asked, and by hearing this the boys were worried that what she was saying could be the truth.
"Could you be mistaken?" Natsu asked.
"I seriously doubt it." Cana said as she grabbed the three cards from the table and started to shuffle the deck again. "Let me try again." And so she shuffled the cards and laid them out once more, and there was no change.
"But we wouldn't do anything to hurt the girls." Gajeel said, as Cana looked up at them in fear.
"If we do, what this card says, then you must know that we would never do this on purpose." Gray said.
"Tomorrow when you leave, you must not return here." Cana said standing up looking down at the boys across from her. "Do you understand?" At first the boys didn't answer, but then nodded, not wanting to bring any harm to the girls or their people.
"We understand." They all said.
"Good, now put a smile on your faces and go out there." Cana said pointing to the opening of the tent and they followed her command, and when they walked outside the girls were standing there smiling.
"Well what lies ahead in your future?" Lucy asked them all at once.
"We can't tell you." Natsu told her.
"What? Why not?" She asked looking at him.
"Cause it's our secret." Natsu told her, and she stuck her bottom lip out as she pouted.
"Meanie!" Lucy said as she turned away from him, and he put his chin on her shoulder.
"I'm not trying to be mean, but isn't our fortune supposed to be for that one person to know?" Natsu asked the upset blonde.
"Well, yeah I guess." Lucy said sighing as she did.
"How about the next place?" Gray suggested.
"So soon?" Juvia asked.
"Well it seems that everyone is starting to set everything up." Gray said as he pointed down the road. "It might be best if we got out of the way."
"That's a good point." Erza said as she looked at the list Mirajane had given them, and then walked over to the girls and disgusted quietly which place to take the boys next.
"Okay." Levy said as the girls separated from their little meeting. "You boys ready to go?"
"Ready when you are." Gajeel said as the girls then lead them to the next destination; as they walked the boys all hanged in the back and talked among themselves.
"What are we going to do, about the fortune?" Natsu asked a bit worried about what will come to pass.
"Isn't it easy?" Gray asked. "We don't say anything and when we leave tomorrow, we never come back."
"It's not that simple." Natsu argued.
"Yes, Natsu, it is that simple." Gray said.
"Natsu's got a point." Gajeel said and Jellal nodded in agreeance.
"How? You heard Cana, we will hurt the girls and most likely most of Magnolia's people." Gray said, "I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to be responsible for that many deaths."
"Neither do I but, we should at least tell them." Jellal said pointing to the girls that were talking to themselves.
"And tell them what exactly? 'Hey, did you know that we might end up killing you?', I don't know about you but to me that sound's like a fucking retarded idea!" Grey said and the boys were silent for a while as they thought to themselves.
"This isn't going to be easy." Gajeel said.
"We're talking about fate here." Natsu said as he stared at the blonde haired beauty. "It's never, ever, going to be easy."
