He nodded, "my names Sting Eucliffe and I'm here from the Sabertooth-Fairy Tail exchange program to make the school's stronger!"

"Alright, Sting please take a seat next to Lucy," ms. Lyra said.

He looked and smiled at the blond, "sure thing."

He sat down, "sup Lu-Lu!"

"Stingy-Bee! You're here!" Lucy exclaimed.

Ms. Lyra fake coughed to get their attention and Lucy stifled a laugh, "sorry ma'am."

Lucy walked to her locker with Sting and Natsu bickering behind her.

"Pineapple so belongs on pizza!" Sting retaliated to whatever Natsu said.

"You're crazy if you eat pineapple on pizza!" Natsu practically yelled.

Lucy opened her locker, annoyed by the two's fighting.

"Pineapple was made for pizza!" Sting said back.

"That makes me want to vomit," Natsu said, shaking his head.

"Lucy!" They said, getting her attention.

She turned around, a murderous gaze in her eyes, "what?"

"Nothing!" They said quickly, hugging each other.

"Good," she said, putting her things away. "Now if you excuse me, I need to go home."

Lucy walked towards the door as Sting said, "tell Laxus I said hi!"

She nodded and went home.

Lucy opened the door to her apartment, "I'm home!"

Laxus walked out of the old spare that he claimed to be his, "sup Lucy."

"Sting said hi," Lucy told him, walking into the kitchen to grab a snack

'He's at FT? Why? Also why didn't bring him?" Laxus asked, really confused.

Lucy shrugged, "him and Natsu were bickering and it was annoying."

Lucy sat on her couch, scrolling through the TV channels, finding something to watch.

It was early winter and both Lucy and Sting had been at FTSA for a few months.

"BREAKING NEWS:" the news reporter shouted, getting Lucy's attention. She leaned forward in curiosity. "THE BAND 'ICE WATER' HAVE OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED THAT THEY ARE BREAKING UP THE BAND."

Lucy fell off the couch in surprise, "what!?"

"CLAIR BACK TO YOU," he said again and the camera turned to Clair the news reporter, who was sitting in the same room as Ice and Water.

"I'm here on the stage where Ice Water last preformed. Please, tell me why you've decided to let your fans down and break up the band?" 

"Er... well... I decided I needed a break from all this singing for now and finish my high school career before continuing on," Water told her, smiling.

Lucy sighed, "so their still a couple. Thank goodness."

"Also," Ice started off, sounding dismayed.

"No," Lucy said, worried. "Please don't say it!"

"We decided we needed to take a break from each other, maybe look for other... fish in the sea." Ice finished.

"And he said it," Lucy said. She took her phone out and sent a quick text to the girls group chat.

Lucy walked to Levy and hugged her, "they're over!"

She hugged her back over-dramatically, "what could've happened?"

"Would you two cut it out?" Laxus said, shaking his head.

Lucy and Levy let go and yelled, "shut up!"

Laxus put his hands up in surrender. 

Juvia walked towards them smiling, with Erza and Mira next to her.

"Why are you so happy, Juvia?" Lucy asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Juvia asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Ice and Water broke up! They are no longer singing and worse of all, they aren't even a couple anymore!" Levy yelled, sniffling.

"Maybe they had a reason to break up," Juvia said, her arms crossed. "Maybe Ice is actually a jerk!"

"Juvia," Erza said, putting a hand on her shoulder for reassurance, though for Juvia, it felt more like pity than anything. "Are you okay?" 

Juvia shrugged her off, surprising everyone, "I'm fine."

They stared at her in shock, this wasn't the warm and cuddly Juvia they all know! This Juvia was cold and broken, afraid of trusting people. The old Juvia always hugged someone and accepted kind gestures. 

The other boys walked up to the group. "Yo!' Natsu smiled.

He looked at them and saw their puzzled faces, "what's up?"

Lucy shook her head, "we'll talk later."

"Hey, um, Juvia?" Gray asked, his eyes falling to the ground.

"What?" Juvia said harshly. 

"Can we, er, talk? Please?" Gray asked, his eyes leaving the ground and looking into hers.

Juvia rolled her eyes, "what a waste of time."

She walked away, flipping her hair back.

"Juvia!" Gray said, running after her.

"Okay," Jellal said, "I can not be the only one who saw that."

"Nope," grunted Gajeel. "I'll see what's wrong."

Gajeel trudged towards them.

"I wonder what's wrong with poor Juvia," Wendy said, frowning.

Natsu put his hand on her head and smiled, "she's strong so I know she'll be fine."

"He's right, Wendy!" Romeo said. "Let's go to class now."

Wendy nodded and they went to class, Romeo comforting her. 

"Lucy!" Mira said, gripping her shoulders. "Our plan! It's ruined! We better fix this fast!"

Lucy's eyes widened, but then were set with determination, "we've got this!"

She turned to Laxus and smiled, "now lets go to class, Laxus!"

Laxus gave a small blush but nodded and went to class.

Juvia had been absent during lunch so they had went searching for her, going tin separate ways.

Lucy was alone when she passed the music room and heard someone singing in their.

"As great as that would be, what about school?" Lucy asked, shaking her head.

"Awe come on! We can skip school Lu-Lu! Please?" He gave her puppy dog eyes, something he knew she could never say no too.

Sting and Lucy were on their way to Sabertooth high, much to Laxus's dismay.

"Dude, we're so going to give them a heart-attack," Lucy said, imagining their faces as the seem them.

Sting laughed, "they'll die from shock!"

Lucy looked ahead and smirked, "race ya!"

Before Sting could even react, Lucy ran and left Sting to there.

"Not fair Lucy!" He yelled, chasing after her.

Lucy had made it to the school, out of breath from the running. She placed a hand on the wall for support and panted.

"Are you alright, miss?" A man asked her.

She turned around and smiled a the man in front of her.

He had jet black, messy hair, red eyes and about the same height as Sting.

"Lucy?!" He asked, his eyes widened at the sight of her.

"Rogue!" Lucy yelled, pouncing herself on him in a bear hug.

He hugged her back, smiling, "why didn't you bring Sting?" 

"I did, he's just a really slow runner," Lucy told him as they let go.

"Hey! I heard that," Sting said, jogging up to them. "And I'm not slow, I was going easy on you!"

"Sure~," Lucy sang, making her and Rogue laugh.

"I'm about to meet with Yukino in the schools garden, let's go," Rogue said and the two followed him.

Lucy zipped up her sweater as a gust of wing flew by, "why is winter coming?"

"Because that's how seasons work, dummy," Sting said, in a matter-of-fact tone.

Lucy rolled her eyes and punched him, "yeah no kidding."

"There's Yukino," Rogue said, pointing to a white haired girl, sitting by herself.

Lucy smiled deviously, "I'm gonna scare her."

She sneaked behind Yukino and put her hands on her shoulders, yelling, "boo!"

Yukino screamed at the top of her lungs making everyone jump back and stare.

Yukino turned around and sighed, "Lucy! You scared me!"

 Lucy giggled, "sorry! But it was just so funny! I couldn't help myself!"

Yukino shook her head and Rogue and Sting came up to the group.

"You've got some lungs, Yukino," Sting said, chuckling.

"I bet you'd scream louder if it were you," Yukino said, crossing her arms.

"Would not!" Sting said defensively.

"You know what, I think she's right. I think you would scream louder," Lucy said, tapping her chin.

"Oh yeah, he definitely would," Rogue agreed.

"You guys are so mean!" Sting said, pouting.

"But you love us," Lucy told him.

"Yeah yeah, whatever," Sting said back.

"Anyway..." Yukino said with a small giggle. "Sting, when are you coming back to Sabertooth?"

"Yeah, I don't think you told me yet either," Lucy added.

"That information is confidential!" Sting said, sparkling. "But for real, I can't say anything yet, but be prepared for the new semester."

Before anyone could say anything, a voice was heard calling Yukino's name.

"Oh! Minerva!" Yukino yelled, "over here!"

Minerva walked over, "oh Sting, you're here?"

"I am too, Minerva," Lucy said, waving slightly.

"Oh my goodness, I didn't see you there! I'm sorry!" She vocalized her thoughts. "Actually, that's not the only thing I should be apologizing for." She held Lucy's hands to make sure she knew that she really meant what she was about to say. "There are no words on this planet that could explain just how sorry I am for treating you like I did. There's no excuse. My father had always taught be to be mean to everyone and said kindness was a sign of weakness.

"I realize that it was wrong now and I promise I am changing, though it took some time, I am getting better. I don't expect you to forgive me, but I just wanted to say sorry."

Lucy smiled warmly at her and pulled her into a hug, surprising her, "it's okay Minerva. I forgive you."

Minerva hugged her back, shedding a few tears, "thank you, Lucy."

They broke apart and Lucy offered her a hand, "friends?"

Minerva shook it with a smile, "friends."
