We cut to see Natsu, Lucy, and Happy traveling across the country in search of their fellow guild mates so they can rebuild Fairy Tail.

But they don't know where they are and are going off on a few leads that Lucy picked up during the year the guild was disbanded.

Natsu had a bored look on his face, due to how long they had been walking for, that he was feeling really hungry.

Natsu: (groans) My belly is so sad and empty right now!

Happy: I guess I could give you some of my fish if you want?

Natsu: Not unless it's cooked.

Happy: Are you crazy? Fish is at its yummiest, when it's raw and slimy!

Lucy: (sweatdroping) I gotta wonder how many times I heard this exact same argument before. It's been a whole year since we've been together, but you guys somehow make it like no time has passed at all.

Natsu: Speaking of time, Lucy, are we there yet?

Lucy: (sighs) I think it's just a little bit farther.

As they are traveling, a giant boar appears in front of them. 

Lucy shrieks because of the sudden appearance, while Natsu was simply unfazed by the giant boar in front of them. 

Lucy: Whoa, that's huge! And so adorable! What is it?!

Happy: Wait, I think I know what kind of monsters this is! First, it lures people in with its fluffy fur, then it gobbles them up in a single bite!

The boar then shows its tusks and sharp teeth before it roars as Lucy freaks out and screams in fear.

Happy: Alright Natsu, it's time to roast this pig!

Natsu: (bored) I'm not feeling it.

Lucy: (scared) What did you just say?!

Happy: I heard that these things are supposed to be super tasty!

Natsu: Oh yeah? (grin) Come on then!

As the giant boar closes the distance, Natsu launches a punch and in the distance, a huge cloud of smoke was made while the boar roars in pain. Natsu was now on top of the giant boar while it was down.

Natsu: He's going in my belly pronto!

Happy: (looks at Lucy) So do you prefer your meat cooked or raw?

Lucy: SERIOUSLY?!?!?!

(short-timeskip) 

We cut back to Y/N and his group walking through the forest, while Matthew was complaining about his hungry state.

Matthew: (groans) Man, I'm starving here.

Y/N: We've only eaten for a few hours and you're already complaining? Get real, Matthew.

A: (look at Y/N) You forgot. He has an endless abyss for a stomach.

Y/N: You don't have to point out the obvious, A. How much further do we have until we've rendezvous with Guernica?

A: If I recall correctly, we were nearly there.

Y/N: Just a few more walking left, huh?

Matthew: Can we at least stop to eat before then? 

Y/N: Securing the Ouroboros Stone is our top priority. You can eat once we get the job done.

Matthew: (groan) Oh come on Y/N! My stomach is killing me here!

Y/N: (sighs in defeat) Fine. Let's get something to eat.

A then notice something off in the distance, it appeared to reptilian in nature, was on two legs and raptor-like feet, was wearing a metallic armor, had a pointed helmet with three visor in the shape of lines, had a scythe on his left armor and cannon armor on its right. It had a purple color to it.

A: What? (grabs both Y/N and Matthew, pulled them behind a tree)

Matthew: Hey what's the big deal?

A: Shh... (points at the creature) 

Soon, the creature was joined by another creature that looked very similar to it, but had a red color to it.

Purple Creature: Status report!

Red Creature: Scanners indicate some powerful energy readings at the other side of the forest. Could be Ourorobos.

Purple Creature: Contact the Great One and the other troopers. We hunt whatever this signal is!

Red Creature: Yes, sir!

Soon the red creature suddenly teleported with a red flash. While the purple one walked off toward the signal location.

Y/N: Powerful energy? You think it's the Ouroboros Stone?

A: No. The stone is sealed in a special container. It must be something else.

Matthew: Well whatever it is, we better go check it out. Come on.

Y/N: Right. No telling what they will do once they find out it's not the Ouroboros.

The Liberators followed the purple creature to the location of the energy source.

(With Natsu group)

The group had sent a campfire to cook the boar, which Natsu had defeated, as the boar cooked on. Both Natsu and Happy were looking at with stars in their eyes and drool coming out of their mouths.

Happy: It's gonna be so yummy!

Natsu: You bet it is! 

Lucy: (turns to them) I forgot how much you guys think with your stomach. (laughs)

Natsu: Hey, we don't think about food all the time you know!

Happy: Aye!

Natsu noticed something was off about Lucy.

Natsu: What's the matter? You're not hungry?

Lucy: No it's not that. It.... Just that last battle feels like it was forever ago.

Natsu/Happy: Hm/Huh?

Lucy: Against Tartaros.

As Lucy looks at the fire, a flashback of the battle against Tartaros starts to play, remembering how brutal and intense that fight was for everyone. 

Lucy: We'd never fought against anyone so powerful. (look at the sky) But still, we rose to the occasion and gave it everything we had.

Natsu: We did. And it sure wasn't easy.

He remembers both him and Gray's fight with Mard Gear, Zeref showing up and taking the book of E.N.D, and Acnologia returning and killing Igneel.

Lucy: (small smile) But we pulled it off, just like always.

Natsu: You're right.

Happy: (sad smile) But don't you guys think this whole thing is kinda unfair?

Lucy: What do you mean?

Happy: We scored a huge victory, and then Master Makarov went and broke up the Guild anyway.

Lucy: Yeah. I know he had his reasons for doing it, but still...

Happy: What?

Lucy: (smile) I never gave up on the dream that we'd all be together again. I know I said it before, but it's true. I'm so glad that we finally found each other. Now the three of us can go look for the other members. They're all out there somewhere.

Happy: HEY, WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!?! 

Lucy turned to see that Natsu and Happy were arguing once more as Natsu was holding a piece of the boar's legs above Happy.

Natsu: Sorry, Happy. But the legs are mine to eat!

Happy: Come on, big meany! Give me the legs, I can't take the tusks off these boar!

Natsu: Watch this!

Suddenly, Natsu swallowed the whole leg in his mouth making him look like a human hamster.

Happy: (screams) No! That's not right!

Natsu: (muffled) So good! Huh? (swallows the boar leg) You got a dot on your head.

Happy: Huh?

True to his word, a small red dot was on the center of his head. Then Natsu's ears perked up, having a weird sound.

Natsu: What's that sound? 

Soon a new sound appeared, it was a weird firing sound. With that sound, Natsu suddenly grabbed Happy, just missing the purple energy ball shot at the location where he was.

Natsu: Happy, are you alright?!

Happy: (nervous) I think so!

Lucy: Where did that come from?

Just then, the purple creature came out of the bushes.

Purple Creature: (points at them with his cannon arm) You three! Where is the Ourboros?! Give me it now!

Lucy: What is that thing?!

Natsu: Our what?

Purple Creature: (cocks his cannon arm) You know what I speak of! Now give it to me at once! Or be destroyed in the great and glorious name of Mobeius!

Happy: Who's Moebius?

Lucy: We don't know what you're talking about!

Purple Creature: So that's how it's going to be? Fine, then you shall perish! (charge his cannon)

Natsu: Not today! You freaky creature! (leaps at him) This is for trying to hurt Happy! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!

With that Natsu fist became engulfed in fire and soon struck the purple creature right in its helmet causing it to crack and break, while also sending the creature into a tree face first.

Purple Creature: What form of power is this?! (stands up) Is this the power of Ouroboros?

As soon as he finished standing up, he turned to them revealing his reptilian face to them, and opened his mouth sideways to growl at them.

Happy and Lucy: AHHH!!! 

Happy: It's a monster! 

Lucy: It's more like a lizard monster!

Natsu: What are you?!

Purple Creature: I am a Wave Beam Trooper soldier of the great Mobeius!! NOW PERISH!!!!!

The purple creature fired its plasma cannon at Natsu, who rolled out the way. Then leaped at him once more, but the creature slashed at him with his scythe arm, nicking him in the face while he quickly moved out of its path.

Lucy: Natsu!

She went to help, but was forced to the ground by a white colored version of the creature who had his scythe at her neck.

White Creature: Not so fast!

Happy: Lucy! Let her go!

Happy then summoned two angel like wings on his back and went to tackle the creature, but he was grabbed by his tail by another creature this time colored yellow.

Yellow Creature: I don't think so, kitty cat! (point his scythe at his neck)

Happy: (scared) Not good!

Purple Creature: Time to end you Ouroboros scum!

Natsu: (angry) Happy! Lucy! (turns to Purple Creature) I don't what you're talking about Lizard Face! Now release my friends or else!

White Creature: (point his cannon arm at Natsu) Don't play dumb! Plasma Trooper #356 detected your energy signature not too long ago!

Yellow Creature: Only an Ouroboros can have such powerful energy!

Purple Creature: If you won't give us it! Then we will force you! (turn to his allies) Ice Trooper #477! Power Trooper #322! End his friend's life!

Ice & Power Trooper: Yes, Commander Wave Trooper #100!

Soon the two brought their scythe up and then swung downard ready to end their lives.

???: Oie! Over here, you alien reptiles!

Wave Trooper: What?! Who dares to get in our way!

Suddenly, Matthew jumps out of the bushes and delivers a punch at the Wave Trooper's face.

Matthew: Me, that's who!

Ice Trooper: What?

A flashed out the bushes as well and sliced the Ice Trooper's head clean off, while backflipping toward the Power Trooper's and then slicing both of his arms clean off too.

Power Trooper: ARGHHHHH!!! YOU LITTLE SHIT!!!

The Power Trooper's body was sliced in half.

Y/N: Slimming freaks! I swear you killed one Beam Trooper, two more takes it place! 

A: Moebius does have an army of them, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Y/N: Again with stating the obvious A. (turns to Lucy with his hand) You okay?

Lucy: (blushes a bit) Umm... Yeah, (takes his hand) thank you.

Y/N pulls her up, but accidentally pulls her close to his face. The two stare at each other while blushing at the same time.

Y/N: (blush) Sorry about that. (thoughts) Whoa! She's absolutely gorgeous!

Lucy: (blush) No, it's alright. (thoughts) Oh my god! He's so handsome and hot!

A looked at this with an irritated look on her face.

A: (thoughts) Why is this irritating me so much?

The Wave Trooper got up once more and looked at the sight before him. All while growling.

Wave Trooper: How dare you! You backwater pieces of stupidity! You dare kill the great soldiers of the Divine One?!?!

Matthew: Yeah, so what? We've dealt with your kind plenty of times before! Now you better scram before we put you in the dirt where you belong!

The Wave Trooper soon began to laugh at them with an insane tone to it.

Wave Trooper: Why should I? When I know that a Great One is on his way!

Matthew: Alrighty then! Don't say I didn't warn ya!

But before Matthrew could strike him, Natsu did it for him.

Matthew: Hey!

Natsu: That guy was mine!

Matthew: Yours? I was gonna pummel him up!

Natsu went over to Matthew and pushed his forehead up against him.

Natsu: He attacked me first, so he was mine to deal with!

Matthew: Yeah, and I saved your life! Is this how you thank people?!

Natsu: Normally I would! But you tried to steal my fight!

Matthew: I wasn't stealing your fight, aight?!

Natsu: (angry) Yes you were!

Matthew: (angry) No I wasn't!

Natsu: (angry) Yes, you were!

Matthew: (angry) No, I wasn't!

Y/N: (sweatdrop) This is new. I didn't know Matthew would argue with someone before.

A: Well, he does have a low I.Q. Therefore there was a chance of this happening.

Y/N: True.

Lucy: Hmmm. Excuse me, but who are you guys? What were those creatures that attacked us? And what was that thing they wanted? Something called Ouroboros?

Y/N: Right. First off: I'm Y/N, and these are my partners, Matthew and A. 

Happy: (curious) A? Is that short for something?

Y/N: (shrugs) I don't know, that's how she calls herself.

A: Going back, (points to the Troopers) those creatures were part of a group called Moebius. All of the soldiers they have are monsters that were genetically modified into those forms. Those were a part of the Moebius Beam Trooper faction. One small group that makes up their vast armies.

Lucy: Moebius? I never heard of that group before.

Y/N: Trust me, they're the worst sort of people. As for the Ouroboros? Well, you can say that's what me, Matthew, and A represent. Sort of a light version to counteract the darkness of Moebius. They do whatever they want! For example, taking innocent creatures and turning them into (points to the Troopers) that!

Happy: Really?!

Lucy: But what did he mean by "Great One" was on his way?

A: He is referring to the leader of Moebius.

Happy: What does he look like?

???: Like me.

They turned to see something that looked like a living nightmare. It was a tall purplish figure that had a demon looking body. It had two horns that were bent backward, reddish eyes, a mouth of sharp teeth, various spikes over his body, a pair of two orbs with a weird symbol, and a circle around his body.

???: Well well! What do we have here? A bunch of little flies flying around? Hmmmm. (looks at the Troopers) Seems a party happened here! Any chance it's still going on?

Lucy: What the heck is that?!

Y/N: Moebius! 

Moebius: So you know what I'm? You must be the rats that have the Ouroboros? (shows off his sharp teeth with a grin) Goodie, I need a little playtime!

Matthew: Yeah? Well we're gonna send you back to where you belong, big guy!

Moebius: Hahahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I just love it when they fight back! (point to them) It makes me so glad to see such brave faces. I wonder how long you'll have them when I rip out your still beating hearts and eat them?

A: I suggest you three stay back. We'll take care of him. 

Natsu: (punches his fist into his palm) No way! I never back away from an opponent!

Y/N: Don't even think of fighting that thing! It's too powerful for you only to handle!

Moebius: Let him try! I love it when something tries to face me thinking they can win! It brings me joy to wipe their smiles off their faces!

Natsu: Gladly! (jumps into the air)

Natsu jumped up into the air and brought out his leg while also igniting it in fires, and aimed for the Moebius head.

Natsu: Fire Dragon Claw!

The Moebius allowed the attack to hit him head on, as Natsu struck him with all his strength, causing a mini explosion to block the Moebius head. Natsu smirked before it fade to surprise as the Moebius didn't have a scratch on him. 

Moebius: (surprised) Ohhhh! You're a Dragon Slayer? Hmmm. I think I will allow him to have you! After all, he doesn't have a Dragon Slayer in that little thing of his.

Natsu: Huh?

Y/N: (turns to Lucy) He has a habit of not listening to people don't he?

Lucy: You have no idea.

Moebius: (grabs Natsu by the head) Yes! I'm sure he will be pleased by your strength! What's your name, little rat?

Natsu: (struggles) The name's Natsu Dragneel, bub!

Moebius: Ohhhhh! Natsu Dragneel huh? Well, he will be REALLY pleased by you! I never thought he would actually do it! I guess that fool was a much bigger fool than we thought!

Y/N: Let go of him!

Moebius: I'm afraid I don't listen to lesser beings than myself! (looks at Natsu) And besides I cannot let this another prize of mine slip out my hands!

Y/N jumps out and slashes at the Moebius' hand, making him drop Natsu.

Moebius: (grasp at his hand) YOU LITTLE RAT!!!! How dare you scratch ME!!! (brings together his hands and smashes the ground) 

Y/N avoids the hands as Matthew delivers a punch at the Moebius' face with his gauntlet. A followed up with multiple slashes to his chest.

Moebius: Damn you cockroaches! (thrust out his palms) Fear my power!!!

The Moebius palms were then surrounded by a dark purple ring and fired multiple dark purple spears at the group, forcing them to dodge them as they exploded on contact.

Lucy: Whoa! That's some power!

Happy: Aye!

Moebius: YES!!! Rain my spears! RAIN!!!

The Moebius thrust his palms upwards as soon more rings appeared in the sky and unleashed more spears like there were raindrops.

Y/N: Oh crap! (grabs Lucy in a bridal carry) Scatter!

Everyone avoids the purple spears which explode when they make contact with the ground. The Moebius thrust his arms out in front of him.

Moebius: (chuckles) Hahahahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! YES!!! MORE!!!! LET IT BURN!!! LET IT ALL BURN!!!!!

???: You idiot! You'll burn us both!

Moebius: (annoyed) Shut it! Let me enjoy my fun!

???: Your fun has allowed them to escape!

Moebius: What?

He looked around for the group but saw nothing but flames and ashes.

???: (angry) I told you to let me be the one in control! But you wanted to play with the lesser! Well look at you done now!

Moebius: Bah, no matter. The Ouroboros stone is nearby, let's go after it before they do.

???: Very well! But what do you want to do about that Fire Dragon Slayer? And his connection to the stupid Black Fool?

Moebius: What? Are you scared of him or something?

???: Don't be ridiculous! But he could prove to be a good tool. What would the Black Fool do if he saw him as one of the Soldiers in the war? After all, he did to bring him back only to see him as a soldier with a time limit on his life. 

Moebius: Oh yes. I'm sure the boss is going to be very pleased about this.

(with Y/N) 

After running for 10 minutes, the group got a good distance between them and the Moebius.

Y/N: Everyone okay?

Lucy: I think so... But could you let me down? One of your hands is on my butt.

Y/N: What?

Y/N looked down at Lucy still in a bridal hold and did in fact see one of his hands was gasping her butt.

Y/N: (blush) I-I-I'm sorry, (let's her down) I didn't mean too...

Lucy with a blush on her face quickly turned away from him.

Lucy: (blush) I-I-I-It's alright. After all, you did help us escape.

Y/N: No problem.

Suddenly, they heard a smack and turned to A to holding the handle of her sword against Natsu's head.

A: You really are both reckless and stupid, you know that?

Natsu: (holding his head in pain) Owww! What's that for?

A: For being an idiot. Why did you listen to that Moebius and not us? You'd been killed by him if we didn't interfere.

Natsu: Well I wasn't, and besides he said something about me being giving to someone. (think about that) Hey? What did he mean by that anyway?

Happy: Beats me. You think it has something to do with your magic?

Lucy: Well, he mentioned something about an event as well. Well at least from what I figured out by what he said. (hold her hand against her chin) It baffles me. (turns to Y/N) Do you know what he meant?

Y/N: Can't say I haven't.

Matthew: Neither can I. These Moebius do tend to get whatever they want.

A: Don't change the fact that (pokes Natsu in the chest) YOU attacked him when he clearly had the advantage!

Natsu: What advantage?! He was wide open!

A: He had one, because I've seen a Moebius tank normal attack like it was made of the strongest steel there is! While you may be strong, you are still weak when it comes to facing Moebius!

Natsu: Hey! I took down tougher bad guys than that freak!

A: Well, I've heard that the one in charge of them makes even the Black Dragon and the Black Mage afraid of them!

Lucy: What?! Zeref and Acnologia are afraid of the leader of Moebius?!

Y/N: Yeah! From what I've heard both of them faced him in different moments of history and if the rumors are true then...

Happy: Then what?

Y/N: (sigh) Ran away the first chance they got. With their tails firmly between them.

Natsu: Seriously?

A: Unfortunately it's true.

Matthew: It's scary to think that the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse ran away, isn't it? That beast destroys a lot of people and places. But one guy can make him turn tail ain't it?

Lucy: That sounds terrifying. 

Y/N: Yeah. By the way, what are you three doing out here anyway?

Natsu: We're searching for our friends, we're gonna revive Fairy Tail.

Y/N, A, and Matthew: Fairy Tale?

Happy: No, "Fairy Tail" with the il at the end.

Y/N: What's that?

Lucy: It's the strongest guild in Fiore. Well, it was until our master disbanded it a year ago.

Matthew: Why would he do that? I mean you were the strongest guild if you say so.

Lucy: I don't know, he didn't tell us. But I'm sure he had a reason for doing it.

A: Well where are you going?

Lucy: We were heading to the southeast. Surely, we can turn up some leads in Marguerite. That's where Lamia Scale's Guild hall is.

Y/N: Marguerite? (turns to A) Isn't that the place where we are going?

A: (nods) Yes. That is where we were supposed to meet up with Guernica. 

Y/N: Well talk about a fate chance. (turns to them) How about we join up? Besides, if that Moebius finds you guys, you need our help.

Natsu: Really? Thanks guys.

A: Just promise us you won't go charging in like last time.

Natsu: Hey!

Y/N: Well let's head out. Before that Moebius catches up to us.

Natsu: Yeah. By the way, I'm Natsu Dragneel. And this is my friend Happy.

Happy: Aye.  

Lucy: And my name is Lucy Heartfilla. (smiles at Y/N) Nice to meet you.

Y/N: Nice to meet you too.

Lucy: By the way, thanks for the save. I really am thankful for it!

Y/N: Of course.

A: Shall we?

Matthew: Yeah, let's get going.

With that the group took off towards their destination. Not knowing what was lying in wait for them. For the group would soon come in contact with a vile war.
