Natsu POV

I woke up early the next day to smell pancakes. I walked out of mine and Romeo's room to find Alex, Lucy, Erza, and Levy all in the kitchen making pancakes. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked tiredly. Lucy looked back and replied,"We're making breakfast. That and we wanted to see if you guys wanted to go to the beach with us." I mouthed Oh and sat at the bar.

"Yeah, I heard there was a wake board competition going on, so we figured you guys would wanna sign up," Levy said placing a plate of pancakes infront of me. "Yeah, We'll have to get the rest of them up, though," I told them. Erza and Alex smirked,"Just leave that to us." They made a few more plates of pancakes and then Erza went to Jellal and Gray's room, and then Alex walked towards Laxus and Gajeel's room.

"I think I'll go wake up Romeo," Levy said walking that way,"so he won't have to deal with Alex and Erza's wrath." Lucy and I nodded and dug into our pancakes. "So are you gonna sign up for the wake board competition?" Lucy asked me. I thought about it, then I started to turn green,"I'm not so sure about that." I would sooo love to try and wake board, but knowing my motion sickness will get the best of me.

"Maybe Wendy could use Troias on you long enough for you to particapate," Lucy thought outloud. "Oh yeah! I forgot Wendy could heal me," I said brightening up some,"Okay, then I'll sign up for it." Lucy jumped up and down excitedly,"Yay! I hope you win, Natsu!" I widened my eyes in suprise,"R-Really?"

She stopped jumping, realizing what she just said,"Oh, uh, I mean.......Cool! I'll be rooting for you." She chuckled nervously, and blushed a shade of red darker than Erza's hair. I laughed inside of my head. She is so cute when she blushes. Wait, what?!

THUMP..........BANG..........CRASH...... "DON'T TRY GOING BACK TO SLEEP GRAY!!" BAM.....THUMP.........."GAJEEL!!! GET UP!!" Me and Lucy sweat dropped and Lucy said,"They should've gotten up." Levy and Romeo came in, holding back laughters. "Them poor souls," Romeo said.

"Are you gonna sign up for the wake board competition,Romeo?" I asked the mage tearing up a plate of pancakes. He stopped eating to answer,"I'm not that good of a wake boarder. I can surf though." I nodded and went back to eating. After a few more minutes of eating, yelling and beating, Erza and Alex walked out of the rooms and came back into the kitchen.

"They said they'll sign up," Alex said, flipping her hair out of her face. Geez they are scary, I thought. Then Alex kicked me in the shin. "Ooowwww!! What was that for?" I asked holding my leg. "For calling me scary," was all she said and she dug into her pancakes. "Wendy, Mira and Juvia all went down to the beach so that we can get a good spot. There's gonna be a huge crowd for the wake board competition," Erza said washing dishes,"We still have to get ready, so you guys can get ready and we'll head down there in 20 minutes."

"Alright. Can someone go sign us up for the wake board competition ?" Gray asked limping out of his room. "I'll go. I'm ready to go anyways," Lucy said. "Are you sure?" I asked worriedly. She gave me her reassuring smile,"Of course. It's no big deal." I didn't want Lucy alone at the beach, so I did something to reassure myself."Can I go with you?" I asked Lucy, who was walking to the door. She froze and turned around with a light blush,"Y-yeah, go get ready. I'll be in the hallway." With that she walked out of the hotel room and I went to go change into a shirt and my swim trunks.

I walked out and every one was now eating pancakes. "Who all is signing up for the competition?" I asked before heading to the door. Laxus, Gray, and Gajeel raised their hands. Then Alex shot her hand up. "I wanna do it, too," she yelled before I closed the door.

"Ready?" Lucy asked leaning against the wall. I nodded and we jogged down the hall to the elevator.

(Time skip)

I signed my, Gajeel's, Laxus', and Gray's name and Lucy put Alex's name on the sign up sheet at the life guard stand. "There. Do you wanna go find Mira and the others?" Lucy asked smiling. "Yeah, lets go," I said. "Hey, Lucy," the familiar voice called from behind us. We turned to see Lucas jogging up the beach in nothing but his swimsuit. Showing his built body. "You," I mumbled. "Hey Lucas! Havn't seen you lately," Lucy said not noticing my comment.

"Yeah, I kinda had to get this checked out," He said holding up his three taped fingers. "Oh my, what happened?" Lucy asked. Lucas glanced at me then said,"Lets just say I was playing with fire." I knew what he meant, and thank you Alex. "Okay?" Lucy said confused,"Are you gonna watch the wake board competition?"

"Actually, I'm gonna be in the competition," Lucas said smirking. "Well, the guys are gonna be in it, too," Lucy said pointing at me.
I was trying my hardest not to rip Lucas apart, but what he did next made me furious. "Well, I bet I'll beat them all. I won last year sooo. Hey that reminds me I need to ask you something later," Lucas said. That's it. I'm gonna beat his ass into next year.

"O-okay," Lucy said and her cheeks turned pink. I grabbed her wrist and started dragging her away,"Come on. Everyone is probably worried." I tried hiding my anger, but it's kinda hard when I'm so angry. "Hey Nat-" Alex was saying, but she stopped to read my mind,"I told him not to." She directed the last thing to Mira. Mira nodded and looked at everyone who was participating,"Is everyone ready?"

Gray, Laxus, and Gajeel nodded."Wendy can you cast your Troias spell on me for the competition?" I asked Wendy who was sitting with Romeo on a beach blanket. "Sure Natsu,"she replied cheerfully and came over to do the spell. Wendy finished when the first few people went. I noticed that Jellal and Erza weren't here. "Hey where's Jellal and Erza?" I asked.

Mira and Alex smirked and chuckled evily."They're a little busy," Mira said. I didn't bother to go into detail. Some one came over the loud-speaker,"Up next is last years winner, Lucas Taiga!"

(Random last name)

Everyone cheered except for us, and when I say "us" I mean the guys. After his run he got a score of 8-7-9 which gave him a total of 24. He looked over at us and mouthed, top that. The person on the loud-speaker came on again,"Next is Alex Dragneel." Alex smirked and walked foward,"I got this bitches." Everyone sweat dropped."Whats up with her?" Romeo asked. "I dunno, I'm not a mind reader like her," I said.

Alex's run was almost a perfect score, she got 10-9-9, or 28. "Gray Fullbuster, your next," said the person over the loud-speaker. Gray walked toward the beach line,"Wish me luck."

"Juvia will always wish Gray-sama luck!" Juvia yelled. I oughta laugh my head off, Gray's score was 7-6-5, or 18. "Gajeel Redfox is up next," the person said. Gajeel got the same score as Alex, which she wasn't to happy about. "We need a tie breaker," Alex said, obviously irratated with the fact that Gajeel had the same score. "Uh-uh. No way am I doing a tie breaker with you. Last time you demanded a tie breaker, you almost killed Wendy," Gajeel said pointing at Wendy.

"Bitch do I look like I care? I.want.a.tie.breaker," Alex said in his face.

Lucy POV

"Next up, Laxus Dreyar," the person on the loud-speaker said. Everyone has done a good job so far, Alex sent Gajeel to the hospital because of their tie breaker. Laxus got the score of 9-9-9, 27. Luckily he didn't tie with Alex, Mira would've killed Alex in a heart beat. "Last, but certainly not the least, Natsu Dragneel," the person said. "ALRIGHT I'M ALL FIRED UP!!" Natsu yelled and ran towards the board.

Natsu did his run, which was amazing! He acts like he has been wake boarding forever. The judges talked it over and gave Natsu all 10's! "Wow! We have a new winner, Natsu Dragneel!" The person yelled through the loud-speaker. Everyone cheered and Natsu came back over to us. "That was awesome!" I yelled high-fiving him.

"Thanks, Luce," he said. "I had no idea you could wake board so well," Happy said flying around our heads. Today was pretty fun. I'm suprised he beat Lucas, but I had complete faith that Natsu would beat him.

Oh, yeah. I forgot about Lucas needing to ask me something. "How about we watch a movie at our room?" Mira asked packing everything up. "Yeah, sounds good," Laxus said. "You guys go ahead. I'll meet you there," I said running the opposite direction. "Where're you going, Luce?" Natsu called after me. "I'm going on a walk, I'll see you guys in a little bit okay?" I said. He didn't look convinced, but then nodded.

I ran towards the direction where I last saw Lucas. Little did I know that I was making a huge mistake.

This chapter done. Yay! So, I bet your wondering what the mistake is. Well lets just say that the next chapter is gonna be just one big DRAMA BOMB. There may be some romance, but ALOT of Drama. What happened to Jellal and Erza? What did Mira and Alex do?
