Hey guys. I hope you enjoy this chapter. Geez I feel terrible. I'm stuffed up with allergies, my left eyes swollen, and on top of that I have volleyball work outs all summer. Sooooo I feel like I just fell off a cliff, then turned around and got hit by a bus. I hope you guys feel better than I do. 😷

Any ways, a side note. If you think the title is leading on something romantic, you are slightly right, but tht isn't exactly the case.

Lucy POV

Once we got back to the room, it was already lunch. (Major time skip tho) We ate lunch, talked some more, and then we started taking showers. We all helped with eachothers make-up and hair, and got dressed. I hope I don't look too bad.

{{{{{Guys Room third POV}}}}}

The guys were waitng out in the hall, all well dressed in their suits. All of them were getting impaitent. "Geez girls take forever to get ready," Natsu said. "All they have to do is put on a dress put a little make up on and get shoes on. What else could they be doing that makes them take longer?" Gajeel asked.

After his statement, the girls came out one by one. They stared at them in awe. Then Gajeel leaned to Natsu's ear and whispered,"Nevermind." Natsu nodded in agreement and went to Lucy. "You look amazing, Luce," Natsu said, grabbing a hold of her hand.

"You clean up nicely yourself, Natsu," Lucy said giving him her own signature smile. Natsu grinned back at her. They all complimented eachother on how they look and then Mira came to the front. "Ok! Is everyone ready and have what they need?" no one replied,"Alrighty then, let's go!"

While everybody started to walk away, Alex stuck towards the back.

Flash Back....

As Alex and Haruniki made their way to the eating competition, Haruniki brought up the subject of the ball.

"So, if this is alright, then we can meet up on the dance floor, right in the middle," he told the dragon slayer beside him. Alexed look at Haruniki and said,"Sounds romantic. Okay, we'll do that."

As Alex wrote her name down on the clipboard and made her way in the crowd, she noticed Haruniki wasn't following. "Hey. What is it?" Haruniki fidgeted with his hands,"I can't go in there."

Alex looked confused. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Well, like I told you at the arcade, I highly doubt Natsu has gotten over what I did." Alex closed her eyes and counted numbers so she wouldn't explode.

"Look, if you havn't realised it, you and Natsu are going to run into each other sometime. He can get over it. Natsu can't do anything to you as long as you're with me. Lucy is understanding and knows that you didn't mean any harm, you were just blinded from the truth of the situation. But you and Natsu are gonna have to make up sometime or another, and now is better than never," Alex said with slight irratation.

After a slight moment of silence, an announcer came over a loud speaker and called all of the contestants to the stage. "I'll see you later," Alex said walking off.

End of Flash Back.....

Alex sighed and thought Maybe I sounded a little too bitchy. She shook off the thought when Erza and Juvia called for her to catch up.

This resort has a HUGE Ballroom! How can they fit a Ballroom in here?! The left side of the room was lined with tables for everyone to sit at, and on the right was an orchestra playing music and a long table full of food. "I can tell where all of the guys will be most of the time," I mumbled.

I pushed aside that fact, and made my way to the middle of the dance floor. There were many people dancing and having a good time, and there were so many couples. I finally found Haruniki and we began to dance.

((((Quick run through the night))))

Everybody had danced, so now they were all off on their own. They all sat down at a big table, talked and had fun. Natsu and Haruniki finally ran into each other, but it wasn't the outcome you'd expect. Natsu was ok with what happened, but was very protective of Lucy when he was around.

Natsu POV

As the night carried on, Lucy was starting to act funny. She was laughing randomly and when she tried to walk, she couldn't walk straight. I looked at the others and noticed they saw it, too. She drank another sip of her drink.

"L-luce? Are you feeling alright?" I asked. She smiled like and idiot and slurred,"Never better, Pinkie!"
Everybody sweatdropped, especially me. Thats when the smell hit me. "Lucy what have you been drinking?"

"Hmmm. The person who gave it to me said it was tea, and it is delicous tea", she said as she took another sip of her "tea". I sighed knowing that someone ruffied her. "Alright, Luce. I think it's time for us to go back to the room," I said picking her up bridal style.

Her face lit up,"Oh, what're we gonna do there?"

"We are going to sleep," and as soon as we got in the elevator, Lucy was already asleep. "You are gonna have a huge hangover tomorow."
