"What happened with the last two trials?" I asked Yinsh with narrowed eyes.
Yinsh smiled and threw out his arms.
"You are staring at one of them." Yinsh said and laughed.
"I have to defeat you?" I said and rolled my eyes.
He nodded.
"Or els you won't get your friend back." He said and laughed.
"Lucy, don't tru-" Natsu screamed at me but Yinsh turned harshly around and swiped his hands. Tape appeared out of nowhere and covered Natsu's mouth.
Natsu started to scream in protest.
"Natsu!" I screamed and started to run.
"Lucy! No!" Yanga screamed behind me but it was too late.
Yinsh appeared in front of me with a grin.
I gasped and screamed as I blindly searched for a key on my keychain, forgetting that I left them at Fairy Tail, but Yinsh's fist struck my face before I even had the chance off realizing it.
A bone in my face cracked horribly and I screamed in pain as I was thrown all across the battlefield. As I struck the ground, the scenery changed and rocks, gravel and asphalt appeared under me and a clear sky shone up the battlefield with a red sun. The cross was now attached to the ground, and not flying in the air.
I struck the ground a couple of times before I started to roll on the ground and then stopped next to Yanga.
My face was torn and bloody, as well as my arms and legs.
My vision was shaky and I slowly brought my hands on the ground, the wave of pain striking me like lightning. I looked up at Natsu, breathing heavily, and saw his horrified facial expression.
"Stupid girl." Yinsh said and laughed. "Did no one ever teach you that being reckless is the worst thing in battle."
I hissed and got up to my knees.
"Yinsh you bastard!" Yanga hissed and a scythe appeared in her hand.
Yinsh's smile widened.
"Yanga, my dear, finally our battle has begun." Yinsh said and brought his hands in front of his face.
Yanga took off and jumped in the air. She swung her scythe and Yinsh caught it between his palms. Yanga screamed in frustration while Yinsh smiled. Yanga did a backflip and landed on her knee and took off again.
I looked with wide eyes as Yinsh muttered something and Yanga fell face forward down on the ground. The ground crumbled beneath her and Yanga was screaming. Cuts and blood appeared on her skin and Yanga soon found a opening and jumped at him and swung her scythe. Her scythe sliced a pair of hair strand on his bangs as he moved backwards, avoiding it. Yanga's eyes was on fire as she continued to swing her scythe back and forth to hit Yinsh.
Yinsh dodged left and right with his head to not get his head sliced off his shoulders. He soon stopped and ducked. Yanga gave out a cry in surprise as he ducked and Yinsh brought his fist backwards and then forward. A wave of air soared through the air as he struck Yanga. Yanga flew backwards and struck the ground a couple of times before she stopped, laying on her stomach. Yinsh appeared in front of her and was about to hit her with his fist but I took off, despite my body screaming in protest. I jumped into Yinsh and I, with Yinsh, struck the ground. I stopped a few feet away from him.
"Damn you, Lucy heartfilia!" Yinsh cursed as he got up.
I got up and drew my whip.
I took off and swung my whip back and forth.
Yinsh dodged it and gave me a look of anger.
"Do not forget who rules in this book." Yinsh said and swiped his hands.
The whip started to glow red and I screamed in surprise as it turned around and attacked me instead.
It wrapped itself around my body and tightened it's grip.
Vines appeared out of nowhere and went through my ankles and arms. I screamed in agony, as blood splattered on the ground. The holes from the vines was hurting and powerful waves of pain slapped me in the face.
I fell to my knees and I could hear Natsu scream through the tape.
A vine emerged In front of me and was going for my forehead.
I closed my eyes and waited for it, but it never came.
I opened my eyes and found the vine frozen right when it was about to go through my forehead.
The whip loosened and dropped lifeless to the ground. I sighed in relief and looked to my right. Yanga was standing with her foot on Yinsh's head. Yinsh was laying facedown on the ground.
"Yanga!" I exclaimed in relief.
"Go and get Natsu! This might be your only chance!" Yanga told me.
I nodded and stood up, despite the pain in my ankles and arms. I stumbled but found my footing. I started to run at Natsu that was as pale as a ghost.
I smiled in relief and hope dwelled inside me.
I stopped In front of the cross and started to undo the Ropes that had turned from shackles to rope when Yinsh was hit.
I, before I started to undo his ropes on his arms, took of the tape from his mouth.
"Lucy." He choked and his eyes fell on the blood and holes on my body. "You are bleeding!"
My smile widened.
"I'm fine Natsu." I replied and started to undo the last rope.
He landed on the ground in front of me and hugged me.
A small blush appeared on my cheeks but I hugged him back.
"It's nice too see you again." I said.
"I knew you could do it." He replied and smiled as he looked down on me.
I heard Yanga scream and turned around.
Yanga was thrown to the ground as Yinsh got up, looking furious.
"Lucy heartfilia! Prepare to die!"
I smiled at him.
"Not today, Yinsh, Not today." I replied.
"I'm all fired up!" Natsu said and cracked his knuckles in his palm as he grinned.
I knew that now, with Natsu by my side, we would be able to bring Yinsh Down.
