It all started with a bet. Or it all started by his boasting. Which ever it was, Gray Fullbuster was now dealing with a weeping Juvia while trying to keep his laughter in. It was very difficult.

     Barely 10 minutes earlier, Gray was talking about how Juvia praised him and listened to him on everything. It's not that he was making fun of the talented water mage but more like talking about her personality. Natsu, or Flamebrain as he put it, bet Gray 100 jewels that the ice mage couldn't convince Juvia that he was pregnant. Being the egotistic guy, or stupid as Natsu put it, he was, agreed. Lucy burst out laughing, saying no one would fall for that, but Gray boasted again saying that he could convince her and stalked off to find the happy-go-lucky Juvia.

     It wasn't hard since she was never far from him ,which he liked although he wouldn't admit it, and put on a straight face. "Juvia," he said in a serious tone. Immediately, Juvia turned around and with a genial grin and gave her usual sing-sing tone of "Gray-Sama!"

   Trying not to let anything slip past through his façade, he continued while staring her straight in the eye. "I need to tell you something important."

     Juvia's eyes lit up and a blush coated her pale cheeks. "Juvia will listen closely, Gray-sama." Unknown to the ice mage, fantasies rolled around in her head of what he would say. A confession? A question? But before her imagination got too wild, a firm, cool hand grasped her shoulders tightly, bringing her back to Earthland.

    Squeezing her shoulders, Gray made sure to take a pause for effect, or to make sure he wouldn't start laughing, before speaking. In the back of his mind, guilt flowered as he thought of what would happen to their friendship? Sure, he played pranks when he was younger, but never to Juvia. Would she make a fuss, or would she run away? Gray didn't want to think about it anymore. 100 jewels were on the line for this, and he definitely didn't want to pay Droopy-eyes 100 jewels. So Gray put his focus on the task at hand. "I'm pregnant," he shouted.

     It was silent. Then there was screaming. Screaming from the bombastic water mage. For the first time, Gray had to admit that he was overwhelmed, and that doesn't happen often. "WHO IS GRAY-SAMA WITH? IS IT LOVE-RIVAL?" Juvia gave a murderous glare at the Celestial mage, who slowly sank down from her seat in annoyance. Taking a deep breath, she continued her interrogation. "IS JUVIA NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR GRAY-SAMA? SINCE WHEN WERE YOU DATING SOMEONE? THE LEAST YOU COULD HAVE DONE WAS TELL JUVIA!"

    While the ranting went on, the whole Guild was watching the fiasco with enjoyment. Never before had the former Phantom Lord mage get so emotionally dramatic. She did have her moments, but this was by far the biggest and best scene, and everyone were enjoying themselves.

   Gray, however, had the biggest smile on his face. That seemed to snap Juvia out of her outburst, and she immediately shut her mouth shut. Tears welled up in her eyes and the guild was completely silent as they anticipated what was going to happen next.  When the dam broke and the waterworks started, laughter boomed so loudly that all of Magnolia could hear it. However, a certain mage didn't join in the laughter, for he was trying to process that he now owed his rival 100 jewels. But maybe it was worth it. An amazing performance just happened and he too joined in on the laughter.

     Meanwhile, the star of the show had her arms around the ice mage, bawling her eyes out. With his pants currently getting soaked, Gray patted Juvia's head in attempt to calm her down while struggling to keep his laughter in. His efforts were futile and he too started laughing. This crazy bet went perfectly, in two ways. He got 100 jewels and Juvia doesn't seem to hate him. Gray never thought Mondays were good days until now.
