Was it really that insane to feel replaced?

After being killed by her own brother, accidentaly ofcourse and she would never blame him for it, she'd learnt to live with the pain.

But coming back from Edolas, seeing how close her childhood friend was with his beautiful blonde partner, made something squirm in her stomach.

It wasn't that she hated Lucy. She actually enjoyed the cheerful girl's company quite a bit, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the way her pink haired buddy looked at her.

She often caught him staring at her.

He studied her face in great detail, taking in everything about her, but only Lisannna seemed to notice it.

She managed to get him alone once. When he was so shit-faced he couldn't walk properly.

He whispered "I'm sorry" in her ear as they reached his house.

"For what?"

"Everything"

And those were the only words they spoke.

After the silver haired Strauss returned from Edolas, it became hard for Lucy not to listen to the small voice in the back of her head screaming horrible things about her nakama.

"They never wanted you here!"

"He never wanted you here!"

"Your just a replacement!"

"They'll kick you out soon!"

Now it wasn't that she hated Lisanna. She kind of considered her a friend. But every time they spoke, she would always seem rather distant.

She often caught her staring at him.

By him Lucy was talking about non-other than Natsu Dragneel.

The way the youngest Strauss sibling looked at the blonde's partner, the more Lucy felt the need to grab him and scream "Mine!".

It was turing her into a crazy, possesive phyco!

Besides, didn't they have some kind of agreement when they were younger? Didn't that mean if Natsu was anybody's, he was Lisannna's?
