"NATSU STOP!" Lucy screamed at Natsu as he destroyed another building in his hunt for the beast. "No way Luce! This is fun, and we have to get that money so you can pay your rent!" Lucy sighed and watched as Natsu finally caught up to the beast, roasting it in the process. Natsu grinned and jumped down from the destroyed house he was standing on. Lucy looked around.

Houses and building were destroyed, and half of the town were burned. Her eyes moved to the hill where she and Happy had moved the villagers to right as they came. Natsu walked up to her and laughed. "Ops. Looks like I took it to far. But we got the job done right?" Lucy sighed again and turned to the villagers. "It's okay. The beast is down, and Natsu is done. The flames are gone."

Happy flied down to Natsu and Lucy. "Natsu!" The blue cat yelled. "Look at what you did. The town is destroyed, and now Master is gonna kill you." Natsu snorted. "Whatever. Let's just get the money and go home. I'm hungry!" He grinned his famous grin and started walking. Lucy ran to catch up to him and huffed. "Do you always have to destroy something when we are on a job?" He turned his head to Lucy. "Of course I have to. We wouldn't be Fairy tail if we didn't." Lucy sighed.

Natsu always seemed to only care about food, fighting monsters and more food. Lucy wanted Natsu to pay attention to her as well. Yes, Lucy had a crush on Natsu. Her crush goes all the way back to when they first meet in Hargeon. She always thought that the Salamander was cute, but it was first after he 'saved' her from the monkeys at Mount Hakobe that she really fell for him. And now she really wanted him to notice her. On their way back Natsu was, as always, laying flat on his back complaining. Lucy and Happy left him to get some food. On their way back Lucy stopped Happy.

"Hey Happy?" The cat stopped. "Yeah Lucy?" The blonde bit her lip. "Does Natsu ever say something about me. Like, if he has some special feelings for me?" Happy dropped his fish on the ground, and Lucy got nervous. Happy's face morphed into a huge grin as he shot forward and hugged Lucy.

"LUCY!!! You have no idea how long I have waited for this to happen!!" Lucy yelped in surprised and laughed nervously as she hugged the blue cat clinging to her boobs. "What do you mean Happy?" Happy smiled up at her. "Natsu talk about you all the time. You hair, your smile, the way you talk, everything! He really cares for you." Lucy gasped as they slipped into the compartment they had on the train. "Really?" Happy nodded. "Yes. He love you, and every time we go to your house he tells me that he's gonna ask you out, but he never does and just ask for food. It's kinda irritating really. But now that you love him back YOU can ask him out."

Lucy laughed nervously again and looked at the half dead dragon slayer. "No Happy. Girls can't ask out boys. And besides, I don't know if I should. I mean, Natsu is perfect. He's strong and funny, and he really is smart once he puts his mind to it. And I'm sure Lisanna likes him to. She would be better for him. They were childhood friends after all. She knows way more about him than me."

Happy's eyes looked up at Lucy's sad brown once. She was looking over at Natsu. Suddenly the train stopped, and Natsu jumped up, fresh as ever. "Alright! Let's go Luce, Happy." Natsu grinned ad ran of the train, Lucy and Happy following after. For some reason, on the way back to the guild, Natsu seemed happier than usual.

"Natsu?" Lucy asked once they were outside the guild. "Are you okay?" Natsu looked at Lucy. "Yeah Luce. Why wouldn't I be?" Lucy bit her lip as Natsu kicked the door in. "Well, because you seem a lot happier than usual today."

Natsu looked at Lucy. "No reason. Now let's tell the master we are back." He grabbed her arm and dragged her to the middle of the guild, where they stepped up on a table. Lucy was blushing and trying to get down, but Natsu held her still. "HEY!!" He screamed, getting the attention of everyone in the guild. "I have a few things to say. One, we are back, and you can look forward to a new bill Master Makarov." Lucu saw the tiny master groan from his spot by the bar.

"And the second thing," He said, and turned to Lucy. "Is this. Lucy Heartfillia. Will you do me the honour of going on a date with me?" His cheeks were tinted pink, just like his hair, and his eyes were looking right down. Lucy gasped, along with the rest of the guild. "Really?" Natsu nodded. "If you want to, I mean. You don't have to go with me if you don't want t..." Lucy stopped him from rambing further by kissing him on the cheek. "I would love to go on a date with you Natsu." Natsu beamed with happiness and hugged her, the whole guild roaring in laughter and celebration.

"But why did you ask me?" Lucy asked once they were down sitting on a table, Natsu eating a chicken. "Because I just felt like it. And because I hear you talking to Happy on the train. Just because I feel bad does not mean I can't hear stuff you know."

And with that, he got up and went over to Gray, punching him right in the face, starting a brawl with the rest of the men in the guild. All the while. Lucy were sitting by herself on the table, her face scarlet red.
