"Stop playing dumb, Alexis. You know exactly who I am." Hunter growled clutching onto her shoulders more tightly. The girl squinted her eyes at him before raising her hand to his cheek and gently running her thumb over his scar. There were several moments of silence...Her eyes suddenly lit up.

"I KNOW YOU!" She chirped shaking in excitement. "YOU'RE THE BOY FROM MY DREAMS!"

Heat rose to Hunter's cheeks as he suddenly dropped Alexis onto the ground with a thud. The whole inn sat in silence.

"Well...that was very unexpected." Gale said with wide eyes.

"No shiz, Sherlock." Nashi added causing Gale to glare at her.

"Boy from your dreams, what do you mean by that, Lexi?" Ivar questioned the blonde haired girl. He held the mop like a sword ready to attack Hunter at any moment.

Alexis stood up and dusted herself off before gracing everyone with a sweet dazzling smile. "Just trust my judgement, Ivar."

Ivar rubbed his temples with his fingers in frustration. "No offence, doll face, but you don't have the best judgement. You remember the plant incident?"

"Pftt that wasn't that bad..." Alexis said with a shrug.

"You gave me hives on me backside for a whole month, little lady!" A random townsman yelled from the back.

"You did not have to say that out loud!" Storm shouted angrily. Unfortunately for the Fullbuster, he would never get that image out of mind.

"Ivar, please... this is different." Alexis reasoned. "In my dream, that red haired boy protected me from the monsters." Hunter slowly looked up to meet her gaze while Alexis smiled thankfully at him. She then reverted her eyes to the others; Storm, Nashi and Gale. "Now that I think about it, they all did. Even though I don't know them..."

"Wait wait wait... you don't know us?" Nashi questioned with a dumbfounded face.

Alexis tilted her head slightly to the side. "Well I've only ever seen you in my dreams."

Hunter, Storm, Nashi and Gale all exchanged cautious glances.

"Alexis, we're your family." Nashi finally said. Alexis' eyes widened in shock. As did, Ivar's.

"F-family...?"

"She doesn't even remember us." Storm murmured with confusion. "She pulled that prank on me when we were 12 when she acted like I didn't exist but this time I think it's real"

"You saw her face. She didn't even know she had a family." Nashi added furrowing her eyebrows.

The group stayed silent for a moment.

"Hunter, you've been pretty silent this whole time. We kinda need that forceful leader side of  you to tell us what to do." Gale grunted as he chowed down on a turkey leg.

Hunter  had been staring into space for the good 10 minutes the group had been sitting at the table Ivar offered them after Alexis suddenly ran out of the guild. Finding out she had a family was too overwhelming.

Ivar approached the teens with another plate of food. "I want to know who you kids are right now and tell me how you know our Lexi ." He ordered. His aura was demanding and almost threatening.

Hunter cleared his threat gaining Ivar's undivided attention. "I'm Hunter Fernandez. The others are Nashi Dragneel, Gale Redfox and Storm Fullbuster."

Ivar crossed his arms over his chest looking more intimidating than before. "Well, the kids of Fairy Tail's finest huh?" He stated with a sceptical look. Like all people in Fiore, names like Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fullbuster were famous so everyone knew them. Only people living under a rock wouldn't know these names. Ivar stroked his beard as he continued to speak. "What about Lexi?"

"She just so happens to be our Guild Master's daughter, Laxus Dreyar." Storm answered. Ivar's eyes widened. He was silent for a few moments before sighing.

"If you're telling the truth and Lexi is a Dreyar... I'm not interested in keeping someone's child from them." He said softly with a sad expression on his face.

"How exactly did Alexis end up here?" Gale asked the man. It was a question everyone wanted the answer to.

Ivar sighed once again. "There was a storm one night about 2 years ago and I found her outside  the inn muttering her name, Alexis, over and over again. She had no memory of who she was or where she came from. Since then, I took her in and treated her as my own." The ends of Ivar's lips curled into a small smile.

"Someone's after her and we're here to take her back home so that she can be safe." Hunter stated firmly. Ivar's smile faded.

"I somehow had a feeling this day would come." He confessed.

"I-Ivar?" A small voice said.  Alexis stood there, tears brimming her eyes. "I don't want to leave you." She had been listening the whole time.

Ivar put his hands on her shoulders and looked Alexis square in the eyes. "You have a father and mother who are worried sick about you, doll face. Now what kind of man would I be if I didn't let them see their beautiful girl?" Alexis collapsed into his arms while she sobbed. "Just think of it like a adventure and when it comes to an end... you can tell me all about it."

"Gale are you tearing up?" Storm asked the iron dragon slayer.

"Pffttt... no." Gale sniffled as he hid his face deeper into his coat.

"You totally were." Nashi said poking Gale on the head. He swatted her hands away.

"I'll miss you, Ivar. Thank for putting up with me." Alexis whispered.

Hunter's senses started to act up. His eyes darted towards his friends, all three of them noticing the same thing; strong magical energy was near.

"It's them. I know what their magic feels like." Gale jolted to his feet but it was too late...

BOOOOOOOM!
