Chapter 8: The Dinner Interruption
Gajeel's POV
"Because she was one of the girls that use to bully me at my school before I came her," Lev tells me. "And I know that fake cheeriness. She use that to fool me."
Shrimp is shaking violently.
"A-and I don't want her to hurt me or any of my friends or make me alone again," Levy says as I see tears in her eyes.
I take my gloves off and takes her gloves off too.
"W-why does she have to be here? A-and it have to be her out of everyone at school," Lev says as tears stream down her face.
I pull her into my arms as I hug her. She crystal into my shirt as I rub her back and calms her down.
"Everything will be fine Shrimp. I'm not gonna let her hurt ya again," I tell her.
"But what if she gets to me..."
I sigh as I lean down and peck her lips.
"Ya hafta calm down. I'm not gonna let another peopl important ta me leave," I tell her as she blush.
I am going to leave, when Levy grabs my collar and pulls me down to her height as he lips crash onto mine. I look at her shocked and blush, then kiss her back. When we pull apart we look into each other eyes.
"Yer not a bad kisser," I tell her.
"You too," Shrimp says as she hugs me.
I hug her back and smiles.
"So are we dating?"
"Um....if you want to Gajeel. I don't mind being your girlfriend," Levy tells me.
"Then it's settle. I have myself a girlfriend," I tell her as she smiles at me.
I smile back as we put our gloves away. We walk to the cafeteria and we decided not to tell anyone about us as a couple.
"What do you see in me," Lev ask me.
"I see a smart girl, with beautiful blue hair, who is courageous, confident, brave, and happy. That she is amazing for taking everything that the bullies shot at her and kept living," I tell her. "And what do ya see in me?"
"I see a bad boy who tries to hid his soft side, afraid that someone would break it. But I also see a strong man who will protect the ones he love because that is who he is. A man that follows his own path and will punch anyone that tells him what do to," Levy says. "A kind man that hides his heart in Iron and only let the worthy to see the heart of gold under the Iron. That is who I see."
"I like it," I tell her as we smile. "Now I need ta make a song for ya."
"A song?"
"Yeah. I make songs and I'm not bad I hafta say. I know I'm better than Justine Bieber," I say as Lev giggles and smiles. "What's funny?"
"If you are better than him, then how come I never saw you on the TV?"
"Because people wouldn't believe that it's me."
"And why is that?"
"Do ya know the song We don't believe what's on TV, by Twenty-one Pilots?"
"I think so," Levy says.
"It's sorta like that. No one would believe that is was truest me," I tell her.
"I think I get it," Lev says as we enter the cafeteria.
We went to our usually table and sat down and started to eat.
Gem's POV
I see MY Gajeel walk in with the creep(*cough* Levy *cough*). My anger boils as I keep it under control. I walk over to their table.
"Hello," I say as politely as I could muster. "How is your boxing coming?"
They look at me as Gajeel finish chewing.
"Not bad. Lev is pretty good for her first time," he tells me.
I mentally sigh at his voice. It was so beautiful I can listen to it for the rest of my life.
"That's good," say as I look at Levy. "Now that I am closer, don't we go to the same school?"
"I think so," Levy says. "What is your school called?"
"Rosetta's School for Gifted Children," I tell her.
"Yes we did," Lev says. "Why did you come here to be a nurse?"
"My father thought it would be a good idea. Since I'm a grade ahead of everyone my age and will graduate at the end of this year. He says it would be good community help on paper for college. Why are you here?"
"Oh. I have a situation that I'm trying to get over," Levy says trying to get the correct words.
"Oh. Well hopefully you get over them soon," I say.
So that I can have Gajeel all to myself, I think as I smile.
"Maybe. It might take some time," the creep tells me.
"Why is that? Does anyone know why you are here?"
"Only Gajeel," Levy tells me.
"So you trust him and not the nurses who are suppose to help you," I say.
"It's not their fault. We bonded quickly and I'm tying to get over being Anti-Social," she tells me. "That is one reason why I'm here."
"Ok. Maybe you can tell me when you are ready," I say. "I better go."
And with that, I have to leave MY Gajeel with that creep of a person.
