VIII. Bacchus & Cana Alberona

- POV : NORMAL -

Cana and Bacchus don’t like each other because of what happened before at the bar. The Grand Magic Games just ended but the start of dragons invading the future had started. There are still three dragon slayers needed to defeat the dragons. Cana and the others were still fighting the monsters who were attacking them.

 But Cana got hit and got separated from the others. She stood up and gets her cards and continued fighting. When a monster was about to hit behind her, someone defeated it by using Cleaving Hook Palm Magic, yes it was…

“Bacchus? What the hell are you doing here?!” Cana yelled.

“Oi! Don’t be like that to someone who had just save you!” He yelled back.

“Fine thank you, whatever.” Cana rolled her eyes.

“Wanna have a drink after all of this?” Bacchus smirked.        

“Of course! I ain’t losin’ this time!” Cana smirked.

“That’s a wild soul you have there!”

 The two of them managed to defeat the monsters in the place. The two were panting heavily.

“Hey Cana?” Bacchus said as he came closer to her.

“Yeah?” And she did the same.

“Do you believe that wine makes us closer? Makes people’s bond to be strong?”

“Why do you ask?”

“Etto… Because…” He leaned into to Cana’s face. She felt her face that her cheeks were burning hot as she continued to stare at his eyes.

‘Wait, why am I like this when his face is close to mine? I already experienced this from Macao, Laxus and Gray. But why do I feel like this when it’s him. This Bacchus? Am I feeling- No. that’s not it. It must be something else.’ Cana thought.

‘Why is her face red? And why are you doing this to her?’ Bacchus thought. The were staring in each other’s eyes, then.

“Cana!” Someone called her. Cana turned her head where she heard someone calling her.

“Mira! Is Wendy okay?” Cana asked. Mira and Yukino stopped infront of her. Panting for air.

“Mira-sama, where will we put them?” Yukino asked her.

“Cana, Wendy’s unconscious.”

“Wendy…” Carla mumbled.

“And I don’t know where to put them Yukino, let’s search for shelter.”

“Hai.” Yukino said.

“Hey I saw a white tent over there.” Bacchus pointed to a tent not that far away from them. They all nodded at him and went there. Visible only to Mira’s eyes, she saw Jellal leaving the tent. She smiled. ‘If Jellal was there, it means Erza’s here too.’ She thought.

“Oh Erza you’re here!” Cana came to her.

“Is Wendy alright?” Erza asked.

“She just unconscious and I’ll just bandage her.” Mira said.

“Ok and let her stay next to my bed.” Erza said. Mira nodded. She puts Wendy beside Erza’s bed and Yukino also puts Carla beside Wendy. They put a bandage on Wendy and Carla’s neck, head, waist, arms and legs. And also same to Mira, Yukino, Cana and Bacchus. Suddenly, Natsu, Lucy and Happy came, Natsu was carrying Lucy, the three of them, was seriously injured.

“Natsu!” Mira came to him.

“Hey Mira, take care of Lucy for me.” He said.

“Ok.” Mira answered and he puts Lucy beside Wendy.

“But Natsu, let me bandage you up, you’re seriously injured.” Mira said to him.

“No do it to her first.” Natsu said.

“I’ll do it, Natsu-sama.” Yukino said and bandage Lucy on her head.

“Thanks.”

“Now I’ll bandage you up Natsu, you’re seriously injured.” Mira said as she bandage Natsu’s waist.

“Natsu? Did you win over Rogue?” Cana asked.

“Yeah, he’s knock out for now.” He answered.

“You’re really protective of Lucy you know.” Mira winked at him.

“H-hey! She’s my best friend you know.” He said.

“Oh really?” Cana smirked at him.

“I don’t believe you Natsu. Lucy even embraced you while she was naked.” Happy snickered.

“Oh~! And he said they were best friends.” Cana said.

“Yeah! He even had an idea because of Lucy seeing her naked!” Happy giggled.

“Happy!” Natsu blushed and growled at Happy.

“Oh my! Natsu-kun! He sees Lucy’s naked body.” Mira giggled.

“It as an accident!” Natsu blushed even more.

“N-Natsu?” Lucy groaned. Natsu came immediately to her and hold her hand.

“Lucy you’re awake!” Natsu exclaimed.

“W-what happened?” Lucy whimpered.

“I’ll explain to you everything Lucy!” Happy and ira said and came to her, started to talk about everything. They were blushing, laughing and teasing Natsu and Lucy. Cana saw Bacchus walked out. Then Erza said to her “Follow him Cana, talk to him.”

“Eh? Why me?”

“I can’t stand up right now and it’s up to you, he seemed to have a problem.” Erza said.

“Ugghhh, fine, and it’s because you wanted.” Cana said to her and Erza nods. Cana goes out of the tent and walked over at Bacchus, he was sitting at a rock that came from a building that was destroyed because of the war. She sits beside him. And looked at him for a couple of minutes, thinking what she would say to him.

“Hey are you okay?” Cana asked him.

“Yeah, it’s just because all of this fighting I can’t even drink a booze of wine.” He sighed.

“Yeah me too. I really want a drink right now.” I said.

“Hey why are you here with me anyway?” Bacchus asked her.

“It’s because of Erza. She suggested me to talk to you.” Cana said. And there was silence between the two.

“Cana?”

“Yeah?”

“Wanna go out for me some other time?”

“Are you serious?”

He chuckled. “Yeah, we’re both drunkers and what if we, go out some time.”

“Sure.” Cana smiled at him. And they continue to think of their own world.

And after the fight the guild mages helped at Crocus in fixing buildings using magic. While during their help at Crocus, the different guilds had become really close. Cana and Bacchus always talked a lot and hang out a lot. People and wizards would think they’re own a relationship but the two would always say that they’re friends.

When they’ve heard that when the town is finished fixing, they will go back o the guild, this saddened to the different guild members that they will not able to see their friends from other guilds everyday. When the final day has come the king announced.

“I really thank all of you guild mages, you’re really been a big help. And as for a reward I’ll let you all stay in our hotels for three days and two nights stay in one of our hotels, so you all can chose wherever you want to stay.” The king smiled, they mages were cheering for the king.  And saying ‘thank you’ to him. Then everyone was going to the persons who they invited to stay in a hotel.

While Cana and Bacchus pulled away from the crowd and they talked to where it is not crowded.

“Hey Cana let’s stay in that hotel! I heard that they are famous for selling drinks!” Bacchus said to her.

“Yosh! Let’s go there now!” Cana and Bacchus ran to the hotel and go to the counter. They picked their rooms and went upstairs. Bacchus was in Room 456, while Cana is Room 457. They pack their things and they went outside. They ordered their beer and when it came…

“I’m gonna beat you up!” Cana said.

He chuckled. “No I am!” And he started drinking.

“That’s not fair!” And she started drinking too.

And they drank beer and wine all night. The other mages and mage also saw them but they let them be themselves. Then the two fell asleep which the waiter woke them up.

“Uh sir, ma’am you’re not allowed to sleep here.” The waiter said.

“Huh? Oh we’re going upstairs now! Wake up Bacchus!” Cana yelled.

He yawned and rubbed his eyes. “Alright, alright.” The two stood up and went to the elevator. While at the elevator.

“Oi Cana.”

“Y-yeah? *HICUPS*”

“*Hicup* Do you ever think that you want to try kissing someone?” Bacchus asked.

“Yeah. Why do you ask?”

“Be cause I want you to give it to you know.” Bacchus said and pinned Cana to the wall and gave her a passionate kiss. And after many seconds, they pulled away and the elevator opened. They walked to their rooms. But before they entered. Bacchus asked her a question.

“Cana, will you be my girlfriend?”

“B-Bacchus?” She leaned in to him and gave him a kiss.

“I would love to.” She smiled. Bacchus smirked

“Never expected it. Well, good night.” He said as he entered his room.

“Me too. Good night.” She said and she drifted to sleep. After this day their relationship got stronger and then they got married, having two children.
