"It's been a while, hasn't it... Erza?" Kyoka said with a sadistic grin, her eyes gleaming with malevolent amusement. Team Natsu froze, staring at the familiar demon in shock and disbelief.

"How are you here?! You should be dead, along with the other members of Tartaros!" Lucy demanded, her voice filled with urgency and confusion. Kyoka merely laughed, her smile stretching into something far more sinister.

"I was... but thanks to the Demon Queen, Rangda, I was reborn—stronger. Much stronger than I was with Tartaros!" Kyoka's voice echoed with madness, her words dripping with psychotic glee.

"The Demon Queen, Rangda?! Who the hell is she?!" Natsu shouted in disbelief, only for Kyoka to respond with a swift, deadly movement. Her whip-like talons lashed out, grabbing Natsu by the throat and hurling him through the attic wall, creating a massive hole as he crashed into the outside.

"Silence, insolent human!" Kyoka shrieked. "I will not tolerate disrespect against the Queen!"

"Natsu!!!" Gray and Lucy cried out in unison. Before they could react, Happy quickly took flight, his wings beating furiously as he darted after Natsu. "I got him!" he shouted, determined to catch his friend before he hit the ground.

With a twisted laugh, Kyoka's speed was apparent as she darted forward. She snatched Gray and Lucy by their faces, her claws digging in as she effortlessly tossed them out of the attic. The two mages went tumbling through the air, crashing to the floor below.

As the dust settled, Kyoka turned her gaze toward Wendy, her eyes narrowing with malicious intent. She smirked. "You stand no chance against me, but if you hand over that lance, I might spare your life," she said in a mocking tone. "Actually, scratch that—it'll be far more fun to take it from your cold, dead hands!"

Before she could strike, however, Erza lunged at her in a blur of lightning, donning her Lightning Empress Armor. Her spear crackled with energy as she aimed it directly at Kyoka, her anger palpable.

Kyoka's talons collided with Erza's lightning-charged weapon, and a violent surge of electricity erupted from the clash, zapping anything it touched. Despite the fury of the storm, Kyoka held her ground. Erza briefly glanced back.

"Wendy, Carla, Anna, grab the lance and run!" Erza commanded, her voice firm and resolute.

Understanding her order, Wendy clutched the lance, and with Carla and Anna by her side, they sprinted past the two combatants, racing down the stairs to escape the building.

"Why are you after the lance?!" Erza demanded, her voice full of urgency.

Kyoka scoffed, the mocking tone evident in her voice. "Like I would tell a pathetic human," she sneered, using her enhanced strength to shove Erza into a pile of crates. As Erza struggled to free herself, Kyoka smirked triumphantly at her.

"As you can see, Erza, your guild and your strength are nothing compared to the power of Shadows Treachery," Kyoka taunted, her voice dripping with disdain. Erza could only glare at the demon, unable to move. Just as Kyoka raised her claws for the finishing blow, she paused, her face betraying a flicker of realization.

"What am I doing?" Kyoka muttered to herself. "The Queen will be furious if I return empty-handed. I must get the lance before that brat summons... Him."

Erza's brow furrowed. Him? Who was this person Kyoka referred to?

Kyoka narrowed her eyes at Erza. "You're lucky I have more pressing matters to attend to," she spat, retracting her claws. Without another word, she jumped through the hole where she had thrown Natsu, leaving the fallen knight struggling to free himself.

As Erza worked to pull herself from the rubble, her eyes widened in sudden understanding. "Damn you, Kyokaaaa!!!" she screamed in fury.

Wendy's POV

"Why is this happening?" Wendy thought frantically as she, Anna, and Carla raced through the mansion, desperate to escape Kyoka's pursuit. Wendy stumbled slightly, her arms weighed down by the holy lance, Longinus. The weight of it was too much for her small frame, slowing her down.

Finally, they reached the fountain in the courtyard, but just as Wendy was about to push forward, her foot caught on something, sending her sprawling to the ground in front of the fountain.

"Wendy!" Anna and Carla called out, their voices filled with panic.

Wendy attempted to scramble to her feet, but her heart sank when she saw Kyoka standing before her, her eyes gleaming with deadly intent. Kyoka's smile widened like a predator cornering its prey.

"Well, well, little mouse," she sneered. "It looks like our little game of chase has come to an end."

Wendy's heart raced, her body trembling as Kyoka's claws began to glow ominously. She knew this was the end. Longinus began to pulse faintly in her grip, but she couldn't look away from the terrifying demon before her.

"Any last words?" Kyoka asked, her voice dripping with malice. Wendy's body froze, her mind racing for a solution that wouldn't come.

In a desperate moment, the image of Grandeeney, her beloved dragon, filled her thoughts. With all her might, she cried out, "Save me... GRANDEENEY!!!"

The very next instant, Longinus exploded with brilliant light, and a fierce wind howled around Wendy. Everything turned white as the overwhelming light enveloped her.

The light slowly faded, and as the wind settled, Wendy blinked in confusion. The faint scent of something neither human nor demon filled her senses. She was not alone anymore.

"W-what...?" Wendy whispered.

A voice she didn't recognize spoke gently. "That was close. Good thing I got here in time. Are you alright, milady?"

Wendy's eyes shot open, and the moment she saw the speaker, her heart skipped a beat. The man standing before her was tall and muscular, with short white hair that blew in the wind. His eyes were a piercing sky blue, and he wore gleaming silver armor, simple yet elegant, with a white cloak flowing behind him. He was holding Longinus in his left hand with a calm, reassuring smile on his face.

I don't know why, but all I could do was stare at the man. Suddenly, I hear my team bickering.

Third-Person POV

Team Natsu watched in complete shock as the scene unfolded before them. They had just seen Kyoka defeated in a single strike from the mysterious knight, and they were still processing what had just happened.

"HOLY CRAP!!! THAT GUY'S A GORILLA!!!" Natsu shouted, his voice loud and filled with astonishment. Gray slapped him across the back of the head, causing Natsu to whine in protest.

"Shut up, Flamefreak. If he hears us, we're toast," Gray said coolly, still in his boxers from earlier.

"OH, SO NOW YOU'RE GONNA PULL CHEAP SHOTS?!!!" Natsu shouted back, his temper flaring.

As the two continued their bickering, Lucy looked at the white-haired knight, her eyes wide with wonder. She had never seen this man before, but his handsome appearance caught her attention immediately. Happy, noticing Lucy's gaze, grinned mischievously.

"Looks like Lucy's in loooovvveeee~" he teased.

Lucy flushed bright red and punched Happy so hard he was sent flying six feet into the ground. "That's not it, stupid cat! I'm just trying to figure out who he is and how he got here!!!"

Suddenly, Kyoka's enraged scream cut through the noise. "I WILL NOT RETURN EMPTY-HANDED!!!" she screeched, readying herself for another attack.

But the knight was quicker. With a swift, powerful motion, he swung Longinus, knocking Kyoka back through the walls of the mansion. The smoke cleared to reveal Kyoka lying motionless on the ground, a deep gash running diagonally across her body.

The team stood frozen in disbelief.

"Holy crap!" Gray muttered under his breath.

"You've got to be kidding me," Lucy whispered shakily.

"WWWHHHAAATTT!!!" Natsu and Happy shout in unison.

Erza appeared shortly after, back in her casual armor, her face stern as she observed the fallen demon.

Wendy, however, was silent as she turned to the knight, who was now kneeling in front of her. His eyes were kind as he looked up at her, and he lowered his head in a formal gesture of allegiance.

Wendy blinked, confusion washing over her. "Hold on, what are you—?"

Before she could finish, the knight spoke with deep reverence, his voice clear and strong.

"Second seat of the Roundtable, Sir Percival. I have hereby come into this world. Along with the Holy Lance, I shall become your power, master!"
