Levy's POV

You know when your in school, sitting at you desk and that one annoying person finds the need to hit their pencil off of their desk? Thats what the tweeting of birds sounds like to me just now...

It makes me feel angry that they get to do what ever they want, and I have to work.

Ive been looking for Gajeel for a few days now but im begining to slow. I need water and I need food, I constantly feel like im about to collapse.

My eyelids weigh me down as I walk and my light tracksuit is heavy on my bones... I'm slowly starving to death. Im not surprised though food is especially difficult to find for someone with no hunting experience like me. Occasionally I find rabbits hopping in the green grass freely, but would I have the heart to skin it and de-bone the poor creature?

I truly feel like I am part of a fairy tail. Except insted of the damsel in distress I am the thorn in the bush that blinded the prince from rapunzel...

Im something everybody wished didn't happen... I can just imagine what my parents are going through just now. Watching as their sorry excuse of a daughter cowardly hides herself away. They must be ashamed of me...

I decide to take a break from walking as my Skelton falls to the ground from fatigue. I can't get up again so i decide to rest. My hands finger at the grass and daisy's bellow me. For a game of murder it's quite peaceful.

I close my eyes slowly as the buzzing of cicadas puts me into a trance. Its such an open space, quite good for a picnic. I can imagine sitting with Gajeel here nibbling on tuna and cucumber sandwiches.

My stomach rumbles awaken me in pain. Im starving. I pull myself up and begin to walk. Each step feeling like daggers piercing the bottom of my feet.

No sooner am I walking until I fall to the ground again. Im hopeless I sigh. My muscles feel like lead and my skeleton- paper. A tear drops down my cheek.

"Gajeel I thought we would be together.. " I choke. My lips tremble and my heart pounds at the thought of him.

"I'm pretty much dead already." I cough. This time I can't get up.

Gajeel's POV

I cant find her. A person as small of her in a forest as big as this... its impossible. Im just glad she isn't dead, but for how long?

I came across a dead body on my travels. The girl had long brown hair,  her cause of death resembled that of dehydration. She was from District 8 so she must've been that cana girl who managed to get drunk almost every dinner time. She was wearing a blue rucksack so I grabbed it before her body was taken.

I've filled it with apples, water, weapons and some trout. Its not that heavy and it holds alot.

I crush the leaf litter under my black boots as I storm ahead.

After hours of walking  through the denseness of the pine, I finally come across some open space. I drop my bag to the ground and begin to set up camp. Well, whatever you call it when you drop a bag on the ground and sleep. I decide to explore this new found land and gather fire wood and other useful supplies.

I scan my surroundings. Soft green grass and wild daisies. No water though, or trees except the ones surrounding the perimeter. A smile appears on my lips.
"At least I dont need to worry about being attacked from above." I say to myself. I lay down on the grass and stare to the sky. Thats when i hear a cough. I quickly sit up and grip onto my dagger from the cornucopia.

I scan the soft grass carefully looking for any intruder. Then I notice a flash of blue hair lying down against the plants.

"Levy!" I scream out, unable to hold down my excitement. My numb feet break out into a run. She doesn't move. Perplexed I quickly pick up pace.

Her amber eyes are shut over as her breathing sounds clogged and ragged.
"Levy!" My emotions take over me as I push her onto her back. I immediately grab her and carry her over to where my belongings are.

My hands don't move fast enough as I desperately look for a flask. I shove the gritty water down her throat. My heart thunders when she doesn't open her eyes. I feel my head bead with sweat.
"Levy!" Her beautiful face gone boney and dry. I wrap her frail body in my arms.

"Im sorry I didn't come sooner. Im too late." Her breasts are pushed up against my chest. I feel a tear escape my eyes as i hold her in an embrace.

"Gajeel..." a quite voice mumbles in my ear. Im so full of shock my tears fall off of my chin.

"Im starving please say you have food and water." She manages to say. I place her body back down on the grass and unzip my bag.

I place an apple in her hand and awkwardly smile.
"It might taste of trout from the river." I also hand her my flask which she takes a drink of immediately.

"This is a very peaceful place." She manages to say in between chews. I nod my head in agreement.

As night approaches i start on the fire for cooking out fish.
"Can you cook?" I chuckle to levy whos staring at the sky. She shrugs shyly.

"Im glad that your safe." I place my hand on her shoulder. It was either the ambience from the fire or she was blushing but her face was red. She smiles.
"Well as safe as you can be in this areana." She spita.

"From now on out we are together, promise?" Her croaky voice pipes up. I place my hand in hers as we exchange a gaze.
"Promise." I say back.
