Erza: Pov 

I was talking to the client a woman, as Y/n is already checking the mansion from outside with a serious look on his face talking to Frost. It's actually the first time that I saw him prepare a mission like this, as Frost told me he always plans ahead to have a Plan B, in case the attack fails and he has to rethink the strategy.

The client was next to me. "You should know one thing about the request is that inside are traps that can have something written on a board if you activate it you have to complete the order or else you wont be able to go ahead." She warned and I felt my back tingle about the possible orders.

"What kind of orders could be on them?" I asked in wonder.

The Client shock his head. "I sadly can't tell you as I don't know them. Maybe it will have to do something with that handsome boy you came with or not, you will have to see it yourself." She said and smiled as she pointed to Y/n.

Erza Pov 

What the Client said made me jump a bit, an order where Y/n and I have to do something or else we wont be able to go ahead, that can only mean one thing! I felt my face slowly heat up on the thought of it as Y/n snapped me out of my thoughts. "Erza we are ready to go I will tell you what I was speaking to Frost about." He said and smiled at me warmly. I looked at him. "so what's your plan?" I asked in wonder.

He thought for a moment. "The mansion looks like it isn't well lit meaning the monsters are able to see in the dark we will have to advance slowly and watch out for traps if we want to go on without a problem." He replied and set his hands on his sides.

I nod. "You are right about it Y/n we will have to watch out for traps." I retorted and gave him a short smile.

Y/n: Pov

We went inside the mansion as the door closed behind us. I felt the presence of the monsters. "How many monsters are here Y/n?" Erza asked slightly concerned. "Maybe twenty or thirty I can't feel more." I replied and looked over a corner.

As soon as I said this a trap was activated I felt Erza get nervous a bit as we read the order in it. " Which of these two containers has more volume in it" one was taller and one was wider. I saw Erza gave out a sighs of relieve. "It's a rhetorical question they have both the same volume." She smiled, the trap disappeared and we where able to go further as three monsters attacked us.

Erza looked at me. "Y/n what kind of monsters are these they aren't the usual monsters known to me." She spoke surprised.

I nod. "They look like they are some sort of hybrid monsters. Erza watch out!" I shouted the last part trying to get her out from the attack.

Erza's Pov

I saw some sort of plant like arms attack me, I tried to cut them but more attacked me and grab my legs as it lifted me of the ground, I saw Y/n get angry. "Get your arms of her she belongs to me!" He yelled in anger. I felt something on me as more of the arms wrapped around me I saw the mouth of this creature below me. Y/n appeared under me and burned the three monsters with his fire dragon Iron fist I fell towards him he swiftly caught me in his arms. I realized what happened and what he said and felt the feeling again of my heart hammering heavily, I took a glimpse at Y/n before swiftly looking away blushing. I didn't know what to do right now.

Y/n Pov

I Caught Erza and had her in my arms I felt my heart beating faster she took a quick look at me before looking away again I realized in what kind of situation we were I quickly placed her down and heard her muter a "Thank you" we walked again and we ran into another trap with the order Kiss a member! I took a swift look at Erza, I saw her in the same pose as me frozen on the spot looking at the sign.

Erza Pov

My feeling was right I knew it an order like this is going to happen! I felt Y/n tap my shoulder and I felt my face heat up and my heart start to race I looked at Y/n he was looking at the ground saying " Well I guess this  wouldn't hurt". He looked at me and got closer stopping in front of me, I said "True... wait that isn't the issue here, whoa y...you can't be serious Y/n!" I turned away closing my eyes for a bit thinking about how to solve this I felt something on my cheek I looked up and saw Frost had done it. I was thankful to him actually as I heard the order being completed. I forgot that Frost was a team member of Dragon Knights. I said "Thank you" to Frost as he just chuckled and waved it off.

Y/n Pov

Frost kissed Erza on her cheek I was thankful to him as I didn't know what Erza would have done if I kissed her, probably she would have punched me or something. I still was envious on him but I looked at Erza and asked "Are you ok Erza we can go on with the mission now" Erza nod and stood next, to me we ran into a dead end and another order popped up saying " the way you search for is not always in front of you" Erza and I looked at each other before we both had an idea.

"It's a riddle this time the way you search for is not always in front of you that could only mean..." She said and thougth for a bit.

I smiled. "It's ether up or down but since down is nothing than it's upwards." I replied. Erza and I looked up as Frost already flew up, "It goes on up here" He shouted.

Erza's Pov

"How are we going up there." I askeed as there is no ladder or any other way, I felt two arms grab me as I tried to free myself. "Erza I can fly us up there." He replied smiling, I tried to protest but he grabbed my arm and lifted me on his back flying up and landing on the floor. He's warm I felt his warmth trough his cloths or was it my imagination. I stood on the floor again, we both made a step forward and fell down landing on the hard floor. I couldn't move my arms, they were pinned on the ground next to my head by something. I opened my eyes from the shock and saw Y/n on top of me his hands were tightly grasping my wrists, he had blush on his face just as I realized in what situation I am my face became the same shade of red as my hair. We both looked at each other in the eyes his piercing e/c eyes looked directly at mine. We were both close to each other right now our lips were just a few fingers apart. I felt my heart beat become heavy and beat like a heavy drum, I felt my chest go up and down from each beat my face became red until I heard Frost yell "OMG you two are having a moment!". We both jumped up and looked away stuttering both saying "I...I'm sorry I didn't mean to". I felt like I wanted to hit Frost for interrupting us right now but at the same time I was happy that this didn't happen.

I saw him sweating and blushing heavily. "Erza we should get going and forget what happened right now." He said nervously.

It's better to forget this right now and go on. I can't kiss a boy I'm Erza Scarlet The Titania if I kiss a boy than that means I'm not the strongest female mage I'm independent from a boy he's a friend nothing more. I just stuttered. "The mission will soon be over the last room is in front of us" I replied. We opened the door as at least thirty monsters stormed into our direction. We both slammed the doors shut and looked at each other in shock. 

"How many were inside there?!" I asked him, he just smirked at me. "Did you forget the challenge we both made" he prepared himself I felt fire build up in my body and l looked at him, he had a smile on him we both kicked the door open and screamed running inside dashing forward attacking the monsters. I heard Frosts Lion roar he jumped at one of them and pinned it on the ground giving it a killing blow with his right paw. I saw Y/n's body flicker in some sort of golden light. I cut down one of the monsters the room was enveloped in a bright flash of light I looked in awe Y/n's body was on fire but it wasn't a normal fire more like a magical golden flame of a god. 

I saw his face and arms in golden scales before several monsters jumped him pinning him on the ground I tried to run to him but I felt Frost hold me back and say" Erza he's fine just watch" I saw the golden flames shine trough the monsters before they all got blown away by an explosion he stood in front of me his eyes had an ice blue color now. I jumped next to him and Re-quip into my purgatory armor we dashed into separate directions into the enemies, we both got the feeling of being hungry for a battle this was the first time I jumped head first into a group of enemies without concern smiling and with fire in my eyes. 

After defeating all the monsters Frost, Y/n and I stood in front of each other and High fived before we took the key that was on a stand. I saw Y/n tumble a bit I was concerned now. He fell towards me, I quickly caught him but tripped doing it. I was on the ground and his head was on my lap I was embarrassed a bit and pulled him up to look at him I heard him mumble a "thank you" I had my hand on his cheek for a moment looking at him and those ice blue eyes. I darted up when I realized what I was doing. I heard him smack on the ground and hold his head with his right hand saying "why did you drop me so hard you could have laid me down slowly?" I looked at him for a moment I was really embarrassed and said "I got startled by something I'm sorry for dropping you." 

He looked at me and smirked before saying "Ok Erza lets end this mission". We went to open the door to our exit. We saw the woman standing in front of us saying "Bravo you three have completed the request without failing once. You three are an amazing team of mages I saw the battle you had with the monsters. At first I thought the cat is not able to fight but he transformed and attacked the monsters without fear, just like the two of you I'm sure you three will go on the most difficult requests and complete them, because what you have is rare. The ability to trust your partner in battle without thinking and I'm sure you both realized something today as well, The purpose of this mansion is to see if you can work together". We three smiled at each other and nodded because team Dragon Knights is gonna destroy the competition from now on.

Y/n Pov

We took the money from the client and went back to Fairy Tail to celebrate the request, we opened the guild door. Natsu jumped at me and wanted a fight but I just smacked him down. We went to the bar and took the usual order strawberry cake for Erza and one for me too, Frost got his ice cream, we sat at one of the tables and ate the cakes, as usual Erza was done with hers in seconds. I just gave her one half of mine to make her happy. Frost ate his ice cream, we laughed and smiled at each other like good friends or more? I saw Erza's eyes with an expression of happiness and a care free smile on her. From this point on I want to make Erza happy as this is the job of a friend and team member to help your partner. I felt something in me like I need to keep her save and protect her smile. I smiled as well, we both looked at each other before looking away again blushing, my heart jumping at her sight with the scarlet hair and those deep chocolate brown pretty eyes, that I want to look at without making her uncomfortable.

Erza's Pov

I felt like my heart was trying to say something but I wasn't sure what it was. I looked into his eyes before, I had to look away again as my face was going to heat up. I heard the only thing that was able to brake the silence right now, Natsu and Gray fighting. Y/n went to join the brawl. I just looked at him with a smile I saw Lisanna coming to me and ask how the request went. I just said "it was a really good job request and showed us how good we can work together". Lisanna just nodded and said "I'm sure you will see why you can work together so easy sooner or later" Lisanna's response left me with a questioning look on my face at what she meant by it well my  face and heart have a strange behavior of their own since I met him but I'm sure it's nothing to worry.
