Lucy's Apartment

Danny looked at Lucy in shock at what she had just asked him. Lucy looked at Danny as tears started to form in her eyes a wave of sadness fell over her as Lucy thought. 'Maybe he doesn't feel the same way '. Lucy turned her back to Danny as the tears began to fall and soft whimpers began to escape her lips. Danny's heart began to break see his best friend and crush crying right in front of him. Without even thinking Danny walked up behind Lucy and wrapped his arms around her waist as he finally found the words he wished to say."I do have someone that I have feelings for and she's the best person in the world to me". Danny gently grabbed Lucy's arms and carefully spun her around so she could face him, Danny then placed his thumb and fore finger onto Lucy's chin and raised her head so she could look at him.

Danny looked Lucy in the eyes and gave her a warm and gentle smile as he continued his little speech."Lucy the person I'm talking about is you, the first time you turned up to the guild I was intrested in why you wanted to join the guild, however the more I learned about you the more you were on my mind. I found myself asking Levy about you and what you thought of me. I love you Lucy Heartfilia, now and forever". Danny finished his confession as he leaned in a kissed Lucy on the lips. 

Lucy flinched at the initially contact but she closed her eyes and quickly kissed Danny back. After a minute the pair separated Lucy opened her eyes and started into Danny's eyes as a smile graced her lips as she replied."I love you too Danny, when Phantom Lord kidnapped me I knew that you would come and rescue me". Danny smiles as he gave Lucy a quick kiss on the cheek as he lightly grabbed Lucy's hand and intertwined their fingers."You ready to back to the guild"? Danny asked as Lucy just nodded her head as the pair began their walk back to Fairy Tail.

Danny opened the doors to the guild and walked towards the bar hand in hand with Lucy, who was sporting a massive blush, as the new couple approached the bar Mira turned around and when she saw Danny and Lucy she squealed in happiness."Mira calm down please". Danny said with a deadpan tone however the before Mira or Lucy could respond the sound of two swords unsheathing could be heard. Danny and Lucy turned around to see both Erza and Kagura standing there with their swords pointed at the two."So you decide to show your face here after you have the guts to steal our brother away from us"! Erza yelled at Lucy, who was shacking from fear at the two swordswomen, Danny then untangled his hand from Lucy's and stood in front of her as he replied."You want to get to Lucy, you will have to get through me first". Erza and Kagura were stunned for a second before charging at Danny however before they reached him both went around him however they were sent flying backwards. 

Erza and Kagura looked up and saw Danny standing still with both his arms stretched out. "What did I tell you both"? Danny said as his looked both his sisters in the eyes, Erza then changed her armour into her Heavens Wheel armour and summoned another sword as Kagura began to use her Gravity Magic to try and restrict Danny's movement however he was just too quick and blitzed Kagura knocking her off balance before she or Erza could react."You honestly think I'm just gonna let you interfere in my love life like that". Danny said as his eyes began to turn red however his concentration was broken when he felt a slight increase in magical pressure behind him and as he turned his gaze towards where the magical pressure was coming from. 

Danny's eyes began to widen as he saw Lucy standing there with two golden keys in her hand. "Lucy stay out of this"! Danny yelled at her but Lucy very quickly responded as she yelled back. "No! You're my boyfriend and it doesn't matter who you fight I will always fight beside you! No matter what you say"! Danny's look of shock turned into one of happiness as he turned back to face his sisters as he replied to Lucy."Very well then lend me your strength Luce, I'm gonna need it". Lucy nodded as she ran towards Danny and stood next to her new boyfriend."Well Sword Sisters are you ready"? Danny asked as he began to gather lightning around his right arm but Erza changed back into her normal Heart Kreuz armour and Kagura sheathed her sword, this caused both Danny and Lucy to look at the two in confusion as Erza spoke up and explained. "We never had any real intention of harming you Danny or you Lucy. We just wanted to test you Lucy". 

"Why did you want to test me"? Lucy asked as Kagura responded to Lucy's question."We knew that one day that Danny would chose a girlfriend but we wanted to make sure that she would stay by his side no matter if he says that he doesn't want her to be involved in his problems". Danny shook his head as he walked up to Erza and Kagura and chopped them on their head as he said."Could've at least told me of you little plan". As Erza and Kagura rubbed the top of their heads with Kagura retorting."Like you told us of your little S Class mission you went on"?"This is completely different since you weren't present when I took the quest and I needed to do a quest to get some money". 

"Danny we're sorry we didn't tell you of this". Erza said with a bit of regret in her voice as Danny replied."It's okay I'm angry or anything. I'm gonna go to the bar and grab a drink, you coming Lucy"? Lucy looked at Danny as she nodded and left with him. As the pair reached the bar Danny sat on one of the bar stools with Lucy sitting on his lap and the pair having to deal with the endless questions of Mirajane and Levy.
