A Few Weeks Later

Danny sat at the bar of the Fairy Tail guild after everyone helped to rebuild it after Phantom Lord destroyed it during their war. The Fairy Tail guild hall is tall stone building that seems to tower over all the other buildings in the town of Magnolia, if you enter the guild hall you would see that its just as large on the inside.

The floor was made up of oak planks with the furniture being made up of the same wooden materials as the floor. There are several long wooden beams that support the wooden mezzanines the are present on both sides of the guild hall and a similarly long counter that occupied the wall to the right of the entrance. Above the counter hung a large banner with the Fairy Tail logo. The request board for standard wizarding quests was located to the right of the entrance and an information desk was to the left of the entrance, a few meters away from the request board are around two dozen restaurant tables that stretched across the room. 

"Hey brother what's up". Danny turned around to see Levy and Lucy walking towards him, he gave them both a smile causing Lucy to start blushing slightly. This didn't go unnoticed by Levy who made a mental note to tease Lucy about her crush on Danny."Hey Lev and hey Luce, what can I do for you"? Danny asked as Levy sat down on his left side and Lucy sat down next to Levy. "Just wanted to hang out with my brother today". Danny chuckled as he replied."I got no problem with that". However before the three could begin talking someone ran up to Danny and tried to attack him but they were swiftly knocked back by Danny who just said. 

"Really Natsu"? Natsu stood up and replied."Fight me Danny"! The Lightning Devil Slayer user just chuckled but before he could reply to Natsu's rather vocal challenge a sword in a white scabbard smacked Natsu in the head knocking the pink haired Dragon Slayer unconscious. "There was no need for that Kagura". Danny said as Kagura picked Natsu up and threw him onto her shoulder and turned her gaze away from her brother as she replied to Danny."I'm still not happy with you taking that S Class quest you know". Kagura's tone was very harsh but it was also had a hint of motherly disapproval to it."Come on sis, I was the best person for the job plus I came out alive and with no serious injuries". Kagura sighed as she replied."I know, it's just I don't want to lose anyone else". 

Danny walked up to Kagura and placed his hand on her free shoulder as he said with a tone that was very calm and comforting."I know Kagura I don't want to lose you or Erza or Levy either but you have to trust that we can protect ourselves". Kagura turned her gaze back to Danny as she smiled and walked off to go put Natsu into the infirmary. 

Levy turned her attention for Danny and Kagura back to Lucy as she tapped her best friend on the shoulder and asked the blonde haired female."So Lucy you got your eye on anyone"? Lucy looked at Levy like she was crazy and she shuffled slightly on her stool as she replied in a nervous tone."No...". Levy had a large smile on her face as she retorted."You sure? What about a certain blue haired lightning wizard". Lucy's face the exploded into a crimson blush as she stuttered out."I-I-I d-don't know w-w-what your t-talking a-a-about". Levy's smile seemed to increase in size as she replied to the blushing mess that is her best friend."Lucy I can tell that you really like him so why not tell him". 

Lucy looked down at her feet as she mumbled out."Too scared". Levy's smiled was then replaced with a look of concern as she placed a hand on Lucy's shoulder and said."Lucy I promise that you will feel better after you get this off of your chest, if I may ask what has you so scared"? Lucy looked up at Levy as a few tears began to form in the corners of her eyes."I'm scared of what Erza and especially Kagura are going to do if they find out".  Levy smiled slightly as she said."I'll deal with Erza and Kagura you just go talk to Danny about what you're feeling". 

Lucy smiled at her best friend as she nodded and walked over to where Danny was standing and tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention."Um Danny c-can I t-talk to you in p-private please"? Lucy asked as she stuttered with a faint blush coating her cheeks."Sure Luce". Danny replied as he followed Lucy out of the guild. 

Levy smiled to herself as she said to herself."Go get him Lucy". However before Levy could go do whatever she wanted to do today someone tapped on her shoulder, as she turned to see her scarlet haired sister."Oh Erza what can I do for you"? Levy askeed as a small chill ran down her spine as Erza replied as she questioned."Do you know where Danny is, I would like to speak to him about something"."Well he went out of the guild to talk with Lucy about something". A small scowl was etched on Erza's face as she went to go find her brother and Lucy but Levy grabbed Erza's arm and said."Erza let Lucy talk with Danny because she needs to get something off her chest". 

With Danny and Lucy 

Lucy took Danny to her apartment room, Lucy was nervous the entire walk over because she was thinking of how to confess these feelings she had for him and was trying to think about what she would do if Danny rejected her."So Luce what did you wanna talk about"? Danny asked as he looked at the very nervous Lucy who was staring at the floor, unable to make eye contact with the blue haired lightning mage."Can I ask you a question Danny"? Lucy managed to ask but her voice was quiet almost like she was mumbling the words, Danny just about made out what she had said and nodded in response, Lucy took a deep breath and looked up at Danny as she asked him."Is there someone that you have feelings for"?
