POV: Natsu

"Lucy, will probably never wake up." Those words rang in my head over and over again as I sat next to Lucy's bed.

'Why did Lucy have to be so stupid?'

"Hey Natsu?" Levy said as she walked in with a plate of food. "Are you hungry?"

"No thank you." I said. Levy took a calm deep breath.

"Natsu will you please eat something?" Levy asked. "It's been three days, and you haven't eating anything."

"I'm just not hungry." I said.

"You know Natsu, a person can only survive a certain amount of days before they die of hunger." Levy said, pulling a chair over to the other side of the bed and sat down. "And if you die before Lucy wakes up, she'll be devastated." She said grinning to herself, and held the plate out to me.

"Damn you." I said taking the plate from her.

"But you love me." She said cheerfully. It's true I love Levy as my annoying little sister. Most of the time.

"I'm starting to question that." I said honestly. Levy started giggling. "So you really think she's going to wake up too?"

"Of course I do!" She said. "Why wouldn't I?"

"Well you heard Kiara. She said that Lucy will most likely never wake up." I answered as I took a bite of my food. Levy turned her head to the side.

"Says the person who almost murdered someone because he heard a special someone's heartbeat." Levy said eyeing Lucy. I looked down at my food as I felt my cheeks warm up a bit.

"So you do believe that she will wake up?" I asked her again.

"Yes. I most certainly do." Levy said smiling a bit. "Well I guess I'll go back and help Gajeel with installing the floorboards."

"Hey Levy?" I said right before she walked out the door.

"Hmm?" She hummed.

"Thanks." I said, not only thank her for my food or giving me hope that other people still believe in Lucy as much as I do. Levy nodded and walked out, closing the door.

POV: Levy

I closed the door to the infirmary and ran to the other side of the guild where Gajeel was hammering down wood boards.

"I suppose you heard?" I said as I grabbed a few boards from a pile not very far away from Gajeel and started placing them down in position for Gajeel to nail down.

"I did." He said. "Do you really think she's going to wake up?" I took a deep breath.

"Part of me want to, but . . . ." I trailed off.

"But?" Gajeel asked.

"But. . . ." I started again. I looked around to make sure there wasn't anybody to close to hear. "Okay after Kiara explained what happened to Lucy and everyone went home. I stayed behind and did a test on Lucy. Her soul's magic energy was down so low that if she so much as . . . lite her fist on fire, it would have sucked up the rest of her magic energy in less then two seconds. And then she would have been dead for sure."

"Holy hell!" Gajeel whispered.

"Yeah." I answered. "Soul magic energy is extremely powerful magic. And of she used up that much magic, there's no way she didn't die.

"So she did die? Even if it was for a few minutes?" I nodded slowly.

"I don't know how or why she's still alive. Not that I'm complaining but, to be honest, I would prefer her to be dead then her to be alive and in a coma for the rest of her life, with us thinking that she's going to wake up one of these days. When the truth is, she's never waking up. Because once you use soul magic, you can't get it back." I said.

"And we can't tell Natsu." Gajeel said as he smacked a nail in place, also realizing what my words meant. "Because Lucy is never going to waking up, Because of the lack of soul magic. Is there anyway to get it back?" I shook my head no. Minutes passed of us no saying a word.

"I believe Natsu." I said, breaking the silence.

"I thought you said that she wasn't going to wake up." Gajeel said looking at me.

"I did. But I believe in Natsu's hope." I started to say.

"False hope." Gajeel tried to correct me, but I ignored him.

"Because I know that even if everyone was to think that she's never waking up. Natsu will never give up on her." I said. "And, I sorta hate to admit this, but Natsu has always been right when it comes to Lucy."

"Yeah well those two are practically inseparable." Gajeel said. I got up and grabbed a few more wooden boards.

'A little bit like us, I guess.'

I smiled a little at the thought.

'But that kiss, does it have any deeper meaning to it then just in the moment? Might as well ask him.'

"Hey Gajeel?" I said as I walked back over to him.

"Hmm?" He said looking up at me. . . . chewing on nails.

"You idiot don't eat the nails we need those!" I yelled at him. He groaned and spit them out. "Geez, sometimes I really wonder about you." I whispered to myself.

"Aww the little shrimp cares about me." Gajeel cooed. I groaned in annoyance. "So what did you want shrimp?"

"Ooh . . . ah." I stalled myself.

'Should I really ask? I mean Gajeel couldn't like me that way . . . could he? Aww, screw it!'

"I-I was just wondering about, the a . . . about that kiss the other day." I said. And I could feel that my face was about to catch on fire. "I just wanted to know if it meant anything." Gajeel looked at me in shock and I looked away.

'Damn it! I knew I shouldn't have said anything! Why am I such an idiot?'

"You're joking right?" Gajeel asked. I looked up in confusion. He had a little bit of pink on his cheeks. "Of course it meant something! I don't just going around giving anyone my first kiss!" He whispered yelled at me, and his cheeks got brighter.

'First kiss!!! I was his . . . ! And he was my . . . !'

"I was your first kiss?" I asked. He nodded, a little embarrassed. "Well . . . then would you mind if I was your second?" I asked. Gajeel looked curiously at me.

"No, I wouldn't mind at all." He said calmly. We both leaned in towards each other, and as we got closer I could feel my face getting hotter an hotter, if that was possible. I pulled back.

"I'm sorry." I said covering my face with my hands. "I'm just not used to this sorta thing." The next thing I knew my hands were being held in the air, away from my face, while mine and Gajeel's lips were attached. After a moment Gajeel started to pull away, probably thinking that I changed my mind. To prove him wrong I leaned forwards and smashed our lips together again. A few more moments passed and we finally pulled away panting for air.

"Sorry. I thought you had changed your mind." Gajeel said a little embarrassed.

"Well, guess you thought wrong." I said giving him a smile. I then heard a bunch of cheers and I looked to see Erza, Gray, Juvia, and everyone else in the guild clapping. And then out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mira and Happy giggling historically in the corner.

'What was that word to describe what they're doing? I can't remember the name of it.'

"Well does this make it official?" Erza asked.

"Make what official?" I asked.

"You two dating of course." She said like it was an everyday thing. I looked at Gajeel, and he looked at me. And we both smiled.

(As Levy was talking to Natsu.)

POV: Erza

I was carrying a wood beam over to Master as he was putting them in place for Laxus to hammer them down, to start making the ceiling.

"Hey Erza?" I heard someone call me, I turned to see Jellal. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" I looked up at master, to make sure it was okay to leave for a moment, and he nodded.

"Sure." I answered as I requiped from my construction working outfit back to my regular armor. I followed Jellal to the back of the, working on, new guild. "What's up?" I asked after we were out of ear shot.

"Ummm." Jellal said not facing me. "I just wanted to ask you a really important question. But I don't know how to word it."

"Well you could just be straight forwards." I suggested. "I won't bite."

"You obbviously haven't met yourself." Jellal said turning to face me. He giggled a little at his stupid little joke while I stood there waiting for him to ask me what it was that he wanted. After a few moments he took a deep breath. "Okay. I was just wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" His cheeks instantly turned brighter than my hair.

'He wants to go out on a date with me?'

We just stood there in silence. Jellal waiting to my answer, and me not knowing what to say.

"Your going to say no, aren't you?" Jellal said looking down at the ground. "It's alright, I didn't think you liked me that way anyway." He said as he started to walk pass me to go continue to help the guild. I grabbed his wrist as he passed me and he stopped.

"You've got it all wrong, Jellal." I said not looking at him. "I would love to go on a date with you. But just not right now" I looked up at him to see him a little disappointed. "Maybe after things cool down a bit?" I suggested.

"Yeah." Jellal said, nodding and smiling at my idea. "So, it's a date?" He joked, and I nodded. We walked back out into the main hall and I looked over at Levy and Gajeel. They were leaning in closer to each other. I smacked Gray in the shoulder.

"What?" He asked and I pointed to Gajeel and Levy right as Levy pulled back and was looking down with her hands on her face. Me, Gray and Juvia exchanged looks and we started walking over to them, to make sure everything was okay. Everyone seemed to notice us walking in a different direction and their eyes followed us.

'I swear if he hurt her, his ass is going down! '

Then Gajeel quiclly grabbed Levy's wrists and pulled them away from her face and he smashed his lips to hers. Then Gray, Juvia, and I froze as did everyone else.

After a moment Gajeel started to pull away and Levy leaned forwards and smashed their lips together again. A few more moments passed and they pulled away panting for air.

"Sorry. I thought you had changed your mind." Gajeel said a little embarrassed.

"Well, guess you thought wrong." Levy said giving him a smile. Then me, Gray, Juvia, and everyone else started cheering and clapping. After everything calmed down I walked over to Gajeel and Levy.

"Well does this make it official?" I asked.

"Make what offical?" Levy asked.

"You two dating of course." I like it was obvious. She looked at Gajeel, and he looked back at her. And they both smiled.

"It sure does." Gajeel said for both of them. Everyone erupted into cheers again.

"Drinks!!!" Cans yelled as she started pouring a glass for everyone, and then afterwards decided that one glass wasn't enough for her and started chugging a barrel of booze.

'Come on Lucy, wake up! Your missing out on all the the good stuff!'
