POV: Lucy

I closed my eyes as Erza and the others closed the door. And I had to say something, anything to let them know that I appreciate them for all they have done for me. Even if they hate me right now, I don't care. They need to know that I'm grateful for all they have done for me.

'Thank you. For everything.'

I thought to them the moment before they closed the door. I couldn't let them walk away, not knowing that I love them, all of them. Even if they are the strangest, weirdest, or even the most retarded people in the world! I love them for who they are! And that will never change.

"So little missy thinks she's going to be able to beat me?" Kiara cooed annoyingly.

"I know I'm going to beat you! I'm not afraid to die! After all, I've pretty much died once already!" I said.

"Hmmm. Interesting."

"Whats interesting?" I yelled.

"It's interesting that you are willing to give up your life, a second time, just for some broken kids." Kiara said, not in an annoyed way, but a interested way. She turned her head to the side as a bit of her purple hair falls in front of her rainbow eyes. "Why is that?"

"Look! They might all be stubborn! Or careless! Or even idiotic!" I yelled. "But they are also strong! Caring! Protective! And brave! And yes their broken. But isn't everyone? I know that I have been broken many times! And I know that I will just keep breaking in the future! But I'm not scared! Because I know that my friends will always be there for me! They'll always be there to help put me back together!"

'At least for now, considering how much time I must have left.'

Then an image of Natsu came to my mind. And Erza, Gray, Juvia, Levy, and Gajeel. Their all standing around comforting me when I needed it. I'm doing this to protect them. And probably the last time I will ever see them, was me controlling them to get away from here. So that they didn't get hurt.

'I hope they will forgive me.'

"And because they have fought way to much for me! So now it's my turn to protect them! Even if that means my last dying breath will be taken from me! I will fight to the very end! And I will protect them! Like I'm going to lose them!" I yelled, crying. Kiara looked at me with shock and sorrow in her eyes. Then a tear slowly fell down her cheek. She lifted her hand and touched the delicate drop.

"You're willing to give up your life, without giving it a second thought." Kiara said, and gave a small smile. "You remind me of someone I used to know. She was so selfless. At times I thought that if she didn't help people that she would die. You're very much like her. Considering your her one of her great granddaughters."

POV: Gray

"What do you guys think you're doing?" Mira yelled. "We have got to get in there and help her!" Mira continued to yell at us. We didn't say anything after we had closed the doors and left Kiara and Lucy alone to fight. Once we had walked out the doors, and Erza set Natsu on the ground, Gajeel, Levy, Juvia, Me and Erza lined up in front of the door.

"Yeah are you all not man enough to fight!" Elfman yelled. We all looked forward and not acknowledging anyone. Gramps walked forward and stood in front of the large angry group.

"Did Lucy command you all to stand guard?" Gramps asked all of us. We all shook our heads no at the same time.

"Then why are you all standing here not letting us in?" Gramps asked.

"She asked us to her a favor. So that's what we're doing." I answered, a little rudely. But I didn't care. Lucy asked us to be apart of helping her. And we understood that the only way we can help her right now is by keeping everyone out of it.

"And what would that favor be?" Gramps asked me directly.

"Something that she asked us to fulfill. Personally!" Erza snapped back. She looked like she was grinding her teeth as she stared at the ground, with her hair covering her eyes. She sounded as if she had struggled to spit those words out. Erza had never disrespected Gramps, that was a first for her, but she probably feels the same way as I do, that we're needed here. Then Suzie and Reggie walked out of the crowd and next to Gramps.

"Would you like me make them move?" Reggie asked Gramps. Gramps seemed to be thinking, and then nodded after taking a deep breath. I wasn't to surprised that Gramps had said yes. He just wants to help protect family. Just like the rest of us. But for some reason I felt like we were doing the right thing. Stopping them from interfering with Lucy's fight. "Move out of the way." Reggie said loudly to us. I felt the magic come to my body and try to take control.

"No!" I yelled, as I fought back, causing my body to start trembling. I looked to see everyone else was fighting it as well. I closed my eyes concentrating on pushing that magic away from my body, for everyone's sake. And then, I did it. I opened my eyes to see that the others had done it as well. I stood up straighter with my hands in my pockets.

"What?" Suzie asked in shock along with many others.

"I said, move out of the way!" Reggie yelled taking a step forward. This time I didn't even feel the magic attack my body, but I felt a barrier on the outside of my body with the magic pushing against it. "That's not possible!"

"Looks like you underestimate Fairy Tail's strongest team." Natsu literally choked out. I look to my left to see him leaning against the wall with a bit of blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, he also looked like he was fighting the poison like hell. To be honest he just looked like plain crap.

"Look who's talking." I said.

"Don't you start that shit with me right now." Natsu said, and I smirked.

'I wonder what kind of pain he's feeling. Not that I want to find out. Come on Lucy, before it kills him!'

"Anyway I came over here to tell you all about Suzie and Reggie." Gramps said.

"Is that even a good idea? I mean with The other guild right there?" Gajeel asked pointing to Shadow Fang.

"Yes. It is perfectly fine. They have also been added to the information that I am about to tell everyone." Gramps said waving his hand in the air.

"What do you mean?" Levy asked.

"Well after you guys got home from the mission and I brought Suzie and Reggie up to my office they offered to work with us." Gramps said crossing his arms.

"And you trusted them?" Erza asked loudly.

"Yes I did. At least I did after they explained to me what is going on with their guild." Gramps responded. "Everyone in Shadow Fang is attached to Kiara's soul. So as long as she is alive, Shadow Fang guild members are under her control. With just a thought she could kill them all."

"How did that happen?" Juvia asked. "And why aren't they attacking now?"

"Well Kiara is a bit distracted by Lucy at the moment. And Lucy also has a bit of control on them as well, since she is also attached to Kiara. And Kiara was the one that started Shadow Fang after she left first Master Mavis here in Magnolia. And when someone starts a guild every first master stays attached to their guild." Gramps explained.

"Kind of like marriage? Like death do us part?" I asked.

"Sort of. Except that the first master soul can stay with the guild. Not all first master's knew this so not every guilds first master is still attached." Gramps said. "But then again Kiara was also not killed. So Shadow Fang's first master is still Kiara. And when first Master Mavis turned Kiara into a tree, Kiara attached herself not to the guild, but the guild members."

"What!!!" Everyone in Fairy Tail yelled.

"Wait so you're all the first members of Shadow Fang?" I asked, and they all nodded. "How is that possible."

"Well Kiara did attach herself to all the guild members and we were attached to her. As long as she's alive, we stay here on earthland." Reggie explained.

"What do you mean 'stay here on earthland'?" Erza asked.

"Because Kiara attached herself only to our souls, if she was to die, we will be set free from her." Suzie said.

"Wait so everyone in the guild, is dead?" Levy asked.

"Essentially yes." Reggie said. "But our souls still live on. At least until the day that Kiara dies. Then we will be free, and be able to move onto the Heavens."

"But what about Kiara? Is Lucy just fighting her soul?" Natsu asked. I looked at him and he seemed to looking worse than he was a little bit ago.

"No. Since Kiara is a Pure Dragon Slayer, that makes her stronger. And she was able to save up enough magic energy over the past few weeks to be able to create herself a new body." Suzie said.

"And she's told you all of this?" Gramps asked.

"Well I may be a professional with Depletion Magic. But my husband did teach me a thing or two." Suzie crossed her arms, and smiling.

"Huh? Husband!" We all said.

"Yep. My husband. Also Kiara's father." Suzie said.

"What!"
