"Lucy, where have you been?" Asked Levy to her best friend, the one that she hadn't heard a word from since a whole year. "You've suddenly stopped writing me."

"You suddenly stopped writing us." Said Mira ushering to herself and the entire guild who chuckled at her words softly along with the blonde haired girl, who was hugging her form while looking at all the familiar faces she had missed dearly.

"No, seriously, you used to send a letter to the guild daily, but suddenly stopped 1 year ago. Why?" Asked Levy to her which made Lucy sigh.

"I'm sorry that I didn't communicate with you for a whole year, it's just that, we've been moving around a lot throughout this mission, so it was hard to keep in touch with you all for a while." Said Lucy, smiling tiredly at all of her friends. "I'm sorry if I had caused you any worry because of my silly action."

"What are you taking about Lucy?" Chuckled Macao at her. "You don't to apologise to us!!"

"Yeah!! You did nothing wrong!" Added Max to Macao's statement sanding the blonde haired girl a smile which she immediately responded to with a smile of her own.

"Yeah, Lucy didn't do anything wrong." Said Juvia, smiling over at her blonde haired rival which she had missed a lot. "Lucy at least tried her best in writing Fairy Tail, and all of her friends appreciate that, right guys?"

"Hell yeah!!"

"Totally!"

"No doubt!!"

"Thank you guys, Juvia." Said Lucy nodding over at the blue haired who smiled at her lightly.

Thought Lucy could see the hurt adoring the girl's deep dark blue eyes, Lucy knew very well the reason for them, and it certainly wasn't because of her sudden cut of contacts with the guild.

"How are you, Juvia?" Asked Lucy to the blue haired girl who's eyes widened at Lucy's words, a fake smile quickly with zero hesitation making it's way onto Juvia's features.

Lucy smiled sadly at this, feeling pitty for the blue haired girl who she knew was hurting badly.

The blue haired girl hadn't seen Gray in 2 years, and she was sure that the girl missed him deeply.

Why was she hiding it?

Lucy frowned at her thought.

Really, why was she? Juvia never missed a chance to show how much she loved her "Gray-sama" dearly, so why wasn't she crying a river over the dark haired boy?
"Juvia is fine Lucy." Said Juvia, the same fake smile still plastered on her face. "So don't worry about her."

Lucy felt the need to cry at this.

She was getting seriously emotional lately.

"That's good." Said Lucy eyeing the girl with care, as Juvia giggled at her, the same smile still persisting to stay on her face.

"Lucy?" Called Gajeel over to the blonde haired girl, who peered at him curiously.

"Yes, Gajeel?"

"Laxus wants to talk with you for a minute."

Lucy gulped at this.

She knew.

She knew the two dragon slayers would quickly found her out.

Wendy did before, so what made them any different?

"Is that alright?"

Lucy gave him a shaky nod, slowly getting up from the table she was seated on, saying her goodbyes to everyone who chuckled at her, as the blonde haired girl excused herself from the circle she was the center of.

Walking towards Gajeel who, weirdly, smiled at her kindly. The smile that he gave her was so truce full and pure, that made Lucy's heart to flutter out of joy, as she never seen the boy smile like that at anyone other then Levy.

But she knew why he was giving her that smile. It wasn't out of joy of seeing her after so long, and it certainly wasn't because he was found of her deeply.

It was out of pitty.

She could see it, deeply in his eyes.

And what hurt her more, was the fact that he was trying his best in hiding it while guiding her towards Laxus's office.

The fact that she was also met with same smile and eyes as Gajeel upon opening Laxus's office doors, made her want to coward away into a corner, away from the two dragon slayers.

"Lucy." Said Laxus, greeting the girl with a nod of his head, his smile that pained Lucy deeply never faltering out of his features.

"Hello Laxus." Said Lucy, nodding herself in greeting towards the older, giving him a tired smile, hoping he would get the hint and stop being so fake with her along with the man behind her.

But, he didn't.

"Congratulations on becoming the master." She said towards him, as a genuine smile finally debuted on the man's face at her words. "You deserve it."

"Thank you." Said Laxus to her kindly, his smile finally real and genuine, which made Lucy heart to feal at ease a bit.

"Lucy, I wanted to ask you something." Said Laxus, his behavior doing an 360° percent change, as he looked at the blonde in front of him with serious which made Lucy gulp.

"...And what would that be?" Asked Lucy with a barely audible voice, feeling like she was going to throw up.

"How long?"

Lucy wanted to cry at this, feeling tears already brimming her chocolate brown eyes.

"Excuse me?" Asked Lucy with a slight laugh, her voice cracking in the process, which made Laxus to look at her softly.

"How long Lucy?"

A tear made it's way out of Lucy's eye, her gaze dropping down on hrr lap, as she clutched her stomach tightly.

'How long?'

"Lucy you have been counting, right?"

Counting?

Had she been 'counting'?

Of course she did.

"Of course." Lucy said chuckling darkly, while sniffling, as the black haired man behind her offered her a tissue which the blonde haired girl thanked him dearly for.

"Lucy, I'm going to ask you again." Asked Lucy, as he got out of his seat, and made his way to stand in front of the blonde haired as he crouched down in front of her while looking at jer with soft and reassuring eyes that Lucy appreciated dearly, as the blonde haired gurl couldn't detect a hint of pitty in those eyes.

"How long have you been pregnant with Natsu's child?"

Lucy bit on her lip hard, as her tears came down her face even harder.

"3...3 month." Asked Lucy letting out a loud gasp as she cried. "3 month."

Laxus hugged the crying girl, who burried her face in his chest.

The door to his office suddenly opened.

"Hey, Laxus? The oth--"

Mira eyes widened in shock at Lucy crying in front of her, as she covered her mouth to prevent the loud gasp that she wanted to let out slip out of her mouth.

"Lucy!!" Exclaimed Mirajane, walking over to the girl and quickly taking her from Laxus tight hold on her upper torso.

"Lucy!!" Exclaimed Mira hastily, gripping the blonde's shoulders tightly as she looked at her eyes still crying eyes. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

Mira softened her voice wgen seeing Lucy's bloodshed eyes, and high fever on her forehead.

"And how long have you been crying?"

Lucy wimpered at this.

She's been crying for three months.

She's been crying for the past three month.

And with that thought lingering in her mind, the blonde passed out in the white haired girl's arms, darkness quickly invading her vision.
