Lucy's P.O.V

     Lisanna came back a year ago and I have been ignored since. Everybody was ignoring me except Levy, Mira, Juvia, Cana, Evergreen, Wendy, Happy,Carla,Laxus, Raijinshu, Pantherlily,  Erza,  and Master.

     Since I have been ignored for a year I didn't bother going to the guild. The girls and Exceeds would come over my house sometimes for sleepovers and just to simply chat because they knew I didn't want to go the the guild.

     Ever since I was ignored I have been training my arse off for almost a year. I went on lots of hard jobs including S-Class ones that the money that I get rewarded with started piling up. I had over a 5 years' worth of jewels for rent but the amount of jewels was still too much, and I didn't want to sell my apartment because it was closest to the guild hall, so I ended up buying back the Heartfilia Konzern. 

     Later on the workers came back after hearing news of the Konzern was bought again and they saw me. They started to work there again and we decided to make it into an orphanage(after seeing so many kids on the streets looking like they did not want to live anymore).

      I sipped my green tea while sitting on the couch when I looked at the clock to see that it was two in the morning since I woke up from a strange dream. It was about mom which I usually have but this one was really weird and realistic. 

     I sighed in despair, knowing I won't be going to sleep anytime soon, and got up to place my cup into the sink. I went into the bathroom and got ready for bed.

???'s P.O.V

     Lucy came out of the bathroom after 45 minutes with a towel, shielding her body from the cold. She sighed deeply and flopped on her bed. I turned around, disappointed, to go search for my 'chosen one' when I heard the strange woman interrogate herself, " Am I weak? Useless? Unreliable? A replacement? Why am I being ignored?" I frowned and was about to tap on the glass window and tell her otherwise but the leader of the Zodiacs beat me to it. I turned around and took off with a quiet sound to The Realm.

Loke's P.O.V

     When I felt an unknown presence within Lucy's house I quickly forced open my gate and stood in front of Lucy. I looked from the corner of my glasses to see a small shadow by the window before it flew off. ' I wonder what that was? A bird maybe? No. It can't be. No bird is that big.' I thought before I heard Lucy try to call me back to conscious. I snapped out of my thoughts and turned to look at her.

     She had a worried expression on her face before I smiled."It's nothing Princess." I lied. She didn't look convinced but sighed and brushed it off. I mentally sighed in relief before asking, "What happened now Princess?"

Lucy's P.O.V

     "What happened now Princess?" Loke asked. I looked up at him and asked, "Am I weak? Useless? Do you want a better key holder? Am I not worthy? A replacement for Lisanna? What did I do to be ignored?!" He shook his head before nearly shouting, "Of course you're not weak! You are stronger then any of my previous key holders! You are very worthy of us because you can summon more than 3 Zodiac keys at a time, Lucy! You hold 10 Zodiac keys including mine!

     "Look Princess, you can ask any of your spirits and ask if they are happy to be with you and I guarantee that they would all say yes including Aquarius. But don't let her know that I said that though. She'll kill me!" He whispered to me. I giggled and whispered, " I guess but why am I being ignored by the guild ever since Lisanna came back?" He sighed and answered, "I don't know why but just know you will never be ignored by us." I smiled and nodded. " Now please leave Loke." I asked.

     Loke cocked his head to the side in confusion. "I need to change Loke! So go back." I shouted. He tried to look  but before he could I force closed his gate. While heavily blushing I sighed and changed into my everyday wear.

     I stretched my arms before sitting down on my desk and wrote my daily letter to mom. After writing mom's daily letter I continued writing my book for Levy before the sun rose.

     After 4 hours I stopped writing and stretched my stiff arms while putting my book away. I stood up and stretched my legs. I looked at the nearby clock and saw that it was 8:15 so decided to cook a quick breakfast before heading out. I cooked some eggs, waffles, and bacon. I sat down with my plate and ate while looking at the clock which read 8:35. 'I still have some time before 9:20.' 10 minutes passed so i washed my dishes before grabbing my keys and walking out the door.

     Locking the door I walked to the train station. I checked the time on the way to the train station, it read 9:13. I mentally sighed in relief before purchasing my ticket and waiting for the train to arrive.

     While I was waiting somebody sat next to me. I turned to see a small girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She looked like she was alone so I asked her, "Excuse me but where are your parents?" She turned to look at me before answering softly, "They aren't here anymore." I cocked my head in confusion. 'Did she leave her house without her parents? Or is she.......?' To confirm my thought I asked, "Where are your parents?" She slowly shooked her head and looked on the verge of tears so I gently pulled her towards me and hugged her.

     She sniffed while tears rolled down her porcelain cheeks as I continued hugging her and soothingly rubbed her back. After a while she stopped crying but held onto me so I quietly asked her, "Do you want a family?" she nodded. I smiled and said,  "Well I'm about to go to an orphanage do you want to come with me?" She looked up and nodded while smiling.  I smiled back and just in time the train arrived.

     I stood up and tried to give her my hand to take but she did the carrying gesture. I sighed and picked her up and I walked into the train looking for a seat. The people we passed gave me disgusted looks which I brushed off. We found a seat next to the window vacant so I sat down quickly with the child next to me holding my arm.

     I smiled sweetly before asking, "I never got your name did I?" she shook her head then I answered. "Then what's your name?" She quietly said, "Megumi" ( The name means blessing or grace.) I smiled and replied, " My name's Lucy." A small smile was plastered on her face while she hugged my side.

     3 hours passed since Megumi fell asleep still hugged my side. During that time I have been looking out the window. The person on the speaker kept shouting "Heartfilia Konzern!" about 5 times now so I picked Megumi up and walked off the train. I walked down the path to the Heartfilia Konzern.

     When I arrived at the top one of the workers saw me. She helped me carry Megumi to the couch inside.

     I looked around and saw the children running about. One child saw me and shouted, "Look everybody it's Lucy!" then started running to me before jumping on me which caused the other kids to copy him. More than 100 kids jumped on me and successfully knocked me off my feet. I laughed while the kids kept asking me questions like if we could bake, draw, or play. I slowly got up with the help of the other workers.

     I shouted, "Ok, listen up! We are going to start by grabbing all the materials for drawing ok?" They answered, " Yes!" I nodded and replied, "You know the drill go get the materials!" and all the kids scattered. I giggled and walked to the kitchen to begin baking. While mixing the dough Megumi woke up and joined me. I tied an apron around her waist before she helped mix the bowl.

     While she was mixing the bowl I preheated the oven then helped her mix the dough. After the dough started to come together I left Megumi to mix by herself while I grabbed the tray to put the parchment paper and greased it down with cooking spray.

     Soon the other kids started helping me bake while others were drawing and playing with the cars, trains, and dolls. Most of the other kids were outside on the playground with Plue. I called Virgo out to ask if she had a lacrima, which she did, to play some fun music.

     One after one the trays went into the oven to cook for 10 minutes. We ended up dancing to the songs while waiting for the cooks outside. 10 minutes later the cookies were done and everybody came inside to wash their hands to eat the cookies and draw for a break from playing. 

     'I really love to do this for the children. At least other kids don't have to experience what I had to when I younger.' I thought. I looked over at Megumi and saw that she was really happy to be with the other children so I decided to leave her here with the other children.

     After a while the children had finished eating and were talking with other kids. "Ok, time to get ready for bed! Come on!" They all groaned but reluctantly got up and went to the bathrooms. I went into the closet, which had all the bathroom supplies, to get a spare toothbrush and clothes for Megumi.

     I found Megumi on the couch waiting for everybody to finish so I tapped her shoulder and handed her the items and lightly pushed her towards the bathroom. She went into the bathroom and copied what the other kids were doing.

     I went into the living room and went in search for the bedtime books to read for the kids tonight. All the kids went into the room I was waiting in and laid down. They waited patiently for everybody to lay down including Megumi. I read 3 books in all before all the kids fell asleep. I kissed each of their foreheads and whispered, "Good Night." before closing the door.

     On the way to the door I said, "Good Night and good bye." to all the employees. But before I could open the door I felt a tug on my shirt. I looked down to see Megumi in the clothes I gave her including her toothbrush. I bent down and whispered, "Go back to sleep Megumi. I'll see you tomorrow." before standing back up and opening the door. But Megumi grabbed my shirt again and stopped me from leaving. I turned back around and Megumi said, "But I don't want to stay here. I want to go with you!" I smiled softly and shook my head. "No, you should stay here where all the other children are."

     She shook her head furiously and hugged my leg. I picked her up and said, "Are you sure you want to stay with me?" She nodded happily and I sighed deeply before replying, "Ok." Megumi's eyes sparkled with joy before hugging my arm.

     I waved the workers 'bye' while walking down the pathway to the train station. I looked at the clock and it read 8:57. I looked at the stars in the sky and pointed out the constellations to Megumi while waiting for the train to arrive. When I finished pointing out the Orion's Belt the train arrived. I walked in the train and found a close seat near the window. Megumi had fallen asleep while I was pointing out the constellations so I let her sit in my lap for the whole ride.

     3 hours passed and I just got off the train and started walking home. When I arrived at Strawberry Street I walked into the apartment and unlocked my door.

     Once I got inside my apartment I went into my bedroom and laid Megumi down before locking my front door and got ready for bed. When I finished brushing my teeth and changing my clothes I laid down on my bed with Megumi and fell asleep.

     (I like this saying a lot because it's very true.They bottle up their feelings so much so they just need to let loose once and a while. Tears doesn't show weakness it just means you're human too.)
