~Jellal's POV~

I don't know why, but all the guys seem to really hate this 'Evan' guy. When Lucy had brought him up, all the guys got extremely depressed and angry.

We waited inside the elevator for Levy, who was now being carried in by Gajeel. Wendy hit the lobby button. The doors slowly closed and we began to descend.

I waited patiently in the corner, trying to avoid looking at Erza. The last time I really spoke to her was...

Oh god. It was when we had given them their 'second origin'.

The memory of Erza and I on the beach popped into my head. I stared at my feet, trying to get the image out of my head.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a little girl's voice, "Jellal? Are you feeling okay? Your face is all red."

I looked up and saw everyone's eyes on me. Except for Erza, who was looking down at the ground. Her face was the color of her scarlet hair.

"I-I am sorry. I'm fine, really" I waved my hands in front of my face and backed into the wall of the elevator. I felt the cold metal against my sweaty back.

Before anyone could question me, the elevator opened to reveal the lobby. Levy and Lucy were the first to walk out, soon everyone followed.

Lucy waved to someone in the corner of the lobby. The figure stood up and ran up to her. I could now see the man's features, he had dirty blonde hair, a perfect tan, dark blue eyes, and a handsome face. He wore a blue collared shirt, with the resort's logo on it, and tan shorts.

"Oh hello girls!" The man said with a grin. He turned to Erza. He leaned down and grabbed her hand, then planted a kiss on her delicate hand. "it's so lovely to see all you ladies."

I felt a tug in my gut, and I glared at the blonde. Erza had the slightest hint of pink on her cheeks. She was so cute when she blushed. I clenched my fists, knowing this man was the one who made her blush.

"H-h-hello, E-Evan" Erza stuttered. He nervously took back her hand.

Before he could kiss any of the other's hands, he glanced at the large swarm of guys behind them.

"Girls, who are these...gentlemen?" Evan asked, annoyed. He pointed at finger at us.

The girls turned and looked at us and all of them began to blush.

~Lucy's POV~

I looked over and saw all of my friends, who looked furious with Evan. What's their problem? Oh wait, crap. They just saw what Evan did!

I could feel my cheeks begin to burn up, along with the others. Wendy turned and gestured to the guys, "These are our friends. We were hoping they could come with us!" She said sweetly.

Evan glanced back at them and politely replied, "Sure. Of course thy can come."

A wave of relief washed over me. Then Mira turned to us, "That's wonderful! Now, does everyone have their keys?" She dangled her set of room keys in her left hand.

.

.

.

"CRAP! I FORGOT MINE!" All the girls exclaimed.

Mira laughed and turned now to the boys. Most were rolling their eyes as we were fidgeting around.

"We will be back in a few minutes. They forgot their keys," she pointed a finger at us, accusingly, " until we get back, you guys stay here with Evan"

Without a response, Mira ran towards the elevators again, gesturing for us to follow her.

~Natsu's POV~

We watched as the elevator doors shut.

"So, who are you guys?" a rude voice hissed. We turned and saw Evan, glaring back at us.

"Didn't you hear Wendy before? We're their friends." Romeo crossed his arms over his chest. He raised a brow as Evan stared at him.

Evan began to laugh to himself, "Yeah, but who are you to them?"

We all recoiled, taken aback by Evan's response. We just looked back at him with blank expressions.

He snickered, "oh, I get it. You like those girls, don't you?" The blonde began to laugh hysterically, grasping his sides. "Wow! T-that's just....perfect! You guys actually think you have a chance with those babes?"

I really hated this guy, with a burning passion. I glanced over and saw Gray clenched his teeth. Gajeel's hand was slowly turning into iron. Jellal looked ready to throw Evan into the wall. Even Romeo looked as if he was going to beat him up.

"So let's me guess. Shorty over there," he gestured towards Romeo, "has a crush on little Wendy. How adorable" Evan said, mockingly.

He turned to Gajeel and Jellal, "One of you likes the red head in armor and the other likes the blue haired girl with the headband. What's her face, Leby?" Evan guessed.

"Levy." Gajeel snarled through gritted teeth.

Evan smirked, "So, you like her. Big tough guy likes a sweet innocent girl. That's a laugh." He then strode over to Gray and leaned close to his face.

"I can read you like an open book. The way you looked at... Juvia was it? You obviously like her, but you don't even know that yourself. Sad really. She really seemed to like you, but that will change soon now, won't it?" Evan sneered. He patted Gray on the head then headed straight for me.

He was about an inch or two taller than I was. I already want to kill this guy, and now he goes and makes me more angry by being taller. "So that only leaves Flame boy. You like Lucy, right? Well I can tell you this, she will never like an idiot pyro like you."

That's it. I've snapped. I raised my fist to punch this guy in the face, but he suddenly grabs my face with one hand, and slams me into the ground.

"Now now, flame boy. What would Lucy say if she saw you hurt poor little me? She would despise you." He spat the last words at me.

I wanted to make him feel pain. I wanted nothing but to slam his entire body into that wall. But he was right, Lucy would hate me.

I pushed my hand on the tile floor, helping myself stand. I got back up to my feet and shot Evan an 'Erza Glare'.

"Sorry we're late!" I heard Levy's voice from behind me. I spun around and saw the girls sprinting towards us. They all held their keys proudly in the air.

They stopped and looked at us. "What did we miss? You're all so quiet. It's wierd." Lisanna spoke up. She had her arm pressed against Lucy's. A small smile spread on my face.

The smile quickly vanished when I heard Evan's voice from behind me, "Oh nothing, we were just discussing your guild's performance in the Grand Magic Games!" He slapped his hand on my back, forcing me to stumble forward.

Evan then walked up to Lucy and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Let's get started with the tour! Now Lucy, you're a writer, correct? I want to show you a great space for writing in peace." He continued to lead her towards the large glass doors, with the others following close behind.

But the strangest thing was Juvia. She walked past Gray and towards Evan, without even giving him a second glance.

"What the hell?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, does everyone hate Evan and want him to get pushed off a cliff?

What's with Juvia? Why is even such a d**k? All will be revealed in Chapter 9!
