"We made it back alive!!" Yuki shouted, entering the guild hall. Yu, Hayato, Yui, Silver, River and I followed and were greeted with cheers. Master Rosie came up to us, dressed in a short blue skirt and a white T-shirt. She had a long, thin sword at her left side and fingerless gloves on her hands.
"Just in time, too," she said.
"What's the matter?" Yui asked.
"A meeting," she said and we grabbed the nearest empty table. Once everyone was silent, Master Rosie looked at each one of our faces. "The Tigertallon Dark Guild is on the move."
"What!?" Yuki and Hayato shouted together, jumping up.
"What's their deal?" I whispered.
"Tigertallon," Yui started, "a guild that hasn't been active for nine years. Hayato and Yuki's villages were the last to get destroys before they went into hiding. The two of them were the only ones who survived in their villages. Master Rosie, my mother, and some other powerfully guild members found them and brought them back. Hayato was first to come here and Yuki a came a few days after. Since that day, they've been wanting revenge."
"Wow," I said. "I never knew there were such guilds."
"Me neither," River and Silver agreed.
"Sit down, Hayato, Yuki," Master Rosie said sternly. They did and Master Rosie continued. "Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, Sabertooth and Fairy Tail have been the four chosen guild to take them down, once and for all. We have been given the opportunity to have four guild members fight them." Everyone cheered and roared with determination.
   "So loud!" River said. Since she also had super hearing, she hated loud things or events.
"Anyways," Master Rosie said, getting everyone's attention. "These are the four wizards! Yui Tendo!"
"Naturally," she said and everyone cheered for her.
"Yuki Bronze accompanied by Yu!" Master Rosie shouted. Yuki grinned. Everyone cheered again. "Hayato Kyragane!"
"Yes," he grinned, crossing his arms to look cool.
"And last, but not least," Master Rosie stopped, making it suspenseful. "Ruby Cress!"
"What?!" I shouted, looking at the guild staring at me. "W-why me?!"
"Because your one of the few holder magic users we have," Master Rosie said. "Also because I see something powerful deep inside you."
"Way to go, Ruby!" Yuki said, smiling at me. I nodded, smiling back. But then I looked at Silver and River, their faces stunned, angry and unhappy all together.
"Sorry, guys," I said. "Wait for me, though."
"We will," Sliver said.
"We always have and always will," River said.
   "You'll leave tomorrow at noon," Master Rosie said. It was around 1 and everyone went back to what they were doing before the meeting.
"How long has the guild been around for?" I asked Master Rosie.
"Well," she started, "I'm the 11th Master of this guild. First Master was Mavis Vermilion, second was Precht Gaebolg, and Makarov Dreyar was the third, sixth and eighth. Macao Conbolt was fourth while Makarov was on a short leave with the disappearance of Tenrou Island. Then Gildarts Clive was the fifth and Erza Scarlet was seventh for the same reasons. The ninth Guild Master was Laxus Dreyar, since Master Makarov was his grandfather and he had passed. Tenth Master was my mother, Lenni Imo, who passed two years ago. That's when I became Master."
"I've heard of most of those people," Silver said. "They defeated most of the dark guilds, but more kept rising for revenge and stuff like that."
"Yes," Master Rosie said. "That's how most of the Fairy a Tail generation before us passed. Tigertallon, Hunterclaw and Shadowpaw are the newest dark guilds. Most of the other Fairy Tail generation fell in their hands." I stood up, anger rising inside me.
   "I will not tolerate people who think destroying the world is good!" I shouted. "This time, we will defeat them, with or without the other Fairy Tail generation!"
   "Now that's Fairy Tail spirit!" a older boy shouted from the door. Everyone looked up and saw the shadows of five people and two flying cats. The boy who shouted was tall and muscular with spiky pink hair. He had black eyes and a grin on his face. He wore an open-collared, one-sleeved long overcoat version of his original waistcoat, which wasn't tucked in or zipped. You could see his chest and right arm, with his Fairy Tail mark right under his right shoulder. He wore white knee-length trousers with black ribbon ties, a thick black wristband on his left wrist and black open-toed sandals. He had a white, scale-patterned scarf that was wrapped casually around his neck.
"It's Team Natsu!" Yu shouted.
"Natsu!" Yuki shouted, running over to the group.
"What's up, Yuki?" Natsu said, smiling at him.
   "I've been practicing my Fire Dragon Slayer Magic and I want to battle you!" Yuki said, grinning at him.
   "Your going to battle him right when we get back?" a brown eyed girl said. Her hair was long and part of it on the right was wrapped in a red ribbon to make a ponytail. She wore a orange shirt with yellow trim and a short blue skirt. She had a leather belt that had a right side pouch holding her Celestial Keys and a black whip with a heart shaped end. I could see all 12 Zodiac keys, plus a few other silver ones. Her brown heeled boots matched her belt and went up to her knees.
   "Why not, Lucky Lucy?" he asked. Lucy, acting fast, grabbed her whip and slammed it down on his head.
   "Don't call me that!" she growled at him. The guild hall roared with laughter and as a pretty, scarlet haired girl crossed her arms. She wore silver armor, a short, navy blue skirt and short, black boots. She glanced around the room, her diamond earrings shimmering, looking for something.
   "Where's the strawberry cake, Ami?" she asked walking over to the bar.
   "Right here, Erza," Ami said, taking a strawberry cake out from under the counter. Erza started eating it, her eyes shimmering as another boy stood behind her. His spiky dark blue hair partly covered a small scar above his left eye. His eyes were a cool, dark blue color that matched his pale, muscular structure. He wore a navy blue shirt under a zipped, white coat. He wore a brown belt with a silver buckle that held up his black pants. He had a silver chain necklace that had a sword with a stone in the middle and a bracelet on his right wrist.
   "Come on, Erza," he said. "Let's take another job already."
   "Not now, Gary!" she shouted, her eyes piercing right through him. He back off after that. A girl with waist long, dark blue hair and brown eyes stood near Lucy as they looked around the guild. Her hair was in pigtails held up by red animal-ear-like attachments. She had a simple dress that had blue and orange-yellow wavy strips and white points at the bottom. She the had wing-like attachments on her arms and legs.
"What are you going to do now, Wendy?" Lucy asked the girl.
"I think I'll wait to take on another job," she answered, watching Yuki and Natsu tackle each other.
   "Good thinking," another white cat said. She wore a small pink dress and a pink ribbon was tied to her tail.
   "I need a break, Charle," Wendy said.
   "Let's get another job, Happy!" Natsu shouted, running over to the request board. A blue cat wearing a green tied up bag on his back flew over to Natsu.
   "Aye, sir!" he agreed, putting a paw in the air.
   "HOLD IT!!" Master Rosie shouted. Everyone stopped and looked at her. "Yuki, Hayato, Yui and Ruby need to rest up for tomorrow."
"Why?" Natsu asked.
"Cause we're going to kick Tigertallon's butt!" Yuki shouted, punching the air in front of him.
"WHAT?!?" Natsu shouted. "WITHOUT ME!?!?"
"Sorry, Natsu," Master Rosie said, "but you'll have to wait for the next time." Natsu groaned and Lucy and Wendy giggled.
"Why can't one of them go in my place?" I asked. Master Rosie shook her head.
"I wouldn't be able to tell the other guilds in time," she said. "But you'll do great. You'll be fine if you stick with Hayato and Yuki."
"Stick with me forever, then," Hayato said, winking at me. I slapped him, glaring at him.
"Control your stripping problem," I growled at him.
"So you've become your master, eh?" Gary asked, looking at Hayato. The two shirtless ice wizards grinned at each other.
"How about you, Yuki?" Natsu asked. "Have you master Fire Dragon Secret Arts?"
"No, not yet," Yuki said. "I've been working on it, though." The two Fire Dragon Slayers stood back to back and a rivalry went on between them.
"To pass the time," Master Rosie said, "how about Natsu and Yuki vs. Gray and Hayato."
"It's on," Gray said, glaring at Natsu. "You better be ready, Fire Boy."
"The battle will be in fifteen minutes," Master Rosie said. "Outside in the back courtyard."
"I think I'll pass," I said, walking towards the door. "See you guys later?" I asked River and Silver. They nodded and I left, walking towards our house. I looked up ahead and saw Lucy and Wendy walking in the same direction.
"Hey!" I shouted, running towards them. They looked at me and smiled.
"Your the girl form before who was hanging out with Yuki and Hayato," Lucy said. "I'm Lucy Heartfilia."
"Ruby Cress," I said.
"Wendy Marvell," Wendy said. "I heard Master say your name."
"I have to go and defeat Tigertallon with Yui, Yuki and Hayato," I said. "It's not going to be that fun."
   "Well," Lucy started, "I turned out to be a great wizard thanks to Natsu, Gray and Erza. Not mentioning the others in the guild and the others from the other guilds." She motioned towards Wendy.
   "Really?" she asked.
   "You taught me that even a little kid could defeat huge monsters," Lucy said. "You defeated the monster guarding the first Face, if I'm not mistaken."
   "Yeah," she said, "but that was mostly luck."
   "Doesn't matter," Lucy continued. "You still won and kept on winning, as long as we were there with you."
   "HEY, LUCY!!!" Natsu shouted, running towards us with a cloud of dust behind him. Happy was flying behind him, a smile on his face. "Come watch us Dragon Slayers win!" Natsu said when they got to us.
   "Aye!" Happy agreed. "Come on, Lucy!"
   "No thanks," Lucy said, putting her hand up. "I had to deal with you for a month on that S-class quest we just took! I want to take a break!"
   "Same here!" Wendy shouted before Natsu could ask her.
   "Who are you?" he asked, just noticing me. Wendy, Lucy, Happy and I face-palmed and Natsu looked at us, his head tilted.
   "This is Ruby Cress," Lucy said. "The girl who had 'Fairy Tail spirit' says you."
   "Oh yeah!" Natsu said. "Your the one going with Hayato, Yuki and Yui to kick som Dark Guilds butt!"
   "Sure," I said. "At least your enthusiasm is giving me a little more courage. Well, I gotta run, so later!" I started running towards out house and quickly ran inside. I went up the stairs to get to my room on the second floor. I looked around the room and put my backpack on my bed. I took my keychain off my belt and looked at my keys. I took Virgo's key off and looked at it.
   "Open, Gate of the Maiden, Virgo!" I shouted, turning the key in the air. Virgo, looking the same as when I met her, put her right hand in front of her stomach and bowed a little.
   "You called?" she asked.
   "Let's start with the contract," I said.
   "I'm free every weekday of every month," Virgo said. I scribbled it down on a notepad I kept with the keys and Virgo looked at me. "What do you want me to call you, Master?"
   "Um..." I thought for a moment. "Master is fine."
   "Ok, Master," she said. "May I leave, for it is a Saturday."
   "Ok," I said, holding the key up. Virgo disappeared with a small pop and left me alone in my room. I walked over to the empty bookcase and decided to get some book at a bookstore in town.
"Open, Gate of the Canis Minor, Nikora!" I shouted, looking down at the floor. A small, sea green thing appeared on my floor. It had small legs, feet, arms and hands. It had a orange, drill-shaped nose and black eyes. "Hey, Pip," I asked, "wanna go get some history books?" Pip nodded and I grabbed a small bag from inside my backpack. I put some money in it and my phone I hadn't looked at for a week. I then looked down at Pip and smiled. He made a small noise and we walked downstairs.
When I opened the front door, I heard a explosion and smoke was coming from the guild hall. It looked like the guild hall had the smoke coming from inside, but I knew it was from the back courtyard. Pip followed me down the road, to the right, then a left, then another right until we got to the bookstore. I pushed the door open and a bell jungled above my head. Pip followed me inside and I picked him up.
   "Welcome," a woman said from behind a desk. She wore a pretty silk dress and her wavy chestnut hair flowed behind her back. "I'm the daughter of the bookstore owner and have to run the shop today, so feel free to look at anything you want."
"Thanks," I said. "Do you have anything on the history of Dragon Slayers, Fiore Guilds or Dark Guilds?"
"Follow me," she said and lead me towards the back of the store. There, a whole wall of books about those three topics were shown. "These are the only ones we have here, I'm afraid," she said, leaving me and walking back to the desk. I looked at down at Pip, who was in my arms still, and sighed.
"Let's get started, Pip," I said, putting him on the floor. We looked for some good books with lots of information and once I had a stack, I went over to a small table on the wall. I looked at the books and decided on the ones I was going to buy. Dragon Slayers and Their Powers, The Fiore Kingdom, Fiore Kingdom Guilds and Dark Guilds. I waked over to the desk and put them on it. The woman scanned them and put them in a bag.
"That's 12,000 jewel," she said. I handed her the money and took the bag of books.
"Come on, Pip," I said, opening the door for him. We walked outside and saw the guild house had huge billows of smoke coming from behind. I walked back to our house, thinking of how the battle was going. Pip was looking up at me, a worried look on his face.
"Hey there!" someone shouted form behind me. I turned around and saw two older boys looking at me.
The one who shouted had spiky blond hair and a small cowlick in the front. He had dark blue eyes and a slanted scar above the right one. He wore a blue vest with golden outer edges and inner edges covered by a trim of gray fur over a short, cream top, leaving the bottoms half of his chest bare. His arms are covered by dark blue gloves reaching up to the middle of his upper arm, with their upper edges being adorned by light gray bands hanging down. He wore loose, cream-colored pants, similar to Natsu's, but held up by suspenders, which are attached to the pants' loops by square-shaped rings that are gold in color. Over them, he wore distinctive dark blue shoes that reaches up to his thighs and attach to the upper edge of his pants. On his left shoulder, you could see a white Sabertooth marking.
The other one had neater black hair that somewhat covered his right eye. His eyes were a shade of red that reminded me of blood. He wore a long, black cape with golden edges reaching down to his feet, a much lighter collar circling his neck and a white ribbon hanging down on his chest. His cape had a white Sabertooth mark on it. Below it, he wore a plain gray shirt with brown cuffs and what looks like a large metal band circling each of his biceps. A light sash circling his waist hung a pale blue cloth waistguard, consisting of four long pieces of cloth reaching down below his knees. Each of these pieces is adorned by a large, dark cross with fan-shaped arms. Below his waistguard, he wore a pair of armored boots.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Rogue Cheney," the black haired one said. "Part of the Twin Dragon's of Sabertooth."
"Sting Eucliffe," the blond haired one said. "I'm the other Twin Dragon of Sabertooth and Guild Master."
"I'm Ruby Cress," I said. "Part of Fairy Tail." They grinned.
"Can you take us to Fairy Tail?" a cat said, coming out from behind Sting's legs. He had a red-mahogany fury coat, except for where his paws, stomach, face and the end of his tail being a darker pink color.
"Please?" another cat said, coming out from behind Rogue's legs. He had a pink frog suit on and it was covered with black spots, except for the stomach which was white. He had green fur, big, round eyes and rosy cheeks.
"This is Frosch," Rogue said, pointing to the one in the pink frog suit. "My Exceed."
"And Lector," Sting said, pointing to the one at his feet. "My Exceed."
"Sure," I said, after seeing them. I knew then they were Dragon Slayers, just like Natsu, Yuki and Wendy. "I'll take you to Fairy Tail."
"Thanks a million, Ruby!" Sting said. That's when I noticed Pip was tapping my leg.
"What's the matter, Pip?" I asked, looking at him. He pointed to the right and all of us looked and saw three masked and hooded figures staring st us.
"Get down!" Rogue said, pushing me down. He did it just in time, too, because three darts came flying towards us.
"What was that for?" I shouted at them, putting my hands on my key holder. They didn't answer, so I took Sagittarius's key off and shouted, "Open, Gate of the Archer, Sagittarius!"
"You called, Ma'am?" he said, looking at me.
"Get those three!" I shouted, pointing at them.
"Alrighty then!" he shouted, shooting arrows at them. I looked over at Rogue and Sting, who were staring at me.
"What?" I asked. They said nothing, so I shouted, "why don't you just stand there some more so I can use up all my magic energy?!"
"Right," they said. "Sorry!" I looked back and saw the three masked and hooded people were gone.
"I have to high tail it back to the spirit world, ok?" Sagittarius asked, looking at me. He had a bunch of darts stuck to him and I realized he blocked them from hitting us. Sagittarius disappeared and should've stayed a little longer, to take the dart that hit me.
   I blacked out, shouting Sting and Rogue's names.
