No One POV:

'Hi, I'm Lucy, a real-life wizard, and this beautiful city is Magnolia. A magnificent place is full of magic and opportunities. Go right through the center of town, pass the lovely Kardia Cathedral, and you'll find the home of the city's only magic guild, Fairy Tail.'

'Oh, this cute little place is my house! A real steal at 70,000 Jewels a month. Trust me, I love everything about it from the tub to all the floor space to the amazing closets not to mention the adorable little retro fireplace and stove. Isn't it just darling? But what I love most about it is...My bedroom!'

In her new apartment, Lucy Heartfilia wakes up and begins her daily routine. As she enters her room, she sees Natsu Dragneel and Happy sitting on the sofa. 

"Get the heck out of here, you jerks!" She quickly kicks the two into the wall and begins to lecture them about common courtesy. Natsu thinks that she is being a little harsh, but in the end, doesn't seem to care much. 

"By the way, where's Y/n?" Lucy makes a cup of tea after realizing Natsu's alone. "Oh, he's at the guild waiting for us." Natus answers as he crosses his arm while picturing the scenario in his head, "I told him we should go to your place, but he was saying how we shouldn't and would scare you, but I don't see why?"

"Jeez, I wonder why!" Lucy yells but she caught something Natsu just said. "Wait for a second, you said he's at Fairy Tail?"

Natsu was confused and nodded. "Without you?" Natsu nodded again and this time, Lucy smirked, "In a guild where many people were being affectionate towards him?"

It was at that question, Natsu froze. 'Y/n...alone...'

Lucy was a little weirded out by Natsu's expression but couldn't ask anything as Natsu was gone with only a trail of small flames that leads back to the guild. Lucy smiles knowing her plan worked and start doing some of the things she needed to do.

Meanwhile, at the guild, what Lucy was saying was happening. Some of the members of the guild are currently with Y/n.

"Look Y/n, I don't see why you're hanging out with Natsu." Gray shook his head, "He continues to cause trouble to the guild and goes overboard in his attack. He might accidentally hurt and even then..."

"Gray, you know that I go with Natsu because our goals are the same." Y/n pets Gray's head while chuckling, "Plus, he always remembers to put on his clothes."

Gray froze realizing his clothes are gone and quickly tries to find them.

"Plus, it's not like I'm gonna be around him 24/7," Y/n continued while playing a little bit with his magic. "He knows that I don't do teams unless it's important, and which those moments were. Natsu thought he'll see Igneel, I thought I can have information, but anything that I don't see as important, I'll pass on it."

Just then, the door came flying open as Y/n was suddenly pulled in. "Who touched him, huh!? I know someone was with him so was it!?"

It was Natsu, hissing at everyone in chibi form while quickly turning to everyone.

"Natsu! You jerk!" A female voice came as she was marching at Natsu.

A rather young, petite teenage girl of a slender build who stands at a rather below-average height for her age. Her shoulder-length blue hair, which has eyebrow-length bangs, is normally tied up with a colorful bandana around her head. While initially portrayed as having rather straight hair, her hair has slowly gained a more wavy, wild look, with more locks hanging down the sides of her face. Her attire appears to be dresses and tank tops, both of which reveal the guild mark on her left scapula.

"What the!? Why am I a jerk Levy!?" Natsu was shocked as Levy pulled on Natsu's shirt. "Because you knew that I was going to take that quest, but you decided to take it anyway!"

"A quest?" Y/n was curious as Levy nodded while not taking her eyes off Natsu. "The quest is about stealing a book from some pervert and the reward was pretty high. But you decided to take it even though I was prepping on taking it!"

"But the quest said they wanted a blond!" Levy froze after hearing what Natsu said, "It said it here!" Levy looked at the quest and see that the quest specified wanting a blond maiden.

Levy was shaking in defeat knowing how much she was preparing for a quest and knowing that she can't even take it.

Y/n notices how the quest wanted a blond maiden. "Natsu, I'm not going." Natsu froze and turn to Y/n. "I have blond AND purple hair. The quest only asks for pure blonds."

Natsu was now the one being frozen but quickly shakes it off. "Then you can just come with us. Lucy is also coming along and she is okay with being the maiden."

"Excuse me!?" A screech came in as Natsu was kicked in the face. Everyone turns to see Lucy slowly walking to Natsu and shaking him, "When did I specifically say, "Yeah! I'll be a maid for the quest! "!?"

Natsu nervously laughs, "Just now."

Lucy's eyes widen before slowly puppy eyes pleading to Y/n, only receiving a puppy eye-shaking head 'No'.

"Ugh! Fine, how much is the reward anyway?" Y/n grabs the request and shows it to Lucy, whose eyes changed to jewels. "200,000 Jewels!?" Lucy grabs Natsu and Happy while dragging them out, "Come you silly gooses! We have a quest to complete!"

The guild sees the three of them leaving as Y/n laughs a little, "I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up as a couple." He caught a request flying down as he grabs it and takes a look, "Hmmm..."

Gray notices the quest, "Is that the newest one?" Y/n nodded as he shows the quest, "Mysterious people show up and make people relive themselves where they last saw someone important."

"I've heard that many places are experiencing the same thing." Mirajane frowns while prepping a drink. "They said many different things but they're all connected to how they just meet people they last saw. Some said it's their worst moment, others say it's their time when they never had a chance to say goodbye...It makes you sad knowing someone or something is making people relive a moment they want to forget."

Y/n looked at the quest as he was thinking of his moments. He also had some moments where he never had a chance to say goodbye or never know what happened to them. He went to Mirajane as he shows the quest, "I'm going to take this quest."

"I'm going with you." Gray also comes in as Y/n already knows that it's no use trying to make Gray not go along with the quest. The two of them haven't done a quest together for some time and even Gray would also comment how he wanted to have an opportunity.

Mirajane nodded as she understood their reasoning, she gave them the approval along with the information. She tells them that people be saying it happens at The Blue Beach, which Y/n finds interesting about how the circumstances are and where it is.

The two of them agreed to meet at the train station since Y/n needed to grab some items while Gray also have to grab his items as well. Y/n leaves the guild to tell Nilou about the quest and to get ready, while Gray was at the guild, he heard some chuckles and sees both Mirajane and Levy smirking at Gray.

"Did you want to join Y/n for the quest?" Mirajane teasingly smirks and chuckles while Levy does the same. "Or did you decide to join in so you could have a date with Y/n?"

Gray was stiffed at the question before shaking them off. "It's none of your business. The quest is important since multiple people across towns are experiencing the same problem."

Both ladies had the same expression making Gray mad, "Quit it!" He mumbles while stomping his way out before hearing Cana, "Gray, your clothes."

"Gah!!"

Time Magic: Time Skip

After some time has passed, both of them attended the train as they have the stuff they wanted to bring. Both of them were separated but only to where they'll be face to face with each other.

Gray was rethinking what Mirajane and Levy said, he does want to take Y/n out on a date. He admits that he wants to do many things with Y/n, it's just the issue of Y/n's mindset.

Y/n can be dense, but he isn't completely dense, he can be described as being dense because he doesn't want to hurt others. He's afraid of hurting other people who would have feelings for him, so he would make attempts to be dense or simply dodge others' signs of attempts.

A person who wants to love someone and a person who doesn't want to others because of love. Ice and fire, hot and cold, are two opposites that are trying to connect.

"So, why exactly did you decide to come along?" Y/n was having that question on his mind since he knows Gray enough that he can find moments like this odd. Gray looked confused, "What? It's been a while since you and I have been together."

"So, this is a date?" Gray froze hearing what Y/n is saying. "We're going on a quest to a place where there is a beach and you said it yourself, we haven't had some alone time. So Gray, is this a date?"

Gray gets close to Y/n, "So what if it is? Do you accept it?"

Now Y/n was the one being stuck but quickly pins Gray as he made them sit down while his arms are beside them. Gray's legs are separated while Y/n's one leg is between them. "You know, you're cute like this."

"Excuse me, you're making people uncomfortable." Gray and Y/n turn to see one of the train attendants. "Please sit down and wait for your destination." They left as the moment was now becoming awkward both wizards are sitting down.

All the while Nilou's face was red as she was watching the scene firsthand.

Time Skip:

Their awkwardness was now over as they left the train and see the area. It was a beautiful site as the overall area was like a beach town. However, this made the mission more serious seeing how behind the beauty comes the danger of why they're there.

As the two wizards goes around the area, they were noticing how very little of people were outside.

"For an area that's like a beach, there are very few people." Y/n mutters as Gray was looking around, "It might be because of what's been happening."

Nilou was looking around and pointed at a building, "Why don't we check that place? It seems like people are going there."

They all went there as people's voices were heard, but it was more of them demanding. All of the people that were residents are shouting about what's been happening at night.

--"What's going on?! Why are we seeing the dead?!"
--"All I want is rest after losing my husband, and now I'm seeing him in pain!"
--"I lost my best friend last year, and now I'm seeing them again! Why?!"

Y/n was taking a mental note as he was looking at the people that were saying similar things. Nilou was close to Y/n, not liking how many people's faces were covered with anger and sadness.

"Tch! This is getting us nowhere." Gray spoke as he looks around and sees someone on the stage, "There. That must be the guy that made the quest."

"He's probably the mayor or someone in high power." Y/n nods as he put his hands up, small sparks were coming out. "But first..."

Small sparks were zapping many of the people as it causing them to be unconscious. The only person that wasn't zapped was the guy on the stage, but he was startled at seeing many people go unconscious.

"That's better." Y/n smiles as he looks and sees Gray looking at them in shock. "What?" Y/n furrow his brows, "They were scaring Nilou. And now we have a clear path."

Gray just chuckles and shakes his head as they go to where the person is. "Hey! Are you the one that sent the quest?" Gray asks but he was confused as to why the person's eyes were wide to where they can pop out.

Y/n looked and immediately has his eyes widen. "Gray...Gray!!" He quickly covers Nilou's eyes.

Gray was shocked by Y/n yelling, "Hey! Why are you yelling?!"

"I'm yelling because ALL of your clothes are gone!"

Gray froze as the town went silent. They could only hear the breeze and a few falling leaves after listening to what Y/n had to say.

Gray looked down and had his face red before sprinting off as he can see everything being off and how he realizes everyone can see everything.

Y/n was still frozen after witnessing all of Gray as he couldn't get it out of his head. 'Everything, I saw everything. Uncensored, all of it... It's so smooth!'

"Ahem!" Y/n was splashed with some water as he snapped out of it and look to see his hands still covering Nilou's eyes. "Can I see now?"

"Yes, sorry." Y/n blushed face was cooling down as he let Nilou regain her vision. 'I didn't see any hair on it...'

"So, are you the mayor of this beach." Nilou turns to the mayor, "We've accepted a quest saying how many people are seeing things."

The guy quickly nodded his head, "A-Ah! Yes..." The coughs as he gets himself calmer. "I am the mayor of this beach, and I was the one who ask Fairy Tail to accept this quest."

Y/n went to the mayor and he nods, "Well, you call, and we came. My name is Y/n and I'm a wizard from the Fairy Tail guild. The lovely exceed here is Nilou, and the uh...guy who's...getting his clothes is Gray."

"Ah yes how..." The mayor tries to give a compliment but was stuck on what to say. "...unique..." He looks at Y/n as if he was also having a troubled time keeping himself together.

He was rubbing his ring, but he still couldn't focus when looking at Y/n. He knows they're a guy, but when seeing their outfit, his body can confuse others because of how it's both masculine and feminine. And Y/n's face...

"You're beautiful." The mayor was shocked at what he said as it also caught Y/n off guard. "Oh? How bold, but I like that." Y/n gives a playful smile as the mayor chuckles, "But let's make things professional, shall we? We're in public."

The mayor blushes as he coughs, "Yes, please let us go inside."

Y/n nods as he was going inside, the mayor was almost going to hold Y/n, but a cold hand quickly grabbed their hand. The mayor quickly felt shivers from that hand and look to see Gray glaring at him while they wrapped their arms around Y/n.

Y/n was off guard again when seeing Gray, with clothes on, except with his shirt, having his arms around him. He didn't mind it, he figured Gray would do that, but he never thought now as he originally thought he would do that in front of Natsu just to mess with the fire wizard.

They went inside the mayor's office while the mayor was still a little intimidated by Gray but tries not to hide it.

"As you all have read, the people here keep on seeing people from the past." He summarized as the two wizards nodded. "Do you have anything to how it all started?" Nilou asks, "Or where people will be seeing things?"

"That's the issue." They shook their head, "It happened two weeks ago and it's been affecting people randomly. Sometimes one us would be getting the effect, but then a new person would have it the night after."

Y/n was thinking about everything from the quest and then to the victims. "By any chance, would the people be seeing a person that was very important to them?"

"Yes." The mayor nodded, "We had numerous people saying how they all were seeing someone that was very important, but those moments were where they lost them, and seeing how they were gone."

"So everyone has been re-seeing people's death." Gray clenches his fist, "Has any other town reported something like this?"

The mayo sighs, "No. I've asked any neighborhood towns if they're experiencing this, and they said they haven't. It's just been us."

'So just this place.' Y/n mentally wrote down some information, looking for anything that could give them a reason why the situation is suddenly happening.

"You both are free to look around and see what's been causing all of this." The mayor spoke as he gave a small smile, "This place is still known for its food, and of course the beach."

"Thanks for helping us." Nilou waved as they all left the office. They look around and see the people being cautious and some looked very tired.

"So, how do we go about this?" Gray asks. Y/n was thinking, "For now...we enjoy our time here."

"Huh?!" Gray and Nilou were shocked making Y/n chuckle, "Come on. This is a beach, and the mayor said this is a lovely place. Why not explore and see what made this place beautiful?"

Gray and Nilou are still confused about Y/n's choice. But they follow when Y/n started to walk out. Gray was looking at Y/n, figuring out their reason. Yes, this is a beautiful place and it's known for its beach-wait beach.

'We're at a beach. I'm at a beach with...' Gray look and see Y/n who was talking to someone as he was focused on seeing their stomach when the wind started to blow on their jacked and let him see his curves.

Gray's face immediately became pink as he would feel his power trying to cool him down. "Gray?" Nilou looks at Gray with concern, "You're steaming."

Gray could see that he was steaming as he quickly control himself. "Maybe this won't be a bad idea." Gray coughs, "This is a beach so why not enjoy it?"

"You too?!" Nilou was shocked in seeing this be a two-on-one situation. She gives up as she might as well join them.

The three of them were exploring the area as they were heading towards the beach. Gray was mentally shaking since he was going to the beach with Y/n, meaning Y/n is going to change, meaning Y/n's body is now going to be visible to him.

Gray just has his shorts on as he was waiting for Y/n to come out. Gray looks at the waves and sees how it's almost clear. "Wow, the waves look nice!" Gray turn as he starts steaming again.

Y/n has his swim shorts on as his body was out and sees his visible curves. Y/n looks at Gray as he was seeing his companion steaming, "Gray, you're steaming."

"I'm fine." Gray quickly answers, "It's the heat in here."

"Bruh," Nilou commented as she was tanning underneath the sun.

Y/n believed him since they know what magic their known for. "Well then, I asked if this was a date, get in the water and I'll tell you." Y/n heads out to the ocean as he heard footsteps quickly approaching.

"Aw, such a couple." Y/n turns and sees an elder woman smiling but he could see that she was giving off a sad smile. "Oh, mam we're-"

"Yes!" Gray hugs Y/n from behind, "We're just out here wanting to make this special."

"Oh, how lovely." The woman smiles, "I just come here every day with my son. We would have the best and he would always try to find the biggest seashell to brag about."

"Oh..." Gray spoke as the woman gave a small smile. "I don't know why but ever since I came here last week, I was seeing my son again."

Y/n and Gray's eyes widened, "You saw him here?" Y/n asks as the elder woman just laughs, "It's nothing to worry about. I guess it's just me not letting go, and I don't want two lovely couples having their time ruined."

She swims away to another spot as Gray and Y/n looked at each other, now having a major clue. "So, people be seeing dead people at this beach." Gray stated as Y/n nodded, "But I'm curious, why only a select few having been seeing the dead? This beach is the reason why the town is well known, so nearly everyone should've seen things."

Gray was also thinking the same thing. "Maybe it's only towards someone who lost someone? Most of the victims are adults or have kids."

"I guess-ah!" Y/n was going to walk but he tripped over something as it made him fall into the water. Gray quickly pulls Y/n up, "Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah." Y/n nods as he was lost at what happened, "But something thick is underwater."

Gray was confused as he comes closer to have his feet search where Y/n tripped. "Guys! I know this a beach and known for being a romantic area, but focus on the quest!" Nilou shouted.

Y/n and Gray look and see how they were positioned. Gray was still holding Y/n while one of his legs was between Y/n's, while they were low almost like a dip, and had their arms around Gray's neck.

The two wizards are now blushing but mainly Y/n, "Nilou! It's not what it looks like!" Nilou shakes her head, "It's about time for you guys to make a move, but can you guys keep it a little professional."

The boy's eyes widen as Nilou just flies out to the sand and waits for them. The boys quickly get out of the water as Gray turns to Y/n, "I felt what you tripped on. It was thick and something questionable to be in the water."

Y/n nods as they get out and dry themselves off. While finishing, Y/n could feel their eyes watching them as he turns but doesn't see anyone, squinting his eyes as he send out a small zap where he was looking but didn't hear anything jumping.

Y/n was still skeptical but started to leave with Gray and Nilou.

Meanwhile where Y/n zapped were two people as one had to cover the other person because they got zapped and almost yelped.

"That was close..." One of them commented as they look at where Y/n is going, "Guess he's not just a pretty face?"

"Please, that old hag is better than that." The other person commented as they shove their partner. "And I didn't need your help."

"Okay." The person shrugged as they walked away, "We just now need to tell the others that we have two wizards investigating."

"I wonder how they would do when they're screaming." The partner chuckles.

So this might be a little short than normal because I know that when trying to stay with the franchise, they do another episode related to where the timeline is so another part will be coming up next.
