Wendy and her companions glided through the Lanes in Between on their Keyblade Gliders. As they traversed the vast sea of light, Wendy couldn't shake off Vanitas' words from back in Disney Town.

**Flashback**

Vanitas chuckled darkly, his mocking voice echoing in her mind. "Well, if it isn't Venty-Wenty, all grown up. How cute." He leaned closer, his tone turning cold and taunting. "And this little fairy here... much more valuable than you realize, Ventus. Even though she doesn't know it yet."

**End of Flashback**

"What did Vanitas mean by 'much more valuable?'" Wendy pondered as she continued to glide. Just then, a voice interrupted her thoughts.

"Is something wrong, Wendy? You've been silent this whole time," Aqua asked, turning directly to her, concern evident in her voice.

Wendy was about to respond when they spotted a bright light glowing in the distance, signaling their approach to another world.

As they emerged from the Lanes Between, their surroundings shifted. The familiar hum of the traveling corridors faded away, and they materialized in a new world. Like clockwork, they dematerialized their armor, revealing their original attire. The sight that greeted Wendy took her breath away: a surreal, crooked tower made of golden-brown stone, topped with blue cone-shaped turret roofs that were decorated with moons and stars. It rested on a floating island surrounded by a courtyard and trees, all under a backdrop of sparkling stars.

Wendy was mesmerized—not only by the tower but also by the enchanting stars surrounding them. She had never seen stars like these before, not even in her homeworld or the nights of the Land of Departure. The galaxy shimmered with the stars' radiant light.

"This place... The stars... they're beautiful," she said breathlessly, glancing back at the tower. "And this tower looks so... mysterious."

Ven, Terra, Aqua, and Chirithy chuckled, and Terra smirked at Wendy's comments.

"Well, it's not called the 'Mysterious Tower' for no reason!" Terra said, playfully smirking.

Ventus chimed in, "Yeah, even though Master Yen Sid is pretty stern, I think he's going to like you for sure."

Wendy looked confused. "Who's Master Yen Sid?" she asked curiously. Aqua smiled warmly at her puzzled companion.

"Master Yen Sid is a retired Keyblade Master, renowned for his wisdom and mastery of magic. Even though he is no longer an active Keyblade Master, he still keeps a close eye on the balance between Light and Darkness. He was once Mickey's master and taught him everything he knows about magic and the Keyblade," Aqua explained.

Wendy felt a wave of nervousness wash over her upon hearing this. Chirithy, noticing her discomfort, tugged on her leg to get her attention. "Don't worry, Wendy. Like Ven said, despite his stern and harsh demeanor, he's not a bad guy," Chirithy reassured her.

Wendy smiled, though nervousness still lingered in her heart. As the group entered the tower, Wendy was surprised to find a simple, round room surrounding an upward-spiraling staircase that led to a strange portal.

When they stepped through the portal, Wendy gasped in surprise. They had arrived in a higher area of the tower, where the staircases floated randomly. As they walked through the tower, they noticed two familiar round rooms, each with two doors leading either up or down, decorated with moons and stars, respectively.

"Wow, this tower is interesting. Definitely not what I was expecting," Wendy commented in wonder. Aqua looked back at Wendy and giggled at her curiosity.

"That's why it's called the Mysterious Tower, Wendy," Aqua teased.

As the group reached what appeared to be the final stairway, Terra turned to Wendy with determination.

"This stairway leads to Master Yen Sid's study, so look sharp, Wendy," Terra advised, turning towards Wendy, who nodded in acknowledgment and straightened her dress to make herself more presentable. As the group ascended the steep, straight stairwell, Wendy felt a powerful and intimidating aura that intensified with each step they took.

When Terra opened the door, the group entered the room, and Wendy's curiosity was piqued by what she saw. Behind a long wooden desk sat a severe-looking old man with long grey hair, bushy eyebrows, and a long grey beard that parted in the middle. He wore a blue conical sorcerer's hat decorated with yellow stars and a yellow crescent moon. His long, billowing blue robes had a sky-blue lining, while the insides were dark red. The whites of his eyes were quite large compared to his small pupils.

"Master Yen Sid, sir!" Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and Chirithy exclaimed as they stood up straight.

"Ah, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Chirithy. I was expecting you all to seek my guidance after what transpired in Disney Town," Yen Sid said calmly.

The group nodded in response, and Yen Sid continued, "I am also aware of the girl you have brought here to meet with me. Wendy Marvell, you may come forward."

Wendy, who had been lingering at the back of the group, stepped forward and gave a respectful bow. "It's nice to meet you, Master Yen Sid," she said politely. Yen Sid looked at Wendy, closed his eyes, and then opened them a second later.

"Wendy Marvell, the stars have revealed much about your arrival and your desire to return to your homeworld. However, that may not be a wise decision," Yen Sid stated. Wendy's eyes widened at the thought that returning might not be advisable.

Before she could question Master Yen Sid about his warning, the door suddenly opened, and the group turned to see three teenagers walk in. Wendy looked at the three teens with curiosity.

In front stood a boy who appeared to be around 16 years old, with brown spiky hair and blue eyes. He wore a silver crown-like necklace, a black v-neck t-shirt with white hemming, and black shorts with gray pockets secured by red straps. The shorts were tight around his calves, and he also wore a long black hooded jacket featuring red hemming, gray pockets with white trimming, and red flannel flaps held down by a series of yellow buttons. His shoes were yellow, with the ankle and tongue folded down, held together by a single black strap. He wore gray fingerless gloves that came to a point on his hands and reached just short of his elbows. The gloves had red hemming, a yellow strap around the wrist, and a silver circular plate on the back of the hand.

"Hey, Sora!" Ventus greeted the boy in front.

To Sora's left stood a tall, muscular guy who looked about 18 years old. He had pale skin, bright blue-green eyes, and short, spiky silver hair. He wore a black hooded jacket, unzipped and with short sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a checkered pattern at the hem. Underneath, he wore a pale blue v-neck t-shirt, blue cropped trousers hemmed with the same checkered pattern as the jacket, black fingerless gloves on each hand, and black high-top boots.

"Hello, Riku," Terra said to the silver-haired guy.

To the right of Sora stood a girl who seemed to be about 16, with auburn hair, blue eyes, and a pale complexion. She wore a necklace with a silver bead and a pink and black dress, featuring black ruffles on one side of her skirt and plaid on the other, along with thick belted boots.

"Hello, Kairi! It's good to see you again," Aqua said to the girl.

The three teens smiled at the group. Sora walked over to Ventus and high-fived him with a bright smile that Wendy felt could rival Natsu's signature happy-go-lucky grin.

"Hey, Ven! Hey, Chirithy!" Sora greeted happily.

Riku approached Terra.

"Hey, Terra," Riku greeted calmly.

Kairi walked over to Aqua.

"Hello, Aqua," Kairi greeted calmly.

As she watched her friends interact with the three teens, Wendy began to feel a bit nervous. Fortunately, Ven, noticing that the others didn't know Wendy yet, took the initiative to introduce her.

"Hey, guys! This is Wendy Marvell. She accidentally got transported to our world a couple of weeks ago and is a wizard from another world," Ven explained excitedly, gesturing towards her. Wendy waved politely to the group, and Sora eagerly walked over to introduce himself with a huge grin.

"Hi, my name is Sora! It's nice to meet you, Wendy!" he exclaimed happily. Riku, who was with Terra, walked over to Wendy and gave her a small smile. "Nice to meet you, Wendy. I'm Riku." Finally, Kairi, who was with Aqua, approached Wendy with a smile. "Hi Wendy, I'm Kairi," she said as she extended her hand, which Wendy took.

But the moment their hands touched, Wendy and Kairi felt a jolt pass through their bodies. It was a warm yet familiar feeling as if they already knew each other despite having just met. As the two girls stood still and silent for a moment, Sora and Ventus began to worry.

"Wendy, are you okay?" Ventus asked with concern.

"Yeah, are you two alright?" Sora echoed, equally concerned. The girls snapped out of their trance, and upon realizing they were still holding hands, they let go.

"Sorry, Wendy. I didn't know what came over me. When we shook hands, I felt like I knew you from somewhere, even though this is our first time meeting," Kairi apologized.

Before anyone could contemplate her words, Master Yen Sid cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention. "Now that the formalities are concluded, I believe we should move on to our mission."

Everyone fell silent as Master Yen Sid began to explain. "As some of you have witnessed, the balance of light and darkness has once again been disrupted. This time, a much deeper and more ancient darkness has emerged, leaking into all worlds and, to an extent, threatening the entire universe," he explained.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi looked shocked. Sora groaned. "After all the trouble we went through to save the worlds, now they're in trouble again?"

Aqua nodded. "Unfortunately, yes, Sora. Back in Disney Town, we encountered Vanitas and the Unversed. Luckily, Wendy awakened her Keyblade, and she and Ven managed to defeat him," she explained. The group turned to Wendy.

Riku looked surprised at Wendy. "Not bad for awakening a Keyblade and defeating a powerful foe like Vanitas. Good job, Wendy," he complimented. Wendy blushed slightly at the praise.

"Thank you, Riku. Though I still have a lot to learn," Wendy replied shyly. Terra then stepped in with a serious expression. "Before Vanitas escaped, he mentioned that we need to gather more allies and these 'New Seven Princesses of Heart' to face him and 'them,' which suggests he's working with other dark beings," she said.

Master Yen Sid stroked his beard, his brows furrowed in concern at this new information. "It seems our enemy has gathered more beings of darkness and is now targeting the New Seven Princesses of Heart," he spoke gravely.

Wendy looked confused. "What are the New Seven Princesses of Heart?" she asked. Yen Sid turned toward Wendy with a stern expression. "The Princesses of Heart are maidens with hearts of pure light, entirely devoid of darkness. Their hearts are so pure that they cannot become Heartless. The original Princesses of Heart have passed their light on to others," he explained.

Wendy's eyes widened at the thought of someone having no darkness. "No darkness? That's unreal! And what are the Heartless?" she asked. Sora chimed in, "The Heartless are physical, living manifestations of the darkness within people's hearts. They're dangerous and seek to consume people's hearts," he explained.

Wendy thought for a moment. "So, these Princesses of Heart can't become Heartless because they have no darkness in them," she reasoned.

Master Yen Sid nodded. "Our mission is clear: Acquire allies to combat the ancient darkness, locate the Seven Princesses of Heart, and defeat the darkness threatening the very fabric of our universe."

The group nodded in understanding, and Kairi stepped forward. "Since I'm one of the only remaining Princesses of Heart after the original ones passed on their light, we technically only need to find the other six," she explained.

Wendy smiled, but deep down, she felt something oddly familiar about Kairi and the Princesses of Heart.

"Where should we start?" Wendy asked.

Riku stepped forward. "We should begin in Twilight Town. We already have friends there who can help us," he advised, and the group nodded in agreement. Just as they were about to leave, a voice interrupted them.

"Hold on, dear!" a soft voice said. The group turned to see three lights appear: a red light, a green light, and a blue light. Suddenly, three elderly women with fairy wings appeared.

The red fairy was tall and appeared brave, the green one looked kind and gentle, and the blue one was the shortest and seemed feisty.

"Flora! Fauna! Merryweather!" Sora exclaimed with excitement. The green fairy looked at Sora and smiled warmly.

"Hello, Sora," the green one replied.

"Sora, who are they?" Wendy asked. Sora turned to Wendy and smiled. "They are the three great fairies: the red one is Flora, the green one is Fauna, and the blue one is Merryweather," Sora introduced.

Wendy smiled in amazement at the sight of the real fairies and bowed slightly in respect. "It's nice to meet you three. My name is Wendy Marvell."

Fauna smiled warmly at Wendy. "My, what a well-mannered girl you are," she complimented. Wendy blushed a little at this.

Flora glanced at Wendy's current outfit—a flowing, intricate dress typical of a mage, elegant but clearly not suited for battle. She raised an eyebrow.

"A dress? For an adventure? My dear, that simply won't do!" she exclaimed. Wendy's eyes widened at this.

"Is that bad?" Wendy asked nervously. Fauna, the soft-spoken but wise fairy, nodded in agreement and glided closer to Wendy with a serious expression.

"You'll need something more fitting for the journey ahead—comfort, flexibility, and the ability to move quickly. A battle-ready look, if you will," she advised.

Merryweather, a slightly mischievous fairy, smirked as she twirled her wand in the air, her magic already crackling with energy.

"Exactly! There's no time for elegance in these dangerous worlds! Let's give this girl a proper adventuring outfit!" she exclaimed.

Before Wendy could react, the three fairies raised their wands in unison, and a surge of magic enveloped her. A flurry of sparkling lights and colorful energy filled the air as the fairies' magic twirled around Wendy, and her dress disappeared into the magical light, replaced by a new outfit.

Wendy was still wearing her pauldron, but now she had on a unique, knightly outfit that combined green and gray colors. The long-sleeved top featured a high collar and a zigzag pattern on the chest. A prominent belt with a buckle cinched her waist, leading down to a long skirt with a front slit that allowed for dynamic movement. The ensemble was completed with green gloves that left her fingers exposed and matching green boots.

Wendy looked at herself in surprise at the new outfit the three fairies had given her.

"There we go! Now you have some actual adventure clothes!" Merryweather announced confidently.

Wendy smiled. "Thank you all," she said politely before turning around to show her outfit to the rest of the group.

"Haha, that outfit looks so cool on you, Wendy!" Sora exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Not bad, Wendy," Riku said calmly.

"It suits you, Wendy," Aqua added.

"You look beautiful, Wendy!" Ventus complimented a slight blush on his face. Wendy turned red at everyone's comments, and the group turned to Master Yen Sid, who wore a pleased expression.

"Now that everything is in place, I wish you all the best of luck on your journey. Remember this: may your hearts be your guiding keys."
