Sienna POV

Today has been a slow shift.

So slow, I think I fell asleep while standing as Harry stocks our fridges for the next shifts that come in. I think in total five people came in since 6 a.m and it is almost one o'clock.

I think it is going to rain soon, which makes sense because business is usually slow when the weather is bad. No one wants to come into town when it is going to rain, which means I get paid to lean against the counter and watch the clock. The sky looks gloomy, and over time the sky looks more and more dark, and dreary.

"What are you going to do after work?" I hear Harry ask behind me. I lean up from the counter I was slouched against, and turn around to face him. We have been making small talk all day because Harry seemed busy on his phone. Logan would always tell me what's going on in his world, and what was consuming his time, but Harry is different; I am figuring out new findings day by day about him.

"Probably just gonna home and nap," I say honestly. "I've been really tired today and I don't know why." I answer honestly. "What about you?"

"A few friends and I are going out to lunch," Harry says while glancing to me and then to his phone where a huge smile is planted on his lips. "Maybe after we can do a movie night with Ezra?"

"Sure," I say while watching his movements. His green eyes are steadied on his phone as he texts whomever. A pit forms in my stomach and I don't know why. "Where are you going to lunch?"

"I think the diner," Harry says a few moments later, making my skin crawl in frustration.

I turn back around from the boy, paying no mind to me, and lean against the counter like I was moments previous. It has only been five minutes since I last looked at the clock, and I sigh to myself.

I look to my phone and see a text message appear from my Mom.

Mom: will u be home on time today?

Me: why?

Mom: dad n I are going to lunch out of town tomorrow and we are leaving whenever u get home. u are off the next few days right?

Me: yippee

Mom: so is that a yes?

"We can close early today," Harry says behind me. I lock my phone before I curse out my Mom via text, for making me watch my brother for a few days so they can bone in peace. "A huge storm is coming in, in a few hours so boss lady said we can start closing up."

"Okay," I answer. I go from behind the counter and start locking up. I lock the door, and close the blinds to start the process of closing.

"What's wrong with you today, Anna? You seems very out of it." Harry says from across the store.

"Just tired," I comment with a sigh.

I head back from behind the counter and see Harry looking at me with a tilted head. "Anything I can do to help?" We make eye contact which seems to ease my nerves, which I hate.

"No," I say, playing off a fake smile. "We should be done locking up in fifteen. We filled all the milk, just need to do cash."

His phone goes off a few times, but his eye contact still remains with me. I try to hide my annoyance with how his phone has been an issue more and more. "Why are you getting pissed off?" Harry asks, furrowing his eyebrows at me.

"I am not," I say, playing it off. I tuck my hair behind my ears and stand up straighter in my stance.

"Why are you lying?" He steps closer towards my body, which gives me the shivers. Harry's hand rests on my lower back, and his lips touch my neck. "Have I done anything?"

We remain the eye contact, which makes it harder to lie, but also harder to not tell the truth. "Are you keeping anything from me?" I ask curiously.

His eyebrows knot in confusion, and a step is taken away from me, which I didn't want to happen. "Why would you ask me that?"

"You've been just all about your phone day, and yesterday at dinner, even with Roy there, you were on your phone. I just haven't seen that side of you that is consumed of cell phone usage." I manage to say in one breath before our conversation gets more escalated.

"I am in a group chat with my friends back home, and I just got added to a new group chat with some people from college I met online during a zoom seminar." Harry answers. "I am sorry you felt a way about it."

"Don't," I say, pulling off a smile.

Our conversation gets interrupted by the sound of thunder roaring through the sky and oddly shaking the cafe we are standing in. "You know what us plus a storm equals," Harry says while nudging me.

I feel my cheeks heat by comment, and laugh. "Get your mind out of the gutter and help me close Styles," I say while handing him a rag and an empty bucket. "My parents are going out of town for a few days. So I guess come over whenever for movie night."

"Where are they going?" He asks while cleaning up the counters as I count the money. Thankfully we have a scale that counts for us so it is not a lot of mental pressure on me to talk at the same time.

"No clue," I answer honestly. "She just texted me asking if I was going to be home on time because they leave right after I come home."

"That's ass," Harry says, making me laugh. "It is nice of you though, for offering."

"I didn't offer," I say, making his face scrunch. "Since I am leaving for college in a little less than two months, they are using their free baby sister tickets while they can." The store falls silent after I spoke, which raises a flag. I turn around and Harry is just scrubbing away. "Did I say something?" I ask curiously.

"What are we planning on doing about us when the summer is over?" Harry asks timidly. My throat clears and I try not to seem caught off guard.

"Why are we talking about this now?" I ask curiously. "We have time."

"Is that your way of saying you don't know either?" He asks, chuckling. "I think about it, how our goodbyes will be said here and our lives change once the summer is over."

"Did your seminar suddenly get you thinking or?" I ask, glancing over my shoulder to see what type of body language he is giving off. I get the vibe of hostile, which means this conversation is not going to have a good ending.

I start hearing the rain tap against the roof slowly, drop by drop, meaning soon we will be in the middle of the storm, again, not at home. "We should hurry up and try to get home while it is still good," I say, concluding this conversation is not getting us anywhere good. I take off my apron and set it down beside me on the main counter I was using.

I start turning off the lights to the lobby and putting the chairs on the table like we always do. "Do you have your parents car today?" Harry asks from across the shop.

"Yeah," I answer. For once I was allowed to take one of the cars, and thankfully today was the day so I am not trapped in the rain. I slide my hoodie over my body and start grabbing my belongings from the break room. "What else do you have to do?" I ask Harry.

"Don't worry, I want you to get home safe. I will text you later." He says while walking over in my direction. His apron is on the counter too and a jacket is now on his body, which leads me to believe he is almost out of here too.

"Okay." I say, smiling softly. He leans in and pecks my lips before turning back around, swiping his phone from off of the counter, and heading into the wash room.

I don't want to say there is unfinished business here, but I do feel like there is something not complete by this conversation.

I got home at a reasonable hour, and I would say as soon as I got home, the rain got worse and my parents dipped out the door.

It is around five now, and I have not heard from Harry at all. I assume he is at the diner, with his friends, having a good time. That seems to be his priority lately anyways, which makes sense because just in a few weeks, poof, we are all new people.

Ezra is currently watching TV in the living room, and I am waiting for the cookies I made to finish baking. In the mean time, I go on Instagram and see what's new.

The first thing that pops onto my feed is something that Harry posted. It is a group photo of around six people all huddled together closely in a booth. Harry is say in the middle of two girls whom his arm is around. Across the table are the remaining three guys who, in my opinion, all look the same.

I check the tagged on everyone, and see their accounts are private. Harry has never mentioned to me these people, and part of me questions why. He has met my friends, willingly or not, and I talk about him to them.

I read the comments under his post from them. None catch my eye but one that says "can't wait to meet her!" From a girl in the photo named Becca.

I don't assume I am the "her" talked about. I humble myself into thinking it could be anyone.

I get interrupted by my intense train of thought by the door bell going off. I put my phone down on the counter and walk to the front door. Ezra shouts "someone is here!" from the couch, which makes me giggle.

I slowly open the front door to see a boy behind it with flowers.

My head tilts in awe, and I pout slightly. "For you," Harry says while handing them over. "Wild flowers, right?" He asks timidly, which makes my heart warm.

I've never been the type of girl to dig one flower. Because I think one flower can make an arrangement of a beautiful flower group. All of the different kinds of colors within the group makes it much more vibrant to me, than one single type of flower. The argument he got me has blue moon flowers (super underrated), daisies, and iris and aster flowers.

"What is the occasion?" I ask as my fingers stroke the pedals.

"I just wanted to do something nice for you," Harry says while leaning in. "I feel like today at the cafe was tense for no reason, and that is my fault, so I am sorry. I hope we can find our own time to talk about what comes next when we are ready."

I smile by his words and plants my lips to his. Our lips lock for a few moments until I realize he is standing on my porch still. Even though the part he was under is covered, I don't want him getting sick.

"Well, you just came in time because the cookies will be done soon." I say to Harry who smiles at me.

"Looks like I am the lucky one." He says while leaning in and kissing my cheek.

We head to my kitchen where I place the flowers down for a moment to find a vase. "How was the diner?" I ask curiously.

"Good, it was nice seeing them. I want you to meet them soon." Harry says, making my nerves settle down.

"Who are you talking about exactly?" I ask.

"There are two couples, Zach and Aerial. Then Becca and Dean, and then there is Chance who is single. They are a year older than us, and I met them last summer."

"Just let me know, and I will see if I can get out of baby sitting duties." I joke, making him snicker.

"Ezra! Start your shower buddy before dinner!" I say to my brother. His Mac and cheese and nuggets are almost done, and then he can have some cookies. I don't hear him respond, I just heart tiny foot steps rush upstairs, causing me to laugh to myself.

I turn back around to Harry and rest my head against his chest. His fingers stroke my lower back, which eases my nerves. It is silent between us, but not that uncomfortable kind like earlier today.

My fingertips start brushing along his waist line where his jeans sit at. I play with his band and then his button. "Are you trying to tease me?" I hear him mumble.

"We have around ten minutes until he's done." I hum while looking up at Harry who has his green eyes steadied on me.

His arms wrap around my body where he picks me up and sits me on the island. I laugh to myself and cup his cheeks where we are met with a kiss. All the butterflies are in my stomach wildly and make me feel giddy.
