Sienna POV (Past)

For the amount of crushes I've had before, none of them felt like this.

The tingly feeling in my chest whenever he smilies at me, or the way that when I am with him, I suddenly feel like a million bucks, I have never felt before.

Yes, I am sixteen and it is quite normal to have never felt this way before. But, with the other boys I have had, or believed I had feelings for, I thought the nervousness was a good thing. Nervousness now, I realize, comes with discomfort and uncertainty with who I am going out with. Being anxious about anticipating the next move after a kiss, or our next conversation, is completely different, none of which I realized until now.

I am in bed this morning, staring up at my ceiling fan with my phone on my chest. A giddy smile is rested on my lips and the butterflies are flooding my body.

The movie night happened two weeks ago roughly. To my surprise it hasn't been awkward and we haven't had a run in on odd conversations when it comes down to affection. It all seems to happen naturally, which I like.

"Anna! Come help with breakfast!" I hear my Mom shout from downstairs.

My sudden bubble is popped, and I climb out of my comfortable space. I am wearing athletic shorts and a tank top currently, which should be fine considering it is only breakfast.

I leave my phone upstairs to charge, since it is on two percent. We have been texting all night, talking about everything really. To our favorite foods, to what we are excited to do with our lives, you name it.

I walk downstairs with a lingering smile on my lips, and freeze when I see the Styles family in our foyer.

I feel embarrassed now by my tire, because to my knowledge no one was coming over. "Anna!" I hear Gemma say with enthusiasm. Her arms wrap around my body and she pulls me into her chest. I haven't seen her since last summer.

"How are you Gem?" I ask, hugging back.

Anne and Des disperse into the kitchen with my parents, and I am left with Harry and Gemma.

"I am good," She says while pulling away. "You look fantastic. Puberty is doing you good."

I feel my cheeks heat by her comment, so all I do is laugh to make up for my sudden embarrassment. I know she means well, but things are different now.

"How are you doing?" Gemma asks. Her hazel eyes look to me then to Harry who is quiet.

"I am good," I respond.

Silence rises between us three, which makes me curious as too why. We all do get along, but I wonder if it is an awkward situation for Harry. Then again, I don't know why it would.

"Well, I will break the ice then," His sister says making me snicker. "Harry has met a girl."

"Gem-" Harry scolds with narrowing green eyes.

"He was up talking to her all night in the living room. He was just tapping away like a giddy school boy." She teases, also making my cheeks flush.

"Gemma, shut it." He says again with a groan. His hand wipes down on his face in embarrassment, making me smile.

Harry and I briefly make eye contact and then look back to his sister. "I think you should bring her around, right Sienna?"

Her eyes look to me for insurance, so I nod, not knowing what to really say. "How do you know I was even up Gemma?" Harry asks his sister while crossing his arms.

"During the night when I needed water, you were sitting on the couch, smiling at your phone. Who else would've it been?" His sister asks like it is obvious.

"You're so nosey." Harry mumbles.

"Anyways, enough teasing for the day. Imma go and see if the adults need help." Gemma says while nudging me

She soon walks away, smiling to herself. Which leaves him and I alone.

"Anyways," Harry says, clearing his throat. "How did you sleep darling?"

Those damn butterflies.

"Um, swell. You?" I ask.

"Swell." Harry answers. His eyes meet mine, then wander down my body, causing goosebumps to float to the top of my skin. "I love the outfit."

"It is called, I just got out of bed, and no one told me there was company." I joke, making him snicker.

"Harry! Come say hi!" Anne calls from the dining room.

He takes a few steps closer toward me, and kisses my cheek. "You have nice legs." He says in a lower tone so only I would hear.

My bottom lip slides between my teeth, and I just hear footsteps walk behind me. I collect my giddiness, and head back to my room and change into something more comfortable, and people appropriate.

While I am upstairs I also grab my phone.

When I return, breakfast is served at the table. My Mom makes a comment to me about helping that I just ignore. Ezra is still sleeping, which I am kind of jealous about.

Everyone is texting amongst themselves and I am just listening in. I am still half asleep to be honest.

I look down at my phone on my lap and see a text message.

Harry: any plans after breakfast?

Me: nope

Harry: would you like to go out with me?

Me: to a place?

Harry: yes lol what else would I mean

Me: I don't know, the question sounded misleading

Harry: my b

Harry: I was going to go Saratoga and visit and film shop if u are down for a road trip

Me: I suppose

Me: as long as I can pick the music on the way down

Harry: that is debatable

Harry: but I guess

Harry: I shall treat us to lunch as well

Me: wow I am spoiled

Harry: I plan to spoil you

I feel a smile escape on my lips and my heart flutter by his message.

Both of our parents scold us about being on our phones at the table, which makes our conversation end.

I look up and see Gemma staring at me with squinted eyes. I squint back at her so she knows I see her looking at me. She nudges Harry who then is looking at me from across the table.

I hear a ding from my phone and I look down and see it is Gemma.

Gemma: it is u, isn't it

I don't answer, I just lock my phone, and make eye contact with her. I then look to Harry who smiles at me. His deep dimples are on his cheeks, which makes me grin.

Gemma: u bitch how dare u not tell me missy. I aint no snitch

I read her message and snicker and go back to eating my breakfast. Anne soon starts asking me questions about school and colleges I am applying too soon.

I in fact was able to pick the music for our short road trip.

I was surprised he didn't complain either about any of song choices, which he usually complains about.

We are currently in the film shop, looking through everything. Basically this store resembles a record store but instead of music it is films. They have movie posters in the back, scripts of movies, and of course DVD's or tapes of films.

I look to Harry who is rummaging through scripts and watch him look invested in what he is looking at.

"What script did you find?" I ask.

His eyes shift away from the paper and to me. "The Wizard of Oz," He says with a lurking smile. Harry's dimples are rested on his rosy cheeks.

"That movie terrifies me." I say honestly while scrunching up my face.

"Then we have to watch it tonight." He says while nudging my shoulder. Harry's lips touch my cheek briefly before looking through the other copies of scripts.

"So what do you do with these scripts?" I ask while leaning against the display.

"At home my favorite ones hanging up on my wall. I was able to find my top five favorite movie scripts and so they are hanging up in their glass frame," Harry explains. "The rest I keep in a filing cabinet and read as if they are books. You can really understand the plot and story line more while reading them. Without the music, without maybe laugh tracks, you can feel however you want to feel, not what the directors are trying to convey."

"Wow," I say. "You went deep real fast." I say, making us both laugh. "That is really cool though, I wish I could see it in person."

"I don't see why you can't," Harry tells me. "I think you would like one of them." He says while winking at me.

He walks down another aisle and I follow behind. I wonder if that means You Got Mail is hanging up.

~

We had lunch in Saratoga Springs, at a local cafe in town. I love how beautiful this area is and how at night the atmosphere changes into something so magical and fun.

I remember as a kid my parents would come here for date night, and I was obviously third wheeling, but I thought I was in Hollywood or something, by how the town turned into something more sophisticated.

We then went to the park and walked around a bit after, now we are on our way home.

"Are you happy Gemma is visiting?" I ask Harry who is driving.

"Um," He pauses and glances to me. "I guess. She likes to be too involved in my life though."

"How so?" I ask while playing with my thumbs.

"Like this morning, she didn't have to say anything or ask you if we are anything. It is not her concern." Harry says making my eyebrows furrow.

"I think that just comes with being an older sister. I mean, I hope I give Ezra space when he starts dating, but she might just be protective and embarrasses you in the process." I come up with.

"I don't know," He says after thinking about it. "We don't talk all the time, it is like twice a month we will call and catch up, which is normal because she's in college. But, with the whole girl aspect, it is just uncalled for."

I nod, and bite my lower lip. I try to push aside the fact I feel like he is embarrassed that his sister knows we are--doing whatever.

Part of me wants to ask what we are. The other half wants to play dumb so I can pretend that we are on the same page.

My eyes feel heavy, and I begin to doze off. I did wake up early and not sleep really last night. Maybe when I get home I will take a nap or drink some coffee to stay awake.

"Have you heard from Michelle?" I ask, changing the topic. We are in heavy traffic now, which makes our ETA way longer.

"Besides at work, no." Harry answers. His eyes look over at me, which causes my heart to start racing. "You look tired, why don't you take a nap?"

"And miss out on this incredible traffic?" I joke, making him chuckle.

Harry leans in and kisses me. It is a long kiss that makes me feel like time stopped and we aren't even in traffic.

Our moment soon ends, and I lean back in my seat, close my eyes and try to take a nap.

~

I wake up to a hand shaking my shoulder and the words "we are home" be said.

I open my eyes slowly and see Harry's face in front of mine. His dimples spread on his cheeks and a smile is accompanied with them.

"What time is it?" I ask through a yawn. I notice the sun is going down which makes me believe traffic was a few hours.

"Seven." He answers. We left at 4 p.m and it is usually a 40 minute drive. "You slept through that traffic, I am impressed."

"I have many talents, sleeping is one." I say while resting my head on his shoulder.

"Can I ask you something personal?" Harry asks randomly making my eyebrows furrow and my tiredness suddenly escape my body.

"What's up?" I ask while lifting my head off of him. I am quite nervous to know his question.

"Are you a virgin?" He asks timidly. His eyes lock with mine as he asks it.

"Yes, are you?" I ask.

"Yeah." He answers.

"What made you ask me?" I say curiously. His hands are rested on my thighs which makes me get that tingly feeling.

"I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page about things. I didn't want you to expect more or less of me in that department." Harry says, making me laugh and a smile to break onto his lips.

"I think we are fine." I say before kissing his cheek.

"I haven't felt this way about anyone." Harry says moments later making my anxiety raise.

"What do you mean?" I question.

"I get excited to see you and hangout with you. I get those stupid butterflies when we kiss or hug. I didn't get those before and I never really got those thoughts or feelings about anyone." He tells me making my heart start pounding against my chest.

"I feel the same," I say honestly.

Harry smiles back and leans in.

We kiss for a while until we both got nervous our parents would walk out and see us making out in his car.

He walks me to my door and then soon goes home

I go instead and go to my room, still feeling like a million bucks.
