Narrator's POV:

Today was the day. The day when the volleyball team will face the greatest threat known to them. It was exam day. The whole team was scattered around in the school building, waiting for the greatest battle to begin. Pens in hand, the dreaded test landed in-front of them.

"START!"

- le time skippu to when they get their results back -

Wendy's POV:

"Waaaaa~ the test was so hard! At least we passed right Wendy?!" Natsu-nii said, hugging me from behind (in media without the heart and girl blushing. instead the girl has an annoyed face (no this is not incest)).

"Get off me. I'm not your pillow." I replied, shoving him off me.

"Wendy~ so mean~" He whined, trying to lean on me once again. I dodged and sprinted to the entrance to the club room, ignoring his yelling behind me. Reaching the door, I slammed it open, not caring about yells coming from the still-changing boys in the room. I was surprised to see Kageyama and Hinata sitting on the floor with gloomy auras around them.

"What happened here?" I asked Suga, who was looking at a test paper.

"The king and shrimpy failed, so they can't go to Tokyo with us. They have to take supplementary exams." Tsukishima said with a smirk.

"Hinata failed English." Suga said.

"Apparently Hinata figured out right before the time was up that he'd filled in all his answers off by one." Tsukishima said, still holding Hinata's test paper.

"Seriously?" Asahi said, turning around to look at Tsukishima and getting a nod in return. "Sadly, the English teacher, Ono-sensei, won't let things like that slide."

"Yeah, Yachi-san was really shocked." Yamaguchi said, jumping in the conversation. I remembered how she came up to me and Hinata right after class and looked at his test papers.

Flashback start:

"Eh? Yachi what are you doing here?" I asked Yachi, who was looking at Hinata's test papers.

"I wanted to see how they went!" She said, starting to shake. "They're right... They're right!" Yachi then looked up, tears falling down her face as she yelled in frustration.

Flashback end.

 "And Kageyama failed modern literature." Daichi said, coming up behind me and holding Kageyama's test papers.

"Apparently, there were a lot of reading comprehension questions this time round." Ennoshita said, looking at Daichi then the duo on the floor.  "But he'd concentrated on memorisation when he studied."

"Wow, he got a perfect score on kanji. Dang..." Asahi said in admiration, looking over Daichi's shoulder at Kageyama's paper.

"Well don't be too discouraged." Suga said, trying to cheer up the gloomy duo. "This isn't the only time we have away games..."

"How are we going to get to Tokyo?" He was interrupted by Kageyama who, along with Hinata, were arguing about how to go there.

"Should we run?" 

"Nah, we need bikes."

I felt sorry for Suga, because he was standing there, looking like he was done. Luckily, Tanaka managed to give them a way to get to Tokyo.

- le time skippu to after the tokyo camp (not the saitama one (im writing the saitama one next chap)(the camps confuse mee)) - 

 We had gone to Nekoma's training camp in Tokyo, but it didn't go so well. We lost most of our matches and a fight happened between Kageyama and Hinata. I wasn't there but I had to stop them, along with Tanaka.

Flashback again 😁:

"Wendy-chan! Senpai!"  Yachi came running to me and Tanaka when we left the club-room.

"Yacchan? What's going on?!" I yelled, worried. Natsu-nii already left with the rest of the team, while me and Tanaka were clean up. It was fine, despite the fact that he kept on staring at me.

"Kageyama and Hinata are having a fight in the gym! I can't stop them by myself! Help! They're gonna die! They're gonna die!" Yachi cried, scared for the duo.

"Tanaka go stop them!" I yelled, him nodding and sprinting down the stairs. I mumbled a speed enchantment under my breath, making a faint blue glow appear around Tanaka, making him go faster. Luckily, he didn't notice and I helped Wendy to her feet and we sprinted down the stairs as well.

(*cracks knuckles* i will conquer this kagehina fight)

Pushing open the doors open to the gym, yells were echoing throughout the empty space.  

"If I don't get better, it's not going to work on stronger opponents, either!" Hinata yelled, wrestling with Kageyama.

Tanaka had already sprinted inside without changing his shoes, and when we already reached the door to the gym, he had already punched Hinata and Kageyama on the head and was giving them a lecture.

Yachi was staring at the two sitting on the ground with bruises and cuts.

"Wendy-chan, are they going to be okay?" I looked down at Yachi and nodded.

"They're going to be fine." I said with a reassuring smile. "Let's go treat their injuries."

Flashback end.

They both refused to talk and were practising separately. Yacchan was talking to Hinata and making weird gestures. Luckily he got it and calmed her down, making her smile. (aw they are adorable) The rest of the team also started practising separately, focusing on honing their skills before the next training camp.

Me and Natsu-nii were helping out, since we were fine with everything. I was helping Yamaguchi with his serves while Natsu was helping Nishinoya with his receives. 

"Hey Yamaguchi, can I tell you something?" I asked him, earning a nod in response. I have decided to tell Yamaguchi because he was the one person I could trust, beside Natsu-nii. I gestured to the door. "Not here. Can I tell you outside?"

Yamaguchi blushed then nodded, following me to the door. We stepped outside and we sat on the steps.

"Well...um...how do I say this?" I said, twirling the end of my ponytail. "Can I tell you a secret?" (A/N this sounds like a confession oml)

"Sure." Oh thank the gods, he is fine with it.

"Even though it is weird?" I confirmed.

"Yes." He nodded.

"Well. You know how I sometimes get the ball to swerve in whenever I feel like it?" I told him. He nodded to confirm.

"Well..." I paused, looking at the ground. "I-I have magic."

He was looking at me with an amazed look on his face. "Woah! That's so cool!"

"Eh? You aren't scared? That I'm a freak?" I asked him, confused.

"Well I think having magic is fine, it makes you special." He said, turning red.

"Really?" I questioned, turning to look at him. Seeing that his face was red, I put my hand on his forehead, checking his temperature. "Your face is red. Do you have a fever?"

He turned even redder and I leaned forward in concern, not realising our faces were inches apart. I was surprised when he leaned in to give me a kiss. And on the lips too! After he pulled away, he smirked.

"Your lips taste like chocolate." That single comment left me in a blushing mess as he grinned at my reaction. "Wendy do you want to go out with me?"

I just sat there in confusion. "What?"

"Do you want to go out with me?" He repeated. I blushed then nodded. (well that confession was weird) Then I felt him wrap his arms around me in a similar hug to what Natsu-nii always does. And mum. I felt tears running down my face in sadness, much to my surprise.

"Huh?" I wiped away the tears, but they won't stop.

"Wen-chan? Why are you crying?" Yamaguchi asked me, turning me around to face him.

"I just remembered that my mum used to hug me like this."

"You can cry. I'm here." Those words made the wall that held my tears back, broke and I started sobbing.

"I-hic-I'm sorry. I-It's just that ever since my parents died, no-one has hugged me like this." I stuttered, wiping away my tears. (im just making the story more complicated. also why did past me make it sound like wendy was drunk? wut?)

"It's fine. Don't worry about it. The team thinks of you like their little sister. Instead, how about we try using your magic at the next training camp, just don't let the team know and let's see if they notice." He grinned. I wiped away the last of my tears and smiled back at him.

"Okay."

Special chapter:

Natsu-nii came running out of the gym and saw me and Yamaguchi together.

"Yamaguchi what are you doing with my sister?! Did he make you cry Wendy?!" He yelled.

"No Natsu-nii. Calm down. We are dating now. And he knows about the 'situation'." I said, calming him down.

"WHAT YOU ARE DATING?!" He yelled again, drawing the attention of the team outside.

"Wendy-chan what is the meaning of this?" Daichi came out with a confused look.

"Me and Yama-kun are dating now~" I said with a cheeky grin.

Cries of "EHHHHH?!", "WHAT?" and a yell of "NO! WENDY IS TAKEN?!" (noya i think) echoed from the gym.

yea boiii im done.

my finger is better now so i can type :P

next chap is going to be the 1st day of the saitama camp and pranking the teams

maybe someone from the camp will find out about wendy and natsu's secret? *wink* *wink*
