two - My Name Isn't Love

Her hazy vision created a disturbance from her regular eyesight as she felt herself be dragged along the dirt covered ground.

The ones she once observed became the observers as they dragged Brandi to the dropship, discussing multiple ways of executing her.

''Either way, we're floating her.''

''What? No, we can't. If we want Jasper back then we're gonna have to keep her alive. We have to know if she knows anything that'll help us.''

''Does it look like I care? That arrow almost shot me right in the head, she's lucky that she's still breathing.''

''Murphy.''

The tension grew silence and the brunettes eye's became harder to keep open.

Brandi awakes with a quick and sharp inhale as she felt a ice cooling liquid be poured all over her.

While the blonde from the day before stands aside and watches in sympathy, others watch her in amusement as she involuntarily shakes against the restraints that kept her tied.

Her dark color locks damped against against her skin that rose with goosebumps, while her bottom lips quiver at the temperature.

''Well..'' Bellamy starts, standing directly in front of her with his arms crossed his chest. His smirk making yet another appearance. ''Look whose awake.''

Brandi shivers silently as her narrowed eye's gleamed at him intently. He may feel superior now, but he nor any of his peers will last a month with what they're getting themselves into.

Bellamy drops his arms to his side as he takes closer steps towards the trembling female.

Her jaw clenches at his close presence as he places a soft touch on her cheek.

Brandi fidgets against his touch, fuming in rage from these conditions.

''You have a name, love?'' He questions, annunciating his new nickname for the huntress who he assumes planned attacking from the woods.

Brandi stays silent, refusing to give into any of them.

Bellamy pulls out one of her arrows from behind and pressures the tip of the object against her neck.

''Bellamy-''

''Why so quiet, love?'' He continues to ask, ignoring the squeaking blonde.

Her silence was the wrong answer because he forces the weapon into her thigh, igniting a scream that was held back into a very audible groan.

He pulls out another one from behind, taunting her with her own resource of defense.

''Go ahead, love. Plenty more where these come from.''

''Stop'' the blonde demands, striding towards him.

''We're here for answers. Nothing more, nothing less.''

''She tried to kill Murphy.''

''No I didn't, you dip shits'' She breathes out, her voice coming out shakier than what she predicted.

Murphy stood in the back, still amused as he comments ''It speaks.''

''Explain the arrows'' the blonde demands, but her request was softer and more sincere than what Bellamy could pull off.

Brandi shakes her head to remove her dripping locks aside.

''Oh don't clam up now, love.''

''Bellamy, you're not helping'' she scolds, trying to back him away from the injured brunette.

Brandi looks away and focuses her gaze on her blood soaked thigh that was still trickling down from her knees.

She notices the issue and decides to come up with an agreement.

''Wait outside.''

Bellamy furrows his brows at her. ''Excuse me?''

''Take Murphy with you'' She adds, not acknowledging his curiosity.

He takes a look back at the pale boy who was leaning against a dark corner. Briefly, he starts contemplating on commands.

''And why would we do that? Last time I check, we don't take orders from you'' Murphy retorts.

''As of right of now, you sure as hell will. Now wait outside.''

Though she kept her poker face, Brandi was pretty impressed of how she handled things.

Taken back, Murphy looks at Bellamy for back up but all he does signals him towards the exit.

He flares his nostrils before storming out, Bellamy following behind.

When the exit was sealed shut, the blonde returns her gaze back onto the helpless survivor.

''I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm not him. So if you tell me some things, I'll make sure to stitch you up and get you safe out of here without being trampled'' she compromises.

Brandi cocks a brow. ''And how exactly am I suppose to believe that?''

She shakes her head. ''You're not. You're just gonna have to trust me.''

Her once hardened expression softens as she looks away in disbelief with a scoff leaving her lips.

The blonde acts quick and pulls out the arrow, causing her to let out a small yelp.

''Now tell me..'' She starts while watching the brunette contort in agony. ''Were you the one who threw that spears?''

She looks up at her with deep lines creased on her forehead. ''Spears? I don't own advance weapons like those.''

''Then who does?''

''Does it look like I know?'' Brandi lies through her hard gaze.

''I think you know something.''

Brandi swallows, relieving her dry throat as she pants through her nostrils.

''What were you doing in the woods? And why were you aiming towards us?''

The tight hold Brandi has on her jaw tightens while tilting her head to the side. ''You came falling from the sky. Did you expect anyone to not come investigate of some sort?''

''What do you know about Mount Weather?'' She continues, ignoring fifty percent of her answer.

Brandi shakes her head. ''Never heard of it.''

''You need to start telling the truth or else-''

''Or else what?'' Brandi challenged with timid eyes.

''Someone will die.''

Her tightly pursed lips part a little at first in humor. ''That affects me how?''

''Because the blood will be on you're hands when you know that the answers you're holding back, could help safe his life'' She attempts to persuade, even though majority of what was stated is partially true.

''Sweetheart, his blood is on the one who threw the sphere.''

She started to get infuriated by the sneer that took over the brunette.

''Now I have some questions for you..''

She slightly shakes her head, waiting to hear what was coming from her.

''Where did you all come from? Who are all of you?''

Her features softens while lifting her head. She could tell that the girl was genuinely curious but she was running out of time to save her friend.

Without another word, the blonde starts to remove herself from the room.

''Hey.. Hey! You Said You Were Gonna Get Me Out Of Here! Hey!'' She calls after but the blonde was already gone.

× × ×

Brandi's brunette locks fall over her face as her body leaned against the restraints that's been causing deep lines along her flesh.

The dark room became a stale sight for sore eyes, as Brandi spent the past couple of hours planning ways to escape.

Though these plans had loops that'll only end in a matter of death. Her bore brown eye's slowly shifts as the seal opens up.

The brunette from the day before enters filled with curiosity. It was still new for her to process that there were people other than the ones from the Ark were surviving on the ground.

''Woah'' She breathes out, still holding onto the ladder.

''Octavia, I wouldn't-'' someone from below warned before Octavia slammed the seal close, not allowing them to speak any further.

Octavia takes slow and cautious steps towards Brandi, examining her from head to toe. As if she was some sort of alien that's never been discovered until now.

''Take a picture, why don't you'' She spits out of annoyance.

Octavia connects eye contact with her and notices the intimidation she holds.

''There's more of you, isn't there? More grounders?''

Brandi raises both of her eyebrows. ''What do you think?''

She pushes her lips out in an upset manner when realizing her presence wasn't going to be tolerable.

''Why did you take that shot?''

''I'm sorry'' Brandi chuckles. ''I forgot that I don't speak without my layers.''

Octavia rolls her eyes and looks down at her hands, which she clenched and unclenched furiously. After a moment, she looks up at her again, now puzzled on what to say.

The seal opens up again, revealing the last person she'd expect to be up here.

''You're not suppose to be up here'' Atom reminds, striding towards Octavia to pull her away.

''But-''

''Go'' He demands strictly, pointing down the ladder.

She takes one last look at the chained brunette who was hanging against the rope.

She lets an exasperated sigh before climbing down. Atom takes a quick glance Brandi before climbing down the ladder.

Once the seal was shut, she starts stomping and pulling vigorously against the restraints while letting out a raging scream.
