six - Not Too Bad For A Sky Person

Squinted into the sky, Brandi and the rest of the sky people at camp woke up to watch something bright soar through the night sky.

Same as the day Brandi saw the first group of sky people fall down.

Octavia walked over to take a stand beside her, watching with her as well. Brandi notices and rips her awestruck gaze towards the younger Blake.

Octavia notices her stare and turns to look at her. Neither say nothing, so instead, Octavia flattens her lips into a straight line and turns towards her older brother who came out yet again shirtless.

''Oh that's pleasant'' Brandi comments sarcastically once seeing his state, along with two other females leaving his tent.

''Options are always on the table, love'' He teases, kicking in the nickname he made for her the first day she was brought to camp.

''We should get ready, find them before any grounders could get to them first'' Octavia suggests as the parachute connected to the pod swiftly brought it's landing.

Bellamy doesn't reply to his sister. He turns around and walks to his tent, leaving everyone to think he may have a agreed to his sister's proposition.

But, Brandi was too tired and stressed after the night that they've had, and after being waken up is going to take a little while to go back to sleep.

She walks around camp to get into the sleepy spirit about three times and it hasn't done near the trick. If anything, it made her bored.

So when Bellamy came out of his tent by himself, she peaked an opportunity of fun.

''Let me guess, you're gonna head out by yourself?'' She asks with her arms folded across her stress as she walks towards him.

But Bellamy presumes his silence and walks past her towards the little opening of the gate that hasn't yet been covered.

''Hey'' She calls after, following him.

She pulls him by the shoulder and forces him to turn to her. His features were stone hard and that's when Brandi decided to match the max of seriousness.

''What are you hiding?'' She asks. It was clear he was going to find the soaring pod. But there must be a reason why it's just him, leaving the camp.

''The less you know, the better, love'' He simply says, before continuing his way out of the camp.

Because any of that was going to help her sleep.

A twig snapped when Brandi took another step out in the wilderness. Everyone seemed too focus to notice anything going on, so Brandi took it as the perfect opportunity to go back to where she slept before the dropship and gather her things.

The trip was a pretty long walk and by the looks of camp, they'll be too preoccupied to keep track of time.

Speaking of preoccupied, Brandi was particularly confused of the way things were before the sky people landed on Earth.

The only things she could possibly comprehend from they're strange language was that by the way used float meant they used to live in space, and petty crimes would be paid by death.

But major pieces were missing to the puzzle. Why was an entire population of teens sent down to earth and only teens? She'd also wanted to know what were those metal bracelets that used to be around they're wrist.

She'd be sure to question that to Clarke later on today.

Another twig snapped but it didn't come from the pressure of Brandi's weight. So she was quick to attach her arrow against the barely visible string and released at whoever was behind her.

The tip of her arrow landed in another tree, beside Octavia whose face was practically drained of color.

''What the hell?'' She questions, her heartbeat returning to it's normal rate after it's quick jump.

''I'm sorry. I wasn't following you, I was following Bellamy. I was trying to get past you without noticing bu-''

''What were you doing following Bellamy?'' Brandi interrupts, placing a hand out to slow down the shaking brunette.

''I needed to confront to him about certain things.''

Brandi nods, lowering her gaze towards the ground while curious of another concept of secrets. What were these people hiding? Or at least what do they know?

Octavia swallows deeply before asking ''Where are you going?''

Brandi immediately connects eye contact as soon as she asks, making the girl shrink from her stare. ''Somewhere.''

Octavia couldn't help but roll her eye's. ''You have an empty backpack and more than one weapon on you.''

Brandi tilts her head and muster a taunting smile. ''I said somewhere, Octavia. Not Neverland.''

Octavia clenches her fist nervously out of spite to ask more questions, but she knew if she did too much she'd get a side of Brandi she didn't ever want to see.

''You need to go back to camp. I can't risk you getting hurt out here by a grounder'' Brandi tells her, which gives Octavia false hope.

But she pretends to play it cool with a scoff. ''Because you care?''

''Because you're brother would kick my ass.''

Octavia flattens her lips to hide her disappointment and shifts in her spot.

''Hey..''

Octavia looks back at her and spots the sincere concern withholding her features.

''Please, go back to camp. I'll be back in a few.''

She nods, running in the opposite direction of Brandi.

Brandi bites the corner of her lips to resist the small smile tugging at her.

'I still don't like her.'

Once Brandi's reached her destination, she notice her has been deserted.

It's a hut in the tree's, a treehouse you could say. Only there were not walls, just a ceiling for when it rains and a floorboard for her to walk on.

It was also in a reliable spot near the beach to retrieve useful sources such as and only as water.

But Brandi was afraid to even step onto the wooden flooring.

Her sleeping bag was torn apart along with her handmade storage chest that was left open on the floor, completely emptied.

Hell, even any left over weapons Brandi had just to have for keepsake were gone.

She'd knew it was the grounders, it could only be them.

Brandi was even afraid if they trapped the place. Grounders have a constant technique that involves non visible trick wires that lead to matters of death.

Carefully and closely, Brandi climbed back down her wooden ladder. Once she reached the ground, she ran off back into the direction she came from.

'Screw it, I had nothing special there anyway.'

By the time Brandi returned back to camp, it was already nightfall and a crowd surrounded a contraption that from the looks of it, was a rocket.

Brandi pushed her way through the crowd of people as a lilac gas clouded the skies after the rockets launched.

She takes a stand beside Bellamy as he watches the rockets fly up into the sky.

''Miss anything?'' She asks, not really as awestruck of the effects the rockets were leaving as much as the rest of them.

He looks down at her, contorting into many different expressions before finally landing in confusion.

''Where were you today?''
''Nevermind me, whose this?'' Brandi counters when she saw a latina stand beside Bellamy and Clarke.

The latina was about a few inches shorter than her, with greasy light brown hair pulled up to a ponytail.

''Raven.''

Brandi disconnects her gaze from the girl after studying with a cast of skepticism.

Brandi reaches over and tapped Raven on the shoulder. Raven turns to unexpectedly with a wide and hopeful smile, faltering when she see's the brunette.

Brandi points at the sky before asking ''You did this?''

She arches a brow and nods. ''Yeah, I actually did.''

Brandi nods at her, finding her intriguing. She seemed around her age and was able to make rocket launchers, which is not something very common with someone at such a young age.

Bellamy is staring down at her with questioning and hopeful eye's, sensing Brandi would come off the wrong way with they're new mechanic.

''I'm Raven'' She introduces after the brief moment of silence, holding at her hand for her to shake.

Bellamy mentally face palms himself because he can already tell she'll say something snarly as in 'I know' and walk away.

But much to his surprise , she responds without making hand contact though. ''Brandi.''

Raven mustered the same intriguing smirk Brandi was pulling off and a sort of bond was made between them before walking off.

Bellamy broke his gaze from the two females before looking up into the distance. ''You think they can see it from up there?''

''I don't know. I hope so'' Clarke replies. ''Can you wish on this kind of shooting star?''

Brandi was already confused of why rockets were made, but the girls question made the two cock a brow and turn to her.

She notices they're stares and shakes her head. ''Forget it.''

The three stay silent, but Brandi couldn't help but feel bad. She could tell was in search for hope. If this was her way of finding it, who was her to doubt it.

''I'd probably wish to know who my parent's were. What they were like.''

The two take that in, especially Bellamy. Neither knew a single thing about Brandi except for her critical behavior.

Though, in they're defense, she wasn't exactly the most opening person.

Bellamy shakes his head. ''I wouldn't even know what to wish for. What about you?''

Clarke stays silent and while Bellamy was to lost in thoughts to notice or care, Brandi focused on her to see her looking at Finn holding Raven in a protective embrace.

It doesn't take rocket science to know that something was going on between Finn and Clarke.
