"The supposed player was thought to have gone deceased during the game trapping her soul in Estorra forever."
— Passage from 'Theories of the Wanderer', Various Authors

"Estorra is a real place." Owen says, explaining it to Aphmau and her two crew members. Heh, he was darn right.
"He's correct you know." I announce, walking out of the shadows with my cloak on.
"Who are you?!" They shout altogether, though not loud enough to attract attention. I smirk, the light illuminating my bright white teeth.
"An ally and enemy. The judge, jury and executioner. I am the Wanderer." I tell them. Owen was a good fr—ally of mine, so he was completely unfazed by all of this. Though he had the sad look in his eyes that came when he was reminiscing.
"I'm sorry but, I have to see it with my own eyes. Estorra? Real?" Aphmau asks, her friends speechless. I let out a chuckle. Earthlings could be so stubborn.
"You're looking at it honey! Ever heard of 'The Wanderer's Story'?" They shake their heads. Perks as an adventurer: Stories to tell, buts to kick. "Okay then. Start to finish, long story short. I died IRL, while playing the so called 'game'." They stayed quiet, listening intently.
"So now, I live here. But it's not a game, this is real life. The end." I spun around, about to walk away.
"Wait!" It was the girl in the soft green cloak with dark skin. Rune, I think was what they called her. I still had my back turned to them, but I halted to a stop.
"How did you die?!" I tensed up as she questioned my past. It wasn't something I was thrilled to speak of. Sighing, I simply answered her question.
"Some stupid disease, weird chemicals. I was playing the first version while in the hospital, as my mother was helping them make it. It was a 'get better soon' sort of gift. I died, and now if someone kills me, I will be gone from Estorra. I'm already gone from your world." I explain, knowing that it was a lot to take in for some. But I've learned to accept it.
"I'm sorry?" Simon says. That was the bard's name, right? His apology came out, more like a question. I scoff, hiding it so they wouldn't see my unprofessional manner.
"No need. Pity doesn't help me. Besides! Estorrians are a lot nicer than most Earthlings." And with that I left, falling back only the shadows.
