THE END
Osman Pasha died in 1554. He died after he celebrated his 25th anniversary of marriage with Fahriye Sultana, who he loved more than anything else in his life. He wrote poems and songs about her, he told everyone about her. Osman will be remembered as one of greatest Grand Viziers of Ottoman Empire who resigned just to be able to have more time with his family and his wife who was Sultana. He had four children with her who he loved the most. He died due to problems with liver.
Fahriye Sultana became depressed after death of her husband with whom she has spent 25 years of her life, but that didn't stop her to continue to be strong. For her whole life she was brave and ready to risk whatever is needed for her love. She always placed her husband and her children on her first place. She continued normal life in her palace raising her children who still were young. She outlived her brother Suleiman and all of his sisters. She wanted to help her nephew Bayezid to ascend the throne, but she has never done anything just morally supported him. She didn't want to make so many difference between her nephews, and that will later prove to be good for her. When Selim II ascended the throne in 1566, he gave some of Harem powers to his aunt Fahriye as she was the eldest female member of Ottoman Dynasty. Fahriye ruled for a short period, as she didn't want to live in Topkapi and she wanted to be with her children instead. She died in 1570 due to old age.
Kaya Sultan married Malkocoglu Bali Bey with whom she had very happy life. They had three children. Her first daughter was born just few days after her step father Osman died, so she named her son Osman after him. Two years later she gave a birth to a girl who she named Ayse Fahriye, after her grandmother Ayse Hafsa and her mother Fahriye. She gave birth to one more son who she named Namik named after her father who was killed when she was very young. After death of her husband and mother, Kaya returned to live in Topkapi where she helped Mihrimah to rule. She was in well relations with Nurbanu Sultan who later became Valide to her son Murad. She was influential also during Murad's regime and she is known for sending him many concubines. She died in 1581.
Fahriye's son Sultanzades Mahmud, Cemil, Ahmed and Yusuf lived a regular life. Each of them married only once and they all served their cousin Sultan Selim in Ottoman army. They all died around 1580s.
Aslihan Sultan was youngest daughter of Fahriye Sultan and Osman Pasha. She has never married and declined all of wedding offers. She lived in the Palace for her whole life. She involved in many Harem drama and she wasn't really loved because that. Concubines were against her. She died in 1567 after being attacked in a harem riot.
Gulcemal Hatun died in 1562 due to not being able to recover from her son's tragic death.
Raziye Sultan married three times. None of her marriages were happy and she had no children. When she went to give a birth for the first time, both her and the child died in 1568.
Fehime Hatun continued to serve Fahriye Sultan until her death. After Fahriye died, Fehime retired and died in Old Palace in 1580.
All the children of Fahriye decided to renovate the Palace where she has lived with Osman and name it Fahriye Sultana's palace.
Author's note
I want to thank everyone who has read, voted and commented on this book. It is one of my favourite books that I have ever written and also it was written in the shortest period.
In the beginning, Fahriye was supposed to get a sad ending, but since everyone liked the story I decided to at least give her happy ending.
I hope you loved to read this book as much as I loved to write it.
