"that wasn't very nice  Gen" Susan scolded as we sat down at the table.

"what?" i asked

"spilling water i could have been worse he could have seriously been hurt" i raised one eyebrow.

"first, innocent till proven guilty second if i did do what you think i did then you would also know that i calculate every risk nothing apart from humiliation would have occurred" i replied digging into my food. Edmund and Peter chuckled.

it was now home time and we collected Lucy from school she wanted to hold my hand instead of her siblings , we walked home and i went to my house change and grabbing stuff for a sleepover.

"mum you remember that I'm sleeping over at the Pevensie right" i ask entering the living room, mum was cleaning

"of course dear, have a good time" she come over and kisses my cheek and i hug her before i go back over to the Pevensies. i knocked on the door and Peter answered he smiled

"come in Gen, GENIE'S HERE!" he yells as i step inside. me and the girls plaited each other's hair before i went and sat with Edmund who had his head on my lap while i began to read to him. it was about as we were going to bed when the air raid sounded i rushed back down the stairs and into the living room.

"Edmund. Get away from there" Mrs Pevensie pulled him away

Peter, what do you think you're doing." Peter came in as i took Edmunds hand, i never like air raids and how it affected me after it happened.

"Peter, get to the shelter quickly." i dragged him.

"come on!" i urged  running into the garden Edmund let go.

"wait dad" he ran back inside followed by Peter  we were ushered inside and i waited for the boys to come back the was a loud bang before Mrs Pevensie looked out Edmund came crashing in.

"why can't you think about anyone else by yourself. you so selfish you could have got us killed." Peter ranted while i hugged Edmund.

"stop it" Mrs Pevensie scolded

"why can't you just do as your told" he sighed before shutting the door. We were assigned sleeping beds and i was next to Susan the boys were on the floor i kept tossing and turning before shooting up and hitting my head

"ouch" i mumbled rubbing my head i looked down Edmund was the closest to me i nudged him and he woke up.

"What?" he grumbled

"Edmund" he sat up and looked at me.

"another nightmare?" i nodded he shuffled over i got down and laid next to him. he and my mom were the only ones who stopped me from having nightmares even though i was 11 when it came to my night terror i would be back to a little girl. i laid my head on his shoulder and fell back asleep. i woke up the next morning like everyone else.

"I'm going to see my mum after last night." i told Mrs Pevensie she nodded.

"But take Peter and Edmund with you" the three of us left when i saw my roof was smashed in and two wardens carrying something my world fell apart.

"NO MOTHER!" i screamed running forward  Peter and Edmund held me back i tried to wriggle out.

"MAMA NO!, MAMA" I cried dropping to the floor Edmund hugged me and i clutched onto him.

"Are you Genevieve Alexia Callahan " i said nothing just held on to Edmund for dear life.

"where is her father" man asked

"he's on the front line"  I heard Peter reply

"we'll take care of here come on dear." i was stood up. Mrs Pevensie stood there hugged me i felt numb my Dad was on the front and my mum was dead. they were the only family i had.
