If only the third one was in here, this would be perfect. But for now, I was perfectly content with the other two. After all, they were the ones I needed to study most.

I knew the oldest one wasn't asleep, just pretending. She had a secret. And I was about to find out what is was.

**Hermione POV**

Finally, I was alone-mostly. Carolyn was here, but she was asleep, and trust me- There is nothing that can wake that girl up until she's ready.

So, I was alone.

I lifted my hand slowly, and a mound of soil formed in the air. I raised my other hand, and I saw a small, green sprout just starting to appear in it. But the plant needed one more thing-water. And you all know where that water would have to come from.

I wasn't going to tell Carolyn yet, though. I needed to keep it a secret for now. My only guess of where it had come from was a memory from a few months back, where Carolyn and I had both researched to see what our names meant. Hers meant 'beautiful woman', which she immediately disagreed with. In the muggle world, she felt like an outcast.

I'll tell you more about the muggle world later. I don't want to get distracted now.

My name, as I found out, meant 'earthly'. I controlled the element of earth. Coincidence? Or an omen?

Now for the muggle world I promised. You thought I'd wait longer, didn't you? Gotcha!

After I found out who my true parents were, the ones who had raised Carolyn, I moved into that house with them. But even with Hogwarts, out parents still forced Carolyn to go to school with the muggles. She hated it. I'd have to go too, if my foster parents hasn't dropped me out. But Carolyn couldn't drop out when she was eight, so she still had to go.

You're probably wondering how she got into Hogwarts at age 8. Long story. But don't forget about that muggle school part, that'll come up again later.

**Unknown POV**

Here she was, using her powers. So she controlled earth. Interesting, yet I had expected that.

I was only a bit surprised that she didn't notice me, but then again, I had developed a skill for hiding. If anyone saw me...

I was anxious to see the other two's powers in action. The three of them together would be unstoppable.

And they were curious. I knew that they'd find out about me someday, and find their way to the Cave, as I liked to call it.

Yes, I couldn't wait to see them develop. But as eager as I was, I could stay here for as long as I needed to.
