Carolyn POV

Wow, I really am forgetful. I suppose I should tell you the things about me that you probably need to know:

1. I can shape-shift into a pure white horse with a light blue snowflake on my front right hoof (Snowflake) and a pure white persian cat (Crystal)

2. I can control water (as said before).

3. My right ear has always been slightly pointed. Only my right ear, though, and only enough to make me notice. Weird, huh?

Alright. Shall we get back to the story?

Arwen took us to where we'd be staying soon after I climbed down. I wonder if she saw any of the water. I hope not, for that was a thing I wanted to keep secret.

You know, except for telling Legolas pretty much everything about it.

Hermione knew too, but she practically had to. She is my sister, after all.

An I getting off topic? I tend to do that.

Anyways... The room was huge. And...perfect! The beds were soft, the pillows fluffy, yet firm-firm enough for my liking. Trust me, that's saying something coming from me.

We didn't really have anything to unpack, so we just flopped down on the beds. Hermione looked at me, giving me a glance, the classic 'Carolyn-what-did-we-get-into-this-time-and-more-importantly-how-are-we-going-to-get-out-of-it' glance.

We have a very complicated system going on, if you can't tell.

"Two questions." Hermione said suddenly, breaking the silence. "One, how do we get back to Hogwarts, and two, what are we going to wear while we're here?"

I smiled. "Typical Hermione statement" I laughed.

She rolled her eyes playfully, before adding, "No, really. How are we going to get back?"

I shrugged. "No idea whatsoever. Oh, have you noticed that almost all the people here are elves?" There's another one of my 'talents'-changing the subject really quickly.

Hey, it's the little details that count, right?

"I had a feeling..." she replied. "Elves, just like the ones in our books!" She sighed happily. "I said I'd do anything to see one, and this place is FULL of them!"

Both of us let out excited squeals, before laughing. Is getting overexcited a skill? If so, we'd mastered it.

Night fell quickly, the crickets beginning their symphony. Both of us were exhausted, you know, since we had just gotten lost and found a place we'd never heard of where we felt that something was kinda odd around here. That can be pretty tiring.

I was asleep before I could see the silver-white bird sitting by the window.
