Arwen POV

The sisters had already left when I came into the library a while later. I immediately realized that Beyond the Storm was gone. I wondered which one of them was reading it.

I saw that they had left something, a book with Shafts of Light written on the front. I picked it up, opening it. Inside was a small introduction or note.

New place, new people, same story. The story of an amazing discovery, and what led to many adventures. I suppose where we are now is just one of those adventures. -Hermione Granger

I read the entire book quite quickly, for there was nothing else written after the first few chapters. I hoped that Hermione would come back and write more. I wanted to know the rest of the story of her and the mysterious visitor.

Carolyn POV

But the biggest shock came when she looked up to see a face, smiling down at her.

"You have a great destiny ahead of you" The mist-figure told the girl, who was staring in awe.

"Your name is Storm" continued the figure. "And soon, the world will be in your hands"

The girl could say nothing, only watch as the mist-figure dissolved into the air. And she was back on the shore as the lightning and downpour disappeared, as if nothing had happened at all.

All she knew was that her name was Storm. And she had a world to save.

Jeez, this book was good. I couldn't stop reading it. Hermione would probably like it.

I was glad that they had books here. I don't know what I would have done if I had been seemingly trapped in a strange place without anything to read.

I felt my mind starting to wander. I drifted off from the real world, letting myself imagine my little fantasies. I did this a lot, to escape from all of my troubles. Lost in my own little world.

"Legolas is waiting for you by the Sky Oak" Hermione suddenly said. I had been so caught up in daydreaming that I hadn't heard her come in.

"What embarrassing thing did I say in my sleep this time that you had to tell him?" I asked sarcastically.

Hermione rolled her eyes. "You'd better hurry. He said he might have something to show you"

I threw my bag over my shoulder, and started running to the Oak. I couldn't believe how much I had been there-but then again, huge climbing tree. Also known, in my case, as perfection.

I just had to keep an eye out for that bird Arwen had warned us about. I wondered why we had to stay away. Although it was probably best to deal with the main mystery first-which I didn't even know what it was anymore.

Typical.
