\\Izuku//

Today we have a track tournament against our 'rival.' The running raptors. Our name is totally better! The tournament decides whether you go to districts or not. That's where you better stand out and get the judges attention.

You have to place top 5 out of all of your events. Lucky for me mine is only the 100, 200, 400, and 1400. My mom said she'll be there and cheer the midoriya name. But us as track students are taking the bus there while our parents drive.

I honestly can't wait. We're already half way there. Koyo and some other people tried getting me to 'sit in the back' but the back of the bus is always loud and crazy. So I sat in the front, Koyo was gonna sit with me but I could tell he wanted to go to the back.

I felt bad so...I sat in the back. Like I said the back of the bus is loud and crazy but americans are so much worse! There so loud and crazy! Like how does someone have that much energy. I on the other hand was trying to conserve my energy.

I already had a headache and I really didn't want to run with a headache. So I put my headphones in to drown out the other... Extra noise.

On the way there it started raining pretty bad. The coach's were planning on canceling it but they decided not to because they made the judges come all this way.

We all loaded off the bus and ran to the stadium. The stadium had a big cover over it blocking rain from hitting the stadium seats. I see my mom in a green fluffy blanket. She has a sign that's covering two seats says: Midoriya #26!

I laugh and run to my mom. "Glad you came." "Me too. I haven't gone to any of your track competitions so i'm exited to see my baby boy compete!" She pulls me into a hug. "M-mom stop." She pulls away and looks around her.

"But I wish it was sunny, you'll catch a cold running in this kind of weather." I was about to reply but niko called me. "Pipsqueak! We're on!" "Pipsqueak?" My mom said in surprise. "Wish me good luck!" I headed off the stadium and into the rainy weather.

We're racing the 100 meter. It's two from the running raptors and two from our school. "Number 26 lane 2." Finally the referee calls my name. I get in my lane, the two guys from the other school look at me and almost laugh.

"Hey I wouldn't if I were you- You know what just wait and see he'll kick your ass." Niko said smirking at me. Thank you niko. I was only out in the rain for 6 minutes and my hair and clothes are completely drenched.

"Runners on the ready. Set. GO." He fires the gun and we took off running. Niko and I in the lead, eventually I passed Nico and placed first while nico places second leaving the other two in last.

They look at me in shock. "Told ya." Niko said laughing. "MY BABY! THATS MY BABY! NUMBER 26!!" I immediately stop when I hear my moms voice.

Why! I walk back to the stadium shivering and chatting my teeth. "Izuku! I never knew you were so fast- Oh my, here!" She hands my a blanket with a built in heating pad. She got it at the market near our house. She said that'll be her go to store. My moms a pain sometimes but I absolutely love her.

I won in all my events, the last one is the 1400. That'll decide weather I go to districts or not. "Number 26, lane 3." This time its 4 people from our school and four from the other. Now that the other school saw how fast I am they're starting to take me serious.

"Runners on the ready. Set. GO!" Every single runner runs full sprint. I literally told my teammates to pace themselves! What are they doing? GOING ALL OUT.

Whatever, it's not my problem I just don't want to hear them complain how they didn't make it to districts and I did. I'm all the way in the back, 8th place. Like I did with Niko I wait for every person to start to slow down. They start running sloppy and there breathing is hard and uneven.

Then they all slow down. That's when I start running faster than I was. Passing 7th,6th,5th,4th,3rd,2nd. Leaving me in 1st place, I still reserved some of my energy until the finish line. When I saw the finish line I sprinted faster.

But one guy from the other school was running faster, he was side by side from me. We crossed the finish line at the exact same time. I glared at whoever that was to see he was already glaring at me.

The judges started going over the teams and numbers. "All track numbers come to the field." My heart was beating fast. The moment I waited for. "Good luck Izuku."

"Sorrowing egals please step up." Our school walked forward waiting for the announcer to say our numbers. "Number 6, 17, 13, 19, 10, 20! I'm sorry you are not qualified."

Damn, IM NOT ONE OF THOSE NUMBERS! "Number 15, 18, 01, 5, 25, and 26 Congratulations you have passed, please see Mr. Chivinski for the papers."

Everyone else cheered but me. I knew I was gonna make it. Koyo ran up to me and hugged me. "We made it!" Koyo was in the relay races, long jump, and hurdles. He got First place in all of them. I was kinda happy he passed.

The line was so long for the papers to go to districts. My mom was beaming with joy. I went to go to the bathroom while my mom stayed in line. All of a sudden i'm shoves to the ground.

Someone grips my shoulder pretty damn tight. "See you in districts." It was the guy who got a tie with me. I shove him away and glare at him. "Yeah." I shoulder check him and walk away completely forgetting about going to the bathroom.

I was actually pissed. I walked to the front of the line and snatched the papers. "Hey you can't-." "Fucking deal with it." I grabbed my moms hand and walked to our car. "Izuku?" "I'm fine mom." I'm so gonna to win against him.

After school I run to Minas locker and pace back and fourth. I see mina skeptically walk slowly towards me. "Should I be scared?" I grab he shoulders "Mina! I need your help!" "Uh yeah what up?" I drag her away from everyone and stare at her. "Uhhh-."
