Boy

"Mom you can't be serious.." I say looking at the house before us. It was a dump. Well not really it looked actually quite extravagant for a house in Michigan but I still hated it. This house was the one my family had fallen in love for and it also was the one that pulled me from Arizona, where my only friends were.

"Oh Vic be quiet we both know it's perfect" My Irish mother says giving me a small slap on the wrist. I groan.

"Dude stop being such a boob punch" Mike my older brother says laughing making my eye twitch. Asshole.

"Boys let's start moving our stuff in before the delivery man decide to ditch us" Mom says already making a beeline back to the truck. I really didn't feel like moving hundreds of pounds inside the house so I just decided to sneak inside the abondaned home.

Humming a soft tune to myself I fish out my golden key from my pocket unlocking the door. In all honesty the place wasent half bad; the decoration, wall, and even furniture were in perfect condition. Maybe it was just the outside that looked weird. Walking up the mahogany stairs I wonder into the third bedroom down the corridor.

The room radiated, calling me. Making my way inside I nearly have a heart attack seeing a raven haired teenager in there.

"Who are you?" I quickly ask on high alert. The raven haired boy smirks.

"Kellin, I'm one of your mom's patients.." he says.

My mother was a therapist so it was really common to see one of her clients in our old home but having one over so early was way beyond weird.

"Um..do you have a appointment or something, cause we aren't even settled in yet" I say making my way towards the cabinets and going through them for some reason.

"Careful, they look polished but really they are just as frail as you and me" the guy says grabbing my wrist making me feel uncomfortable. He didn't even answer my first question.

"What's your name?" I ask him squinting my eyes slightly.

"Kellin, Kellin Quinn" he says with a proud smile. His smile was actually pretty infectious, it was bright like it could light up a whole room. He made me smile as well.

"We'll I'm Vic, Vic Fuentes" I say shaking his hand slightly catching him off guard. Turning around to grab the earbuds that fell of my pants pocket and onto the bed I ask him another question.

"So why are you in therapy for?" I ask but when I turned around he wasent there anymore. Weird.

"Uh kellin?" I call out popping my head out of the bedroom and started to wonder to other rooms in hope to find the pale male. We can't just have some stranger walking around our home.

Suddenly I feel a hand rest on my shoulder making me jump up. Almost out of my skin.

"Damn calm down, you look like you just saw a ghost or something" Mike states making me akwardly set my trembling hands into my pockets.

"Where's mom?" I ask him.

"She's talking with a guy outside, I think one of her patients or something" Mike says trailing off to wonder into all the other rooms; exploring.

How the hell did that guy get downstairs and outside so fast? Biting my bottom lip I just shakes my head and walk back downstairs to see that the crew was bringing in mom's desk and other work equipment.

"Careful there!" A buff blonde male says to the brunette guy agitated at him for nearly dropping the heavy load. The guy just sympathy replies back.

Not wanting to be involved in any of the actual moving I head outside to dee that Kellin was still talking to my mother. Who really can talk to a adult for this long? Seriously I can't even speak to my teacher without averting eye contact every second. Probably why they think I'm so guilty at everything.

"Yo!" I greet making my way towards them. Kellin turns and I actually really take in his attire for once.

He was wearing a pink button up shirt, black skinny jeans, a pink flower crown, and black toms. Weird dude. Probably a hippy or some shit.

"Vic this is Kellin he's going to be one of my new patients, his mother lives next door to us so we might get often visits from him" she says with a bright smile making me groan.

I didn't want this kid to constantly be at our house, it was bad enough that mom's job required her patients to come to our home. Why couldn't she go to their's?

"I already met him" I just say before turning on my heel and walking back into the manor.
