I've recently returned to playing touhoumon so... I guess it's fitting enough to do this (and also why beasts can beat ghosts)

1. Touhoumon is a modification of Pokemon Fire Red, which replaces the 356 pokemon from that game with as many touhou characters as possible.

2. The origin of Touhoumon: A long time ago, grew tired of coming into the library and stealing her books. To stop these repeated thieving attempts, Patchouli made puppets with decent intelligence and power to keep the library safe. (She doesn't believe in Hong Meiling at all) Unfortunately, one of the tomes used to create the puppets had been stolen by Marisa and the thief herself created an army of puppets to overrun the puppets that Patchouli set up. When they came, Patchouli impatiently blew both armies of puppets and a part of the library away, including the remaining tomes. After the incident, puppets started reproducing and spread across the Gensokyo expanse. The inhabitants got used to having them around and, in time, they became like pets to everyone.

3. There are two core versions used for the touhoumon games: 1.5x and 1.8x.

4. 1.5x specs: This version kept the same typings of FireRed, though some weaknesses were altered for balancing reasons. It featured all the characters up to 12.8 and additional evolutionary forms. (EX, Advent, Last Word, Dark, Final)

5. 1.8x specs: Physical/Special split akin to Diamond and Pearl and new type chart. The streamline evolution changed as well; Instead of Chibi>Base>EX, it's Chibi, then either evolves by leveling up or using stone.

For 1.5 people, all the typings are the pokemon ones.

Circle is super effective, triangle is half as effective, and x is not very effective.

In 1.8, most of the typings changed, including what types are effective against what.

Honestly, there's not a lot of facts regarding touhoumon because it's basically pokemon but with touhou characters.

Maybe the games, but that's not really relatable to the general topic.
