1. Hieda no Akyuu first appeared as the main character in Perfect Memento in Strict Sense. She also starred in Akyu's Untouched Score series, which is a collection of PC-98 Touhou music.

2. Akyuu has the ability to not forget things seen once. This allows her to record history for Gensokyo because of this ability.

3. Akyuu belongs to a long chain of reincarnations of the "Child of Miare", being the ninth reincarnation.

4. Because of this, her memories go back to over 1200 years even though she was 10 years old.

5. The names of the children of Miare are numerical puns; the Kyuu in Akyuu means nine.

6. Akyuu along with her past reincarnations don't have a long life span; few live over the age of 30.

2. It was created by the Hieda family to ensure the safety of the human inhabitants.

3. The first volume of the chronicle was written by Hieda no Aichi. (ichi is one in japanese XD) Published in the 9th century.

4. The 9th volume of the Chronicle (written by Akyuu) is the first to be published after the creation of the Great Hakurei Barrier.
