Question #4: Is 049 depressed?

SCP-049 was diagnosed with Depression after being found to have suffered multiple depressive episodes. No medication was prescribed due to the unknown effects it may have on him. So yeah, he's just like us. He gets depressed at times. Why? Probably because he's lonely. I'm sure it's been very lonely for him to be locked up in a facility with hardly anyone to talk to except maybe the Site Director. Or the occasional D-Class prisoner before he cures them.

Maybe he's depressed for other, more personal reasons? Who knows? But he's not a monster. He just wants to help people. And yet because of his old fashioned ways the Foundation thinks he's a monster. Yeah well humans are the monsters. Not him. Humans are the real monsters. Maybe that's what he's trying to do? Cure people of being such monsters? I don't know. Or he could be trying to cure death itself. Maybe.
