Day 3

Day 3: Memory

I guess, life is nothing but a memory. Even yesterday becomes a memory. And whenever I came across this question of writing about memory, I had to choose something nice and good from the jumbles. So let's get started!

My favorite memories would be two of my most cherished ones.

• It used to be near in my teenage years, like I was in seventh grade. And my brother and I would build our own house with bed and a cooler stand. It used to be comfy and cozy. And there we would study, had our own sort of picnic with chips and chocolates. And when I look back it still made me happy!

• The second memory is not a happy one or maybe it is I don't know. But when I yesterday came to know about today's prompt, I remembered that and I was in confusion, whether I should share it or not.

It was Eid Ul Adha of September 2016 and it was my habit to meet my Dadi Amma(Grandma) after finishing all the chores at my home. So I went to meet her. First time, it was like that she was lying on the bed on a festival else she would be sitting, reading, talking with her grandsons or granddaughters.

She looked tired and I sat just beside her. I don't remember what we talked about but I only remembered her hand in mine. Because in October I lost her. That was my last meeting with my Dadi Amma and it still pierce my heart thinking about her. We shared a great bond, anything good happened, she would be the first one to know. So I really miss her! But I know, Allah's plans are better than mine!

So that's all for today.

Until next time 👋🏻😊
