Dennis is a rather stubborn boy. He doesn't like being told what to do, although he will try his best to obey the adults in charge. He isn't the smartest boy, which is why he is always trying to escape the factory. He doesn't want to believe that there is 'no escape'. Dennis has a bit of trouble holding back his temper, which often gets him into fights with the other children, most especially 'the bully'. He likes to slack off, though tries to never do it in front of the adults. Although he is quite a troublesome kid, Dennis still has a sweet heart. He can be a rather generous boy when in the right mood, and can often become very protective of the ones he is close to.
