A/N: 'OG' is original timeline (or canonical timeline) and 'AU' is (Alternate Universe)

We already know what happened to poor Cedric in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. His life was cut short by Lord Voldemort and Peter 'Wormtail' Pettigrew leaving everyone devastated.

But what would happen if he lived.

When he and Harry approach the Triwizard Cup but they would decide that Harry should be the one to take the cup. This results in Harry being teleported to the graveyard just like in the OG, but with a confused Cedric. 

After Harry return, he was under the impression that Cederic was the one who made the cup a Portkey. His suspicions turned out to be wrong when Cedric saved his life from Alastor Moody (who was actually Barty Couch Jr. in disguise).

The events of the story will play the same except with Cedric now alive.

In 'Deathly Hallows' he would attend Bill and Fleur's wedding where he reunites with his formers Triwizard collogues and have a talk with Harry. He would take part in the Battle of Hogwarts and survive.

Afterwards, he would become a father to a little boy who he named after his fellow Triwizard Champion (who he also made as the boy's godfather).

His son and Teddy Lupin would be good friends.
