Mother

Alexander's POV

"What the fudge did you do to this poor girl?!" Macy, my mother, shouts at me the minute she steps into the room. She hates cussing and hates hearing it.

"What are you talking about?! I did nothing! I told you, a truck came blaring out of no where and hit the poor girl as well as her friends!" I tell her. One was dead, one seriously injured, the other in unknown condition.

She sends me a pointed look. "Maybe if my son was not a gang leader, I would tend to believe someone's death was not his fault, putting into consideration that you kill for a living."

I roll my eyes. Yes, it stings a little hearing that from your own mother, but the things she has been through make up for her behavior.

I sigh and sit on the chair next to Brenda's bed. Mommy dearest goes and starts hooking up wires and tubes to Brenda.

A knock occurs causing both mom and I to look up.

We see Alec come in and then two figures follow behind. Emily and Amy.

"About time you guy's fucking got here!" I exclaim. Seriously, I had Lola, Bree and Kylie call them at like 5 in the morning!

"Language!" My mother scowls at me.

I frown. "Sorry." I mutter.

"So..." Emily starts but then trails off.

"Right!" I clap my hands together. "Um, yesterday, after the prank we played on you, Shawn, Caleb and I all went to a party. On the way out we ran into Brenda and her friend. They glanced at us then continued on their way. Before any of us could comprehend anything though, a truck came out of no where and hit all three of the girls. One died, one is seriously injured, and one is in a coma."

I feel bad lying to her, but I don't want to see her reaction if I did tell her the truth, it was partly my fault Brenda and her friends got into the accident, if only I had let her go. I don't want to lose her if she were to blame me though.

"Who died?" She questions.

"A girl named Jenny something." I can't remember her last name, but I made sure to have all her files deleted to make sure the authorities didn't get involved. It was very easy considering she was an orphan living at a small local orphanage nearby. She wasn't very liked from what I heard.

"Who's in critical condition?"

"Well, I never said critical condition, I said seriously injured, but it's a girl named Harley." She was the one who had refused to let me talk to Brenda.

Her eyes widen in realization. Gosh, I hate this part of the job, telling family members that their son, or father, or husband is never coming home.

"Are you saying Brenda is in a coma?!" She exclaims.

Silence fills the room, my mom had stopped to watch.

"Um, yes?" I answer. Mom hadn't really explained any of it yet, I'm guessing she's in a coma though since she has yet to wake up.

"What do you mean, 'Yes?'" She questions.

"I mean... You know what, ask her, she's the doctor here not me!" I would probably make a fool out of myself. I know nothing about medical advice.

She looks to my mom who gives her a pity filled smile.

"With the alcohol in her system, we can't tell if she's unconscious for the time because of all the extra work her body is doing to get rid of the alcohol and heal, or if her body has completely shut itself into a coma. I can't tell for another 3 or so hours." Wow. I'm proud of her, she's changed so much from the last time I saw her.

"So you're saying, my sister's condition is yet to be determined?" Well, I guess if you put it that way...

I nods my head. "That's exactly what she is saying." I keep a blank look on my face since I don't really now what I am talking about,

"Wait!" Emily suddenly exclaims. "Who is she to be making those types of hypothesis, and why is Brenda here instead of in a hospital?!" Oh! Good question. Hm... Their about to get the shock of their lives.

"So guys, meet the most powerful doctor in all of the United States," Alec answers. "Macy Black."

"Our mother." I firmly state.

Everyone goes silent. Then, a screeching noise fills the small room.

"Eeeeeehhhhh! The Macy Black?! The number one doctor in America?!" Amy exclaims. I raise an eyebrow at her in question.

"That is what I said I'm sure." Alec answer.

She rolls her eyes at him but then turns to my mother with a huge smile on her face. "Oh my gosh! I'm such a huge fan of you! You don't even know!" She exclaims. My mother looks at her surprised.

"She's been wanting to become a doctor since she was 8 years old." Explains Emily.

"She can doctor my wounds," Alec says. I send him a glare while Amy's cheeks redden. My mom get's up and starts walking towards him, when she's standing right in front of him, she smacks him upside the head.

"Ow!" Alec whines.

Mom glares at him. "Don't be flirting with a fan of mine, she's like, the only one! If she dates you and you break her heart, and she leaves me, I will disown you!"

I laugh while Alec moves further away from our mom. "Don't worry mom, I'll be your fan."

She rolls her eyes at me. "I want someone who is actually truthful with the fan thing, you are just doing it because I'm your mother."

Well, she got me there. "Um..." Emily trails off.

"Oh! How rude of us!" She turns to me. "I thought I raised you better! Why don't you be a good host and offer them some food and rest? I am sure they have had a long night of worries and having to rush here at such an ungodly hour."

"Oh! No! That won't be a problem, if we could just know how much we owe, we will be on our way and out of your hair!" Amy says.

Mom narrows her eyes at her. "Young lady, have your parents never told you that it is rude not to accept something from another person? Even if you are full and just had lunch, if someone offers you food, you take it, even if it's just a bite! Now, let's try this again, shall we? Would you like something to eat?"

It's silent while Amy looks at my mother, her eyes glimmering. Soon, the water works begin. She runs out of the room crying leaving us all in a state of shock.

"W-did I say something?" My mother asks.

We all turn to Emily who is staring after Amy with a sad look on her face. She shakes her head no. "Her mother had passed away five years ago, and her father is more of a workaholic that she doesn't get much parental attention. Neither do her siblings."

"How did her mother pass away?" My mother asks. She committed suicide. That's how. Her information in her files state that.

Emily shakes her head. "Sorry, it's not my place to tell."

My mother nods in understanding. My eyes widen after a couple of seconds of realizing something. "Hey Alec?"

He turns to me. "Ya bro?"

"Maybe you should go and warn the guards," I put extra emphasis on guards, truly hoping he catches the fact that I'm talking about the gang members who sleep here. "That they should not hurt Amy, or else they will have to deal with me."

He nods and runs out the door. Not a second afterwards, there is a scream throughout the whole mansion. Alec immediately stops and looks back at me wide eyed.

"Shit," I curse, not caring whether or not my mother heard me and start running out the door. "Where did the scream come from?"

"The east wing." Damn, we are in the West wing, how did she manage to get all the way over there in such a short time?

We run towards the west wing, hearing footsteps behind us, thinking it's my mother, I don't look back.

Soon we arrive, and I'm in a state of shock. I don't think it was Amy that was screaming, I think it was one of the gang members.

Everywhere I look, I see gang members groaning in pain. I think Amy hit some of them where the sun don't shine.

I can't see Amy, but I hear panting and clanking of metal to my right. "Clean up this mess." I tell them all and go down the path from where I can hear metal from.

I hear soft footsteps behind me. I turn around and am surprised when it's Emily and not my mother. "What are you doing here?"

She rolls her eyes at me. "You don't know Amy like me, when she is like this, she goes on what I like to call a killing spree."

"Like a-" She cuts me off.

"No you idiot, I mean like she snaps and beats up anyone who even blinks an eye at her."

"Oh."

"Come on!" She grabs my arm and start to pull me. I swear it's like I'm in her house instead of the other way around.

Soon, the metal sounds get louder, as well as some yelling and screaming.

As we turn the corner, both of us stop, our mouths practically hitting the floor from how low they are hanging.       :O

Emily was right, it does look like a killing spree. There are rips and tears in the walls and carpet everywhere you look, furniture overturned as well.

In the middle of it all, are Andrew, one of our newest recruits from here, and Amy fighting. Andrew, though 16, is quite a fighter. He's a year younger than Amy, but from the looks of it, it looks like they are a good sparing match.

Both of them have a weapon, Andrew has a wooden spoon, Amy has a pillow. Gosh, it looks hilarious. Really.

I have absolutely no idea how they made the mess they have right now, but it looks hilarious. A wooden spoon against a pillow. I nudge Emily's arm with my elbow.

"I'll bet you $50 Andrew will win," I whisper to her.

She grins and shakes head at me in a slow motion. "Your on."

We watch as Amy dodges one of Andrew's blows with the spoon, and she smacks him with the pillow.

He stumbles back a bit before regaining his balance. Amy uses that moment of hesitation and lunges at him, making him fall back to the floor, Amy straddling him.

I feel a flare of jealousy surge through me, but I ignore it.

I watch as Amy smacks him with the pillow, still unaware that both of them have an audience.

"Are you ready to give up yet poop face?!" She yells at me. Emily and I let out a chuckle.

"Whenever she's this upset, she really can't focus on what she's saying. I usually record her doing all of this and then blackmail her with the videos." She tells me while Andrew lets out a grunt.

"Never!" He mutters before switching their position.

Now, he's straddling her. A stronger wave of jealousy passes through me, it takes all of my will power not to go over and tear them apart, giving Amy a punishing kiss as well.

Instead, I turn to Emily. "What a horrible friend you are." I tell her.

Next thing I know, there is a sting in my cheek. She slapped me.

My eyes widen as I realize that that sentence didn't come out the way it intended to. "NO! Sorry, that came out wrong, I meant it as a joke since you blackmailed her and-"

She slaps me again. Gosh, I had never found it so damn hard to talk with a girl before.

"Shut up before I give you a kick to where the sun don't shine." I shut my mouth. I want kids when I grow older.

She turns back to Andrew and Amy. I do too, my heart clenches when I see what's happening. Andrew has his face inches away from Amy's. I don't think at all, I just act.

I storm up to them and grab Andrew by his collar and yank him away from her. "What the fuck do you think you are doing?!" I yell at him.

"Checking if she's still alive, she fainted like, a minute ago, and I don't know if she's still breathing or not, because someone," He looks at me pointedly. "Yanked me away before I could feel hear a heart beat."

Oops. Stupid feelings. I run over to her and kneel down. Putting an ear to her heart I try and listen for  a heart beat.

I found one and stand up. "EMILY!" I shout.

"Dude, stop your shouting, I'm right hear."

I turn and see her already next to me.

"Help me with the doors," I tell her before picking up Amy in bridal style. She's so light, and her body fits perfectly with mine. "Also, you owe me $50."

YES! I finally updated! Sorry for the unusually long wait. I had the 'amazing' pleasure of getting the flu, so, ya.

Anyways, why do you guy's think Amy fainted?

What do you guy's think about Andrew?

Okay! So, this chapter is dedicated to GamerG7! Go follow her and check out her book!
